He justified it as 'helpful' but really imagine how powerful Vader would have become if he wasn't in the suit, he would have been able to overthrow the emperor, gain an empire of his own and have the ability to access so many Holocrons learning new skills to increase his power and then he may have been powerful enough to cheat death itself. Instead he ends up a pathetic man in a life support suit, a slave once again and because he made a deal with the devil he can't get out of himself he needs his childrens help to do it...not really helpful Vader...
Except that Anakin greatly lacked discipline,i believe that even if he wasn’t defeated he would never have reached his full potential,Anakin didn’t focus on his force powers until he was defeated by Obi Wan.
@@Darth_Bateman if he wasn't disciplined how'd he sit in a room with multiple Jedi high council members and GRANDMASTER YODA and them be none the wiser for 10 fucking years he was disciplined as fuck
While i think that not everything George Lucas said should be treated as gospel within the context of the overall continuity, he did say that Vader had 80% of the Emperor's power, but would have had 200% of his power if he hadn't sustained his Mustafar injuries. That is very telling nonetheless.
PEACE. Super awesome, you have returned to YT, thought you had retired, I would binge watch your content when I initially came across your channel. Learned a lot and more of the SW allure, legends and cannon based.
I'm glad to hear you're still doing these videos. Your channel has so much potential. You don't only read the stories. You explain everything as well. I remember 4 years ago listening to these stories while at the hospital, dying from a liver cirrhosis, and when I finally got my transplant. So it's good memories to me.
I missed your continous uploads master. I can't wait for you to explore some canon moments like the Ahsoka series or Jedi Survival or Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
I think this is true. Vader had enough time to focus on the Force and study. Sidious taught him very little. He believed he followed will of the Force. And he did. It was prophesied mileniums ago. Everything.Nice to see you again😊
Times, as circonstances changed as the Force wanted: over were the impressive moves, the dangerous infiltration missions, the fight againt dozens of droid. Now he was an agent, a soldier no more, he was a general, an executor, commanding from a far, planing the operations, sending his stormtroopers dealing with the masses of ennemies. Now were over the hours and hours of daily physical training, now he had the time to meditate, to observe and contemplate the galaxy, a thing he did not have a lot of occasions to do since he entered the jedi order. So yeah, he seemed quite right considering these changes the Will of the Force.
Can go on this channel for decades the more I read Star Wars eu the better it gets .. you have unthinkable potential because so much more lore .. was just listening to book 3 of Darth bane and hearing bane talk at the end was like a philosophical class on the dark side and nature if universe
Agreed as being put into the suit and having to accept and use the pain that came with it, made Anakin as Vader move forward from his past self and accept his limitations in order to become the most terrifying and intimidating darth lord of the sith, that there has ever been in the history of the sith as well strengthening and enhancing his connection to the dark side, through which all dark things were possible.
Thanks im glsd your bsck . Missed your videos. Its funny i was looking at older videos recently. ( how was the clone army kept secret) and ( how the first order was acquired) . Death star im listening to thst at the moment ( audiobook)
Vader definitely learnt from his defeat as Anakin no more giving into emotions just be cold and much more precise, calculating and careful when fighting I like that he allows Luke in Cloud city to strike first to see how strong he is
Very Awesome Video! Here Are 4 New ideas/Plots! 1. What if Darth Vader Secretly had Anakin SkyWalker Cloned to be as PowerFull as The Original with The Capability of Getting Even Stronger & Learning Essence Transfer without Darth Sideous Knowing about it & Transferring His Essence into The New Body to Escape His Constant Endurance of Pain & Suffering? 2. What if Ahsoka Tano Used The World in Between Worlds & Rescued Anakin SkyWalker Just Before The Duel on Mustafar So She Could Warn Anakin not to make The Mistake That Lead to His Worst Defeat Ever! If That Were to Happen Anakin SkyWalker & Ahsoka Tano Would Then Confront Darth Sideous & Completely Destroy Him! 3. What if Ahsoka Tano Arrived with Luke SkyWalker At Cloud City Secretly & Earlier Than Darth Vader Expected But Didn't Know About it & Just as Han Solo was About to be Put in Carbonite Luke SkyWalker & Ahsoka Tano Appeared at The Right Moment, Defeated The Storm Troopers, Killed Boba Fett & Then Took on Darth Vader in a 2 on 1 LightSaber Duel & OverWhelmed Darth Vader into His 2nd Defeat & Escaped with Han Solo, The Princess, ChewBacca, The 2 Droids, & Lando on The Falcon & Made a Jump into HyperSpace to ReGroup with The Rebel Alliance? 4. What if Ahsoka Tano Used The World in Between Worlds to SuccessFully Sabbotage Alderaan's Destruction by The First DeathStar?
I love it when Darth Sidious says to Vsder: Imagine what Yoda would have done to you. From the novel The Rise of Darth Vader. The taunt by Sidious must have felt like a light sabre blow to flesh as Vader knew Yoda would have sliced his head off along with his limbs OR thrown him into the lava.
I do think the canon has tried its best to make Vader more of a Sith than Legends did, where Vader was always this sad, unhappy, broken man regretting his life choices instead. Granted, there is a gap in Legends between RotS and ANH especially, with TFU only covering a bit, but this shows how deeply and how quickly Vader embraced the Sith teachings in canon
Interesting material. But there was a painful amount of repetition. Was this a problem with editing? Sounds like several different versions of the same thing made it in the final edit. As for Vader and the Force - how did the suit strengthen his connection to the Force, when his suit & injuries are what prevented him from overpowering Sidious?
Missed this channel, I'd imagine he found it beneficial as Obi-Wan didn't immediately throw one of the two lightsabers he had through Vader's head that probably helped a good deal.
Darth Vader Post Cybernetics is a much better mental strategist in combat then how he was prior those Mustafar injuries but yeah no matter how much he improves as a cyborg he will never ever be what he once was physically before all that mess 🤷🏾♂️✅
Vader had to justify he situation to be able to cope. Still, Vadet wad a powerful being (just not to the point he could have had he kept more of himself after his duel). And if I understand correctly, he became a better Lightsaber Duelist (probably because the duel showed him he was weaker in that aspect than he thought).
He concluded it was helpful, because he was definitely coping and seething with rage. I mean if he had just been unable to win I could understand it. But being crippled and maimed certainly was not helpful to him at all. A mostly healthy Vader would have been a damn juggernaut. He had not yet his prime in life, much less within the force.
What sucks is that he could've worn a similar suit while remaining organic and at full power. Inspiring fear both power wise and by appearing. Alas....

In some aspects I agree with Vader’s view fear when used properly is a very powerful ally.
glad you are making content again... If not for meeeeeeeee, for the 349K subscribers!

Man, Obi-Wan helped Vader out again and again then by beating his shiney metal a@@.

As for Vader and the Force - how did the suit strengthen his connection to the Force, when his suit & injuries are what prevented him from overpowering Sidious?
His suit in canon must be providing him a steady supply of copium.

Isnt this legends? In dark lords of the sith Vader thought he was always meant to be wearing the suit.

Absolute copium to be honest.
Wat too much repeating the same sentence over and over again.
Not interested in Legends explanation, just the Canon.
