8:40 The first game was fucking insane. He was mate in 1 but sacrificed materials by giving checks somehow allowing him to escape mate and winning back full points of material - THEN proceeds to win all under time pressure. He got possessed by the AlphaZero gods right there.
I was constantly looking for any defense but the only one was blocked by the damn pawn.. and then he sacrificed like his name is Tal and suddenly he could defend.. but he didn't need to anymore because he could take the only piece (knight) that was defending the rook and also defend at the same time and then take the rook too, which was the piece to deliver mate and suddenly he was close to mating himself and won by time. This is Art.
These are the best chess series on YT. They give you the best opportunity to get to the point where you are proficient with an opening. I'm riding king's indian to 1100 so I know it inside and out. Maybe even longer. It would be cool if you could do another open that has similar plans for both sides again like maybe dragon/English. I'm not ready for the London yet, because I'm not ready to branch off to something you can only do on one side of the board. It would also be cool if you just ripped the vods instead. I want to know how you handle 1.D4 E5/C5 or in the case of the king's indian 1. E4 D5. I know it's not strictly the "London Speedrun" but it's important to know how to navigate things going sideways if you want to play the London. I'm currently going back to your fianchetto Speedrun to see if that gives me a candidate for opening #2
fr, i lost my account and jumped to 1300 just with fianchetto only opening. kings indian with that simple plan with c3, d3, e4, h3, a4, Nc4, Nh4, Kh2 (not this order ofc) and just send it with f4 really confuses people and improves your calculation when you have a plan already tested and proved by a gm up to 2000 elo
Is it just me, or does anyone else notice? When I watch Aman before bed, have nightmares, but if I watch Jerry then I sleep well. Will report back and see if it's 3 in a row
Why are you only able to include the games with the white pieces? Why are you NOT ABLE to include the games with the black pieces? I understand, those will usually not include the London system, so you probably don't want to include them. But not wanting, and not being able is quite different. Or were you not able to learn proper English?!
Combining the brilliant ideas of the chat produced a 500 rated game.
