      Definitely! I’ve been in a relationship with someone for a little over a year and I can honestly say it’s been a mixed experience. It’s the first serious relationship I’ve been in for almost 5rys. Right now I would say we at a crossroads in the “relationship”, but it’s really on her where we go from here because my mind is already made up and I’m at peace with it. I’m not a MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY person, but I’ve put my cards on the table because I’m 10yrs older than her. I’m not asking for marriage( at least for now)but we should start the next level of a relationship. The dating game is dangerous nowadays, I ain’t got time to be dealing with nobody who’s straddling the fence. We either move forward together or you get left on the curve.

    Make your silence louder than your pain!!! It works!

    • @stoickingdomoffical
      @stoickingdomoffical 3 месяца назад +14

      The idea of making your silence louder than your pain speaks to the power of inner strength, composure, and resilience in the face of adversity. It’s a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most powerful response is no response at all-letting your calmness and refusal to be shaken by external forces speak louder than any words could. In silence, we find clarity, and in that stillness, we regain control over our emotions and actions. Your words remind us that mastering the art of quiet strength not only protects our peace but can also shift the dynamics around us in ways that force others to pay attention.
      Have you found that in moments where you embraced silence, the impact on others was greater than you expected?

    • @stoickingdomoffical
      @stoickingdomoffical 3 месяца назад +4

      @@haitiqueen0119 It forces people to reflect, to feel the absence of energy that they may have once taken for granted. It’s true, that many people become uncomfortable when met with silence-it creates a space where they must confront their thoughts, feelings, and actions without distraction. The silence speaks louder than words, revealing its truth in the pauses. Your observation taps into a profound Stoic understanding: that sometimes the most powerful statement is saying nothing at all, allowing others to recognize the value of your presence by its absence.
      Have you ever found that this kind of silence not only brings people back but also helps you gain clarity and strength in the process?

      When they walked away, I felt as if my entire world had collapsed. My heart ached, each beat a brutal reminder that I had just lost something precious. Their eyes, the way they looked at me for the last time, keeps haunting my mind. I once believed I could forever hold onto that hand, that we would walk through all storms together. But now, it's just me alone in a cold room, holding onto memories, to moments of joy and sorrow that once belonged to us.

    • @stoickingdomoffical
      @stoickingdomoffical 3 месяца назад +7

      The way you speak of realizing the truth, even through the tough days, is both powerful and relatable. It’s in those moments of struggle and reflection that we often gain the greatest clarity, seeing the strength we’ve built from decisions that may have once felt impossible. Your comment reflects the Stoic understanding that hardship is the crucible of growth, and with every step away from what once held us back, we uncover a deeper resilience within ourselves. Your insight is a reminder that wisdom isn't given; it's earned through the experience of living, reflecting, and moving forward.
      Was there a specific moment in your life when you felt this surge of strength after making a difficult decision?

      @stoickingdomoffical 3 месяца назад

      @@emilybakerjones9881 The fact that he moved on so quickly must have been incredibly painful, but your reflection shows such resilience. Sometimes, when people move on fast, it’s less about their capacity for love and more about their inability to face the depth of emotions that come with loss. Your journey speaks to the inner battle of healing, where even though time has passed, the heart still seeks answers that may never fully come. But in your struggle, there is also incredible growth, and each day you are becoming stronger, not just for yourself but for your children as well.
      Do you think, with time, people ever truly realize the value of what they’ve lost, or do some simply never understand the depth of what they had?

      Your situation mirrors mine. I have been with my wife for 32 years and unfortunately I am now watching these videos to help me either break free. Our two sons, 23 and 26 disrespect me and my wife. Had enough of that. They tried so hard to make me look crazy because I have a hard time controlling my emotions. My life feels like communism. It’s a gradual process of change that boils the water, makes me want to bounce like the frog in the pot. I just realized that I have to leave before I stroke out, or have a panic or heart attack. Had a nervous breakdown two days ago. They made me realize that they are trying to get me into a psychiatric facility because I yell when they treat me like that. They didn’t realize that I checked myself in and signed myself out after 3 drs. all agreed that I didn’t need to be there because I’m not crazy. My wife and youngest son can’t understand that they are the ones who make me crazy. I’m done with them. Have to start planning my exit. Good luck sigmas. There’s strength in numbers. ✌️😎

      Ghosting, as you pointed out so insightfully, leaves behind an emotional wound-one that lingers long after the silence begins. It’s a withdrawal that doesn’t just cut off conversation, but leaves the other person in a state of confusion and pain, often questioning their worth. Your comment reminds us of the importance of honoring others with clarity and openness, even when the conversation is difficult. In a world that sometimes prioritizes convenience over compassion, your perspective is a crucial reminder of the emotional responsibility we carry in relationships.

Stoicism teaches us that it’s not about changing others, but about controlling how we respond and what we allow into our lives-and you’ve grasped that truth with such clarity and strength.

      There is a profound beauty in walking away, not out of bitterness, but out of self-respect and the quiet confidence that comes with knowing your value. Your journey of self-reclamation shines brightly, showing others that sometimes, the greatest challenge is to let go - and in that letting go, we find our true power.
      What do you think others often discover about themselves in moments of solitude and reflection like yours?

    Yes, yes, and yes. I knew a young woman who was a catch, good morals, and gorgeous. But her 10 years older boyfriend took him 10 years to get her to the alter. She wouldn't leave him. She wanted a marriage, kids all of it. I told her to pack everything of hers, don't even leave a toothbrush, take all your belongings, and give him the silent treatment as if you are not living on earth anymore. No text, calls, no one telling him about how you're doing. She did what I said and I told her only after 6 months she can let him reach her. He came back, married her immideatly, and in 3 months after marriage they were pregnant with their first child. They had two, but she passed away at 42 and only had 8 years of marriage. Now he says she was the love of his life..people are sure fools to take a fine person for granted. He is suffering the natural consequences of his own actions..

    I'm done. He's married. He still chases me, trying to gain access to my energy. I knew this would happen. I tried to warn him because I knew he would regret it, and he does. I'm like a ghost. I barely even remember the relationship. Meanwhile, he can not forget it. I am more than enough! ✌️

      It sounds like you’ve reached a place of incredible strength and clarity. You knew your worth all along, and now he’s the one facing the consequences. Your energy is sacred, and you’ve taken back control. Stay in that power, your peace is untouchable, and you are absolutely more than enough! ✨👑

      Sometimes it takes a while. Some people keep their walls up but the guilt will peek through. One day, at their most vulnerable, they’ll realize what they took for granted and lost. I promise you - if they don’t feel it now they will.

      Sometimes it feels like that, but you'd be surprised at how much your absence impacts people, even when they don't show it. Silence speaks louder than words, and time has a way of revealing the truth. Stay strong, you've taken your power back.
