How do you make an already epic Audi RS7 even more epic? You make it louder! We installed a cat-back non-res Milltek system on my friend Mike's RS7 and now it sounds evil! There will be many more videos of this car coming!

And for good reason. The Arkrapovic exhaust system is $8,000 for the RS7.
Wish it had oval exhaust pipes to match the oval exhaust tips instead because it looks weird to have quad exhaust pipes but only 2 oval tips.

didnt see a flexijoint anywhere there, milltek exhausts are prone to craking at the welds, so I would keep that in mind.

Can this car be equipped with Coils? Air Suspension sucks, it dives and squats like hell.
Yes of yourse it can be equipped with coilovers.
Thing is, this car is made for the motorways not little B roads, handling on this car doesn't really matter

For whoever sees this and considers Milltek as an option on their 4.0T based platform, I just installed mine last month. The valves make a tractor tilling sound on decel around 2K rpms that would drive some crazy. The valve flap on the right has a mind of it's own. On comfort or dynamic the valves do not respond half of the time. The exhaust was looked at by two different shops and one told me to just warranty the system with Millktek. It's been two weeks and I have no recieved a response. Pretty unfortunate for a $2800+ exhaust. To be fair though, it does sound good, when it does what it's supposed to do. Pretty sad that I'm sticking a screwdriver to force the flap open just to show what the exhaust sounds like to my car friends. Also my car has 6600 miles on it. The actuators and sensors worked perfectly on the OEM system before removal.
You can hear that tractor trailer flap ticking sound at about 4:06 when the car was started. Imagine hearing that every single time your slowing down or off the gas at around 2-3k RPMs. It's pretty loud too.
what other gripes do you have with the milltek system?..did you ever get them to address the problem?
@@CasparRiggs Sold the car and the exhaust not too long after. It was a sweet setup when it worked. I would go another route if your considering it. If you do choose the miltek, definitely get the non resonated version. Even having the non res, these cars are quick to 120 and at those speeds you can barely hear the exhaust unless your going through a tunnel
interesting you say that. I'm looking for other options, but I'm basically chasing the akrapovic exhaust system sound but don't want to drop 10k on it. any other suggestions that would get me close to that?

It sounds good except for the popping. It is like a more aggressive Dodge Neon Srt4.
I think AWE makes the best exhaust for this car(and most Audi vehicles). Milltek seems to highlight the sounds I don't like as much about the exhaust but to each their own.
Can't be in flip flops installing my exhaust. Better get some man shoes or boots on.

eh i wouldnt put it vloggy, in this particular video is what i personally would put in a "continuation" of the rs7 review hahah, i love his content and interaction towards his audience, its just a bit sad that he isnt getting the recognition he deserves

I would like an rs7 and understand how its nice to sound like a racecar and all but i would rather have the power and confort of the car without being loud...but whatever tickles your pickel
You can close the valves for a quieter sound
