This has peronally been my favourite year for the channel in terms of content and quality, so it's really interesting to me that we get to see a peek behind the curtain and see all of the work that you've done these past couple years to get to this point. It was fascinating to put quantifiable numbers to the channels and hear you talk about what you think you did well and what you wish you could have done better. Also, I fucks so hard with Ace of Hearts, I cannot WAIT for more

At least, to me, it's pretty clear when someone is on the Live Channel due to the minimal amounts of editing (Specifically voice overs, as the main give away).
The tierlist of game mains and the rivals mains tournaments were arguably some of my favorite videos from the past year. Also the vlog video about the Japan theme parks was really good. Watched what one a few times already.

Just finishing this off and it's great to see that even this far in, Jacob's iterating on both who he wants to be and what he wants to do. It's cool to see the thought process and reasoning for each of the different projects as someone that's going into their 11th year. Now to just see how well those plans come together

Re: editing and streaming, there are a couple products out there that grab chat data, which makes it EASIER to edit, since the entire recording is basically already tagged and you have a real-time graph of how good each minute of raw is.

26:34 this segment is enlightening. My main concern about content creation is I don’t know if I can maintain talking for as long as I need to. Knowing that pre-stream Alpharad didn’t talk all the time is a bit of a relief. That sounds bad out of context but the point is I don’t think I have to maintain yapping at every minute in order to have something that can make a video.
As mean as it may sound, hearing Jacob's (and other creators' too but we're in Jacob's channel) struggles with being a content creator and doing too much give me a boost of confidence because it makes me realize that I'm not alone in my struggles. I've been putting in the work for the past month/month and a half to start making content myself and it's been incredibly stressful and I can already feel the burnout despite not even have my first proper video released yet, so thanks for the boost of confidence and motivation! :D Also if you need someone to help you with the Ace of Hearts album, I'd love to be a part of it! (and it would also give me job security bc I earn money by making music for people lol)

Alot of your reasons for changing your content and your content anxiety really hit home to me personally, like EXACTLY- (It was kinda freaky but I guess its just something we all deal with as content creators ) Im a *small* streamer in the grand scheme of things but streaming 3 days weeks for 3-4 hours for a year n half in 2022-2023 was so fun but god I was so tired after every stream and i couldn't get my other content done, i loved it a lot but damn I got tired. Plus the fear of being perceived is still something I deal with today so I appreciate feeling not alone in this.
I knew alpharad live was never the main channel but it really feels like a main YT channel. Just some "Among Us Funny Moments" Type content that comes from the heart.

I loved this recap! I found it interesting to see what videos I remembered in his tier list, and if I enjoyed watching it. My faves I was able to recall the positive impressions of them and why. Alpha was right about the filler/low-tier stuff; overall, I didn't have much of a connection to them.
Today I learned that the Alpharad Brand(tm) has posted videos that I didn't know existed that I want to watch, and that the mental health preservation tactics with streaming and like any other job are basically the same!! ive been very off of alpharad for 2024, as i used to watch mostly alpharad gold in 2023 and i had felt like exactly what alpharad mentioned here, too many videos made from streams without the youtube video in mind beforehand which i really disliked and i also noticed i mostly watched his top rated videos which is pretty cool, him acknowledging these makes me happy and super excited for this year to come, stay strong big man!
as someone who doesn't make it to streams the LIVE channel is amazing and the replay is amazing I'm surprised LIVE isn't as high performing as I thought it would be. I am a big fan of edited stream vids and sometimes I will watch the whole vod on the replay also gonna try to watch more wild card. Both channels are amazing you are awesome jacob keep up the work. As mean as it may sound, hearing Jacob's (and other creators' too but we're in Jacob's channel) struggles with being a content creator and doing too much give me a boost of confidence because it makes me realize that I'm not alone in my struggles. I've been putting in the work for the past month/month and a half to start making content myself and it's been incredibly stressful and I can already feel the burnout despite not even have my first proper video released yet, so thanks for the boost of confidence and motivation! :D
Also if you need someone to help you with the Ace of Hearts album, I'd love to be a part of it! (and it would also give me job security bc I earn money by making music for people lol)

Im so glad we're getting a new ace of hearts album. The first album and the monophobia ep mean so much to me and have become some of my favorite musical pieces. Im very excited for the future of this group.
A boy can always dream for my fwob boys. That reunion for Jamboree was genuinely one of the highlights of my year. I appreciate Dillon edits like he always as, Cade is on Wildcard, I think Don still edits and R.I.P. Major, but fwob content always makes me smile, even going back to it now! Can dream you have more opportunities for it in the future!

Alot of your reasons for changing your content and your content anxiety really hit home to me personally, like EXACTLY- (It was kinda freaky but I guess its just something we all deal with as content creators )
Im a *small* streamer in the grand scheme of things but streaming 3 days weeks for 3-4 hours for a year n half in 2022-2023 was so fun but god I was so tired after every stream and i couldn't get my other content done, i loved it a lot but damn I got tired. Plus the fear of being perceived is still something I deal with today so I appreciate feeling not alone in this.

Lights Off, Fool For You, Deadbeat Blvd-the entire Frozen in Time album I've listened to countless times and felt every emotion under the sun, including my new favorite song EVER being Scorpion Queen, and the fact that that we're finally gonna get MORE music really excites me.

ive been very off of alpharad for 2024, as i used to watch mostly alpharad gold in 2023 and i had felt like exactly what alpharad mentioned here, too many videos made from streams without the youtube video in mind beforehand which i really disliked and i also noticed i mostly watched his top rated videos which is pretty cool, him acknowledging these makes me happy and super excited for this year to come, stay strong big man!
as someone who doesn't make it to streams the LIVE channel is amazing and the replay is amazing I'm surprised LIVE isn't as high performing as I thought it would be. I am a big fan of edited stream vids and sometimes I will watch the whole vod on the replay also gonna try to watch more wild card. Both channels are amazing you are awesome jacob keep up the work. hard agree for videos that jump between multiplayer perspectives being too hard to watch, i usually just switch to the vod if i really want to watch it
