Very cool Bill. Thanks for sharing. I'm a city kid living in South Jersey. I would never know about this beautiful part of the country and the ancient markings if not for you.
What a wonderful place old friend. There is enough questions there to take years to answer. That and a beautiful day is enough to satisfy or torture any mind eh. A big, big thanks for showing us all this amazing part of your world. Take care now eh.
They Will Getchà 🌵 haha Way Cool ♾ Markers.. Those Stairs I’m Sure Are To The Big AZ Way to Heaven- Water Tanks are Way to Cool... Thanks For Sharing NS...👍🏻🤠🇺🇸
Hows your weekend going hope its going well top video allways injoy watching how otthers mack there videos so well helps me macking mine big thumbs 👍 as allways tyson
We have hiked those trails many times and just about every time we see something new. The petroglyphs close to the trails are some of the best we have seen. Looks like there has been some vandalism on the petroglyph plaza since we were there last. Nice hike. And the weather, oh my, it has been great. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for a nice trip and taking us with you, the White Tank Mountain Regional Park is beautiful. Tell Tammy I am craving Banana Pudding for some reason! Lol!
Cool trip man! Nice hiking cool history too! Pretty neat those falls don't fill up with gravel! Waterfalls run pretty good with that downwards pressure. Doesn't allow for small gravel to accumulate I guess. That river worn boulder with that small rock wedged under it was cool too! Must have been quite a flow of water to put that there! Or maybe a long time ago! Thanks! Joe gold
Great adventure and sites, crazy there’s water there it only rained a couple times last year. I used to run into petroglyphs in the white mountains while rock hunting and I always wish I knew how to read them and what story they would tell I Imagine some were Anasazi and 1000 years old. That hook was odd for sure did there used to be a well there hmmmm thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
I used to go dove and rabbit hunting on the East side of the white tanks about 50 years ago, lots of dove and rattlesnakes . My friend Tony and I went driving around the white tanks on the west side I broke a tie rod on my suburban, we spent the night in the truck and the next morning decided to hike up and over the mountain. The police were called by family member to find us. So going over the mountain I had a sidewinder in my face, lucky for me it was chilly so the snake was barely moving. We finally got to the top of the mountain and made a fire to keep warm and to signal for help. Lucky for us the sheriff department sent out a helicopter to look for us and the helicopter past us so we thought that we would have to hike all the way out. Then it came back and it saw our fire smoke, it had 2 deputies in it so when it landed 1 came out and I got in to be lifted to the parking lot below, the first thing the pilot said was don't touch anything in the helicopter. That was the coolest ride I have ever taken for free, then it went back to get my friend Tony. You met Tony and I at your gold outing a year ago.
Bill, you sure are teaching this old “Florida Cracker” some things about your state. It makes my visits so much more enjoyable having some knowledge of the landscapes. Better than reading a book for sure!
First thing I'm wondering, what your looking at the sign for? To see if your gold monster is allowed? 🤣 Just got an 8" commander coil.love it, smooooth😁
Hey that's my mountain! What side would you suggest placer hunting? I've been all over that mountain it's beautiful. Wild life from mountain lions to deer. It's a shame to see all the housing development on the north end taking over so much of the range.
Been there a few times, once with a troupe of Boy Scouts. Once there were Mountain Goats in the area (Big Horn Sheep). I was told that they died off because of the flys that were associated with domestic Sheep would lay eggs in the noses of the BHS and then they would get infected sinuses and die.1🤔😒
Thanks for the sub . I returned the favor and I’m gonna watch some videos . Nice hike . I’m excited about the rain coming this week . Seems so long ago . Be nice for some wild flowers to come up

That would be cool! But I think the State Park folks would frown on that lol
Thanks for sharing the adventure. What an amazing place. Wishing you both all the best. Take care.
Thanks for watching Shawn!
Nice hike and great video Bill, thank you and Tammy for taking us along.

I agree with you about the snake photo...doesn’t look like the diamondbacks in my yard.

Have you hiked the Painted Desert just north of Yuma? It is another beautiful place.
Yes I have Doug and we plan to go there again so Tammy can see it.

Thank you for not having a talking skeleton named Slim.
Sounds like rain is coming this week so the desert should come to life. So there are white tanks and how the mountains got their name, I guess.....
Thanks Bill, absolutely amazing country, unbelievably quite old. I have sent you an email that may help you identify some of their meanings
I will check it out
I never saw any tank.
