The way I do it soon as I’m done with the job I just knock and say hey so the job is done come look at the results walk around and then ask how will they be paying (cash, zelle Etc.)
Gotta slow down surface cleaning . Pre treat with SH , and sometimes if it’s really dirty you’ll have to put a applicant on the driveway after you surface clean.
Okay let me ask you this. If you had fish that expensive would you not go the extra mile to insure that the company wouldn’t hurt them? Also if you got a $14k insurance check are you buying fish with it? I think not.
Dude it’s the contractor that has to take extra precautions like that. He’s the one that has the most to lose if he’s really a professional. But I’m pretty sure you’re a kid or don’t work for yourself, so you don’t know what it’s like.
I wanted to ask about water reclamation. Everywhere I look I see the law prohibits allowing the runoff from pressure washing a driveway (bleach, oil from driveway, etc) to run into storm drains. I am considering starting a business. Do all companies vacuum the runoff out of the street gutter? I have watched a lot of videos and rarely see anyone talk about the water runoff. Thanks!
Water reclamation is only required in certain places. You are supposed to use water barriers to create a channel and funnel your water runoff to your suction hose to reclaim as much as possible. I live in southern California and have been doing this work for a few years now. Its required out here however I see ALOT that dont use it or even have it on there setup. I have never been approached about it by anyone in the few years i have been actively working in this field so I dont know that it's even really regulated that heavily but I do know they can hit you with fines if you dont follow the regs.
@@that1guythomas most places will actually fine the homeowners instead of the person doing the business, will make an upset customer but yeah i dont see many at all using one
@@ZedTerminator That's just wrong the homeowner in most cases have no clue about any laws or regulations. It should always be on the company that has to learn the rules to be in business.
Before you start a job look where you may have possible runoff an NEVER use a harsh chemical if if it's the mold use a mild chemical even if you have to do it twice there are guys out there doing this an doing it wrong with no insurance an causing the insurance rates to go up don't be afraid to use a brush an let the customer know that you care about there property
Is there a basic contract that you have found works or is that something I need to contact a lawyer about? Is there a name for something like that? Is it just a basic liability contract?
Is bleach okay to use on all houses for power washing? I need to know what bleach can be used on and what it cannot for power washing. What ratios/percentages do you guys use? Will it discolor any surfaces that aren’t white? Will it kill grass/vegetation? Can it be used on asphalt driveways?
Never, ever use bleach. It can destroy seals and create all sorts of problems like destroy your powerwash equipment. Just buy really good equipment. And I'd rather just use some dawn or simple green than anything with sodium hypochlorite in it. If you're looking to kill mold and mildew (ineffective on dirt) mix 3 parts white vinegar and 7 parts water.
I think having a contract to cover your butt, is an absolute necessity and so is insurance. However, the way this was presented, was in very bad taste. His new contract allows him to kill fish and not be responsible and he seems happy with that. Ask a homeowner and see if they feel the same way! We all make mistakes and this was a costly one and I'm glad he brought it up. But IMHO, I would never hire him to do a job as he came across as crass and arrogant. I don't need to hire people like that.
So his response to his mistake is to have a contract so he isn't responsible next time he screws up. As home owner I worry about company like this and how they can fuck up your house and get away with it.
Maybe watch the video fully instead of speaking nonsense. At some point he said “We do not use any soap or chemicals anywhere near a fish pond anymore because we care for their fish as much as their owners do”
The most expensive fish ever sold, a Koi, sold for $1,800,000.00. People buy these fish from Japan and may not see them in their pond for a year or more. You got off cheap honestly.
There’s probably 15-20 pressure washing businesses in my small/medium sized town (population 106,000)…they’re all starving for work, so where’s this big push for pressure washing businesses?
From my observations, most are "just schmoes in a truck" with no branding, questionable quality or customer service. Thats why just a handful of those companies do likely 80%+ of the businesss in the area. It's like that in any industry with a low barrier to entry
Get a fish from petsmart? Spraypaint a fish? What a ****! Definitely a company to never touch ever with an attitude like that. He thinks a $14k claim can kill a company, an attitude like that and admitting it will kill a company faster! But damn $2k for an imported 20 year old koi carp is extremely cheap. They usually start at £2k here for a new one up to a year old, even going up to £15k each and sometimes higher depending on size and age
I don't know what his guys did but they HAD to have left the chem hose running into that koi fish pond... I cleaned about 200 feet of concrete wall that was around 40' high (probably around 6000-8000 sq/ft)with roof mix. every inch of this wall was hanging over the koi fish pond (more like a moat) it's hard to explain but it's an incredible building. I'd say at least 40 gallons of SH ran off into the pond. Luckily it was a water treatment research building so we had the guys come out and test the PH of the water regularly, and there was no noticeable change. None of the algae had visibly died, and as far as I know, none of the massive koi fish died either. It's beyond me how the standard runoff from a residential job could cause that much damage.
*SO NOW WITH THAT CONTRACT I BET THEY'RE MESSING 💩 UP LEFT & RIGHT AND HIT THE CUSTOMER WITH THE YOU SIGNED THE CONTRACT* *NOW EVEN IF IT IS THEIR FAULT BREAKING LITTLE STUFF AROUND THE YARD OR KILLING KOI FISH THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT* 🤔🤨😬🤣
My fish has a personality. Each fish ive had has been with me forever and are special pets. To me, its like killing a dog...you dont just by a new one! Im not alone in this. Horrible death for them.
I will never hire powerwashers again. They promise soft washing but when it doesn’t get easily clean, they blasted with full power. Blew out and pitted brick mortar on brick house and damaged windows. Everyone jumping into power washing not training employees or knowing what they are doing. Also drove their trucks all through over front yard leaving huge deep trenches.
I couldn't even get through the entire interview. Why are you even interviewing this person? He's clearly an arrogant self serving individual who put profits above professionalism, research, kindness and consideration. His attitude truly disgusted me.

The way I do it soon as I’m done with the job I just knock and say hey so the job is done come look at the results walk around and then ask how will they be paying (cash, zelle Etc.)
What about permits? Like getting fined for violating clean water act?
Hey man, I was wondering if you have any tips on when a surface cleaner leaves stripes on a driveway? How do I fix it?
Gotta slow down surface cleaning . Pre treat with SH , and sometimes if it’s really dirty you’ll have to put a applicant on the driveway after you surface clean.
Pre treat, post treat, and when really pitted we clean in circular patterns
Okay let me ask you this. If you had fish that expensive would you not go the extra mile to insure that the company wouldn’t hurt them? Also if you got a $14k insurance check are you buying fish with it? I think not.
Dude it’s the contractor that has to take extra precautions like that. He’s the one that has the most to lose if he’s really a professional. But I’m pretty sure you’re a kid or don’t work for yourself, so you don’t know what it’s like.
Money is relative. 14k isn't a big deal if you make 308k a month. You wouldn't think twice.
Thanks!
I am also very curious about this!
Roll the dice
PRESSURE WASHING CONTRACT: bit.ly/PWCONTRACT
Hey I just bought the contract a couple days ago, but I still have received it through my email.
Hey bro email Aaron to resend aaron@nashvillecleanwindows.com
I’ll check when I get back home to see if I can re send it. Also check your spam folder
@@ForeverSelfEmployed will do thank you for the response🙌🏽.
This dude tried getting away by trying to replace them baby koi at pet smart lol🤣🤣.... nice try though 🤣🤣🤣
Where can I get t shirts like that made for my company. I love those t shirts 👍🏻

@@gmork1090 so with dawn or simple green do you still just spray and rinse or do you need actual pressure
Where do you get those cool shirts?!
Contracts is the word
I think having a contract to cover your butt, is an absolute necessity and so is insurance. However, the way this was presented, was in very bad taste. His new contract allows him to kill fish and not be responsible and he seems happy with that. Ask a homeowner and see if they feel the same way! We all make mistakes and this was a costly one and I'm glad he brought it up. But IMHO, I would never hire him to do a job as he came across as crass and arrogant. I don't need to hire people like that.
Sounds like he knew the risk and just said fuck it lmao
Dude sounds like a bad business owner going around saying “that contract has saved us many times from liability for killing fish”
So his response to his mistake is to have a contract so he isn't responsible next time he screws up. As home owner I worry about company like this and how they can fuck up your house and get away with it.
Maybe watch the video fully instead of speaking nonsense. At some point he said “We do not use any soap or chemicals anywhere near a fish pond anymore because we care for their fish as much as their owners do”
@@ValentinauxUSA if they did, it wouldn't have happened. Dude thought he could replace those big old koi fish with some from petsmart haha
8 min insurance plug. Get that money baby
The homeowner should of explained that to them when they arrive to do the job.
Couldn't you test the water with a simple pool chlorine test? Before leaving. Did he say spay paint some carp? Nice
The most expensive fish ever sold, a Koi, sold for $1,800,000.00. People buy these fish from Japan and may not see them in their pond for a year or more. You got off cheap honestly.
CONTRACT.....And go get that MONEY...
should have taken a water sample and set it off to a local university for a sample test to find out how much of your chemicals were in the water.
Good to know
seems like the mistake was that guys parents not using protection
How funny
well good to have insurance
Geez, how much chemical did your guys get in the koi pond to kill that many fish? It surely had to be more than a small amount.
You were lucky. Some koi might be 60.000 a piece or more. .😳😬 And they are basically carp.
Homie said he has never seen a koi pond in person?
Spray paint some carp...bwahahaha!
I was gonna say, don’t use any detergent or chemicals around fishes in general. Poor fishies lol
This is bad advise. These things should be spotted at the estimate stage, before the job was accepted.
I Avoid Places With Koi Period. 👍
Did anyone do a water test on the koi pond to check chlorine, salt and detergent levels? Maybe something else killed the fish.
Did this dude say he was going to "Paint" some fish to throw in there?🤔 WTF
Maybe you should use green products instead of the toxic products that you use now
Jesus’s loves you so much, rap is sinful don’t let money control you get close to Jesus and make sure your brother and sisters are close to Jesus
Well as long as he’s protected then who cares about the homeowner losing all their fish, honestly he talks so flippantly about it all
Get a fish from petsmart? Spraypaint a fish? What a ****! Definitely a company to never touch ever with an attitude like that. He thinks a $14k claim can kill a company, an attitude like that and admitting it will kill a company faster! But damn $2k for an imported 20 year old koi carp is extremely cheap. They usually start at £2k here for a new one up to a year old, even going up to £15k each and sometimes higher depending on size and age
Wow thank you. I won’t do a job with a stupid useless million dollar fish pond ever!! Thanks so much!!
He killed her friends. I’d hate you forever.
😆😂🤣
He'll be fine and won't remember you and your hate
@@trueindeed1569 ok funny guy
*SO NOW WITH THAT CONTRACT I BET THEY'RE MESSING 💩 UP LEFT & RIGHT AND HIT THE CUSTOMER WITH THE YOU SIGNED THE CONTRACT*
*NOW EVEN IF IT IS THEIR FAULT BREAKING LITTLE STUFF AROUND THE YARD OR KILLING KOI FISH THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT* 🤔🤨😬🤣
My fish has a personality. Each fish ive had has been with me forever and are special pets. To me, its like killing a dog...you dont just by a new one! Im not alone in this. Horrible death for them.
Wow, glad I fumbled across this video. I have not had any homes with fish features but, it only takes once.
Who the f$&@ pressure washin a house like that not even dirty
Sounds like she set you up! 🤣 How do you get 24K back you pissed away garbage fish. 🤭
Why hire those people if they will not protect or cover the damage they cover?
Lmfao I wouldn’t sign any contract with this guy
I couldn't even get through the entire interview. Why are you even interviewing this person? He's clearly an arrogant self serving individual who put profits above professionalism, research, kindness and consideration. His attitude truly disgusted me.
what sort of clown uses chemicals near a koi pond
My thing is you did kill the fish why would you want a contract to screw your customer
Fish couldve been dead already, people r evil plus love to get over on businesses , because they feel its a easy payday , u think she will b truthful if the said fish were n a dying stage , everybody n everything has a expiration date , only thing he didnt know of a ny fish n a pond, im sure had he known he would’ve take many more safety precautions, just because u live n a 7000 square foot home doesnt mean ur n the same position as u r wen u first moved n home, folks plot on their next dollar all day , the contract probably was the very best thing he has done for his company n many others , exactly y im making a purchase of it right after this text 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 blessings to u
So the chemical run off is poisonous, ..... You murdered her pet......it's ok I'll run down to pet smart...
Me personally if I had a job with a koi pond right close to the house and full of koi I just would say nah cant do it and leave! Not worth the risk of killing thousands of dollars worth of fish for a $300-500 house wash. Move on!
Idk.... I feel like this video is a miss... He clearly doesn't care about his customers. I personally would not hire this guy.
