Here you have my professional Feedback xD:
Firstly I think the quality of your RUclips Videos increased by quite a bit and I really enjoyed watching this review
Yo Clarksten Brudi, thanks for the amazing feedback brother. Yeah that makes totally sense, I will keep that in mind in the future videos ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I will be rooting for the First Descendant because I believe competition will make Warframe better and in the end we all benefit :).
Btw I love warframe too!
Hey David! Thanks for your comment. I also believe that healthy competition will do good for everyone involved. It's actually amazing how long Warframe is already around. No wonder this game took inspiration from that. Wish you happy gaming david!
I think a lot of the negative reviews are from Warframe players that feel threatened by the game. Hear me out. You will see reviews that say things like "Just play Warframe." or "It's like Warframe but it sucks." And some of these people seem to get really upset if you tell them that you like TFD better than WF. They will call you stupid and everything else. Now, I'm not saying TFD is a WF killer, but I think some of the WF fans may feel that way. Image spending 10 years playing a game, dropping countless dollars into it then the next big thing comes along, I know I would be worried.
Hey Eric, thanks for the comment. I first quickly glanced over your comment because I was doing chores and I thought about why that makes sense. I was thinking like:"Yeah probably the hate, or feeling being threatened by TFD is because of how much they've invested already". And now that I finished reading your comment completely, I realized you wrote that exact thought 😂 So thanks for your honest comment. I agree with your comment. Would be interesting to find out exactly how much of the negative comments consists of the word "warframe". Would be an interesting video. Thanks for the idea Eric! 😂 All the best to you 🫶🏼
@@goodkarmamonk That would be a very interesting video.
Wf players from what I notice actually enjoy the first descendant. The negative reviews are primarily because the game is new and far from polished. It takes aspects good and bad from both warframe and destiny however doesn’t have a core personality or feel, making it feel a little lifeless (destiny has raids&pvp, warframe is fast paced movement&power fantasy feel).
TLDR the first descendent doesn’t feel worth the investment YET due to its early state, mixed with nexon’s history and monitization practices, then you see why there are so many negative reviews.
Give a couple months of development (assuming nexon doesn’t fuck it up), reviews will start to even out and become more positive.
@@projectseraph4086 Yeah, I know some WF and D2 players like the game, but I think some are afraid it will cause players numbers to drop in their games. Again, that's some do like it, and some don't. I have personally talked to someone that said "WF is better and that's a fact." I tried to tell him that was an opinion and inadvertently started WWIII
I have played Warframe for 3700 hours and I have barely nothing new stuff to farm in that game. I am just happy that there is another game close to Warframe that I can farm and enjoy. Also remember that competition between games is good for players.
The feeling of playing this game for me is the same as eating unsalted chicken breasts.
bland?
@@goodkarmamonk yeah filling, but unsatisfying.
Thats how I feel when I eat fastfood 😂
Would you come back and try again when the game has been cooked more?
The maths is ARPG , but people think its a FPS gun game and want to shoot things, but the spells kill everything AOE so fast that they cant shoot things with their guns until the intercepts
My mate has 5 characters and plays them all the same way as a shooter , (he loves COD, Halo, Gears, etc etc)
He is starting to play solo because otherwise he doesn't get to shoot things before the spells AOE everything
Others are going all MMO 20 minute boss fights all min max and diminishing returns , buts also the wrong direction
Its more like Diablo in 3rd person than anything else really
But its easy to see the confusion
I do like the D3 comparison because I really enjoy to roll for the right affixes of the weapons. All in all I have a good time playing together with my brothers and thats what matter to me the most. Hope you also have cool people to play together with :)
I think the polarizing part is that its very uninspired and soulless in a lot of ways. Warframe/Destiny with the "anime tits" aesthetic has a natural market for sure, but at the end of the day its basically a less refined version of either of those games.
Granted, Destiny is a hefty monetary investment up front compared to it, and its monetization (while MUCH more expensive and less player friendly by a LONG shot) is pretty much in line with Warframes model.
The performance and optimization issues are also pretty noticable, nothing game breaking (at least nothing I've seen) outside of some server instability that can get annoying.
I dunno, the game isnt awful by any stretch, but it feels like a cash grab. More like a series of check marks on a list of "popular game things" that were all just sort of thrown together and a lot of people kinda rightfully look at all of that, and the fact that its a Nexon game, and rightfully assume its going to be a flavor of the month thing that they cash out on with some sex appeal (see ultimate bunny) and move on, which makes people really apprehensive, and to me its with good reason.
Hello Bat! Thanks for the awesome comment. I think your 'soulless' hits on the spot. It is obvious it takes heavy inspiration of other games so Nexon doesnt have to do the creative heavy lifting and focus on, like you wrote, on the cash grab. If the combatsystem wouldnt have been this good, it would've been a disaster. Let's see how long this game can keep up with the fun. Right now I'm hooked until the next game arrives. I checked out 'Once Human' yesterday and I thought it was nice too. I'm trying to not focus on one game too much because there are sooo many awesome games out there which are way more consumer friendlier and deserves our love and attention. Not that this game doesnt deserve it too, but it makes it harder when the company makes anticonsumer decisions.
Its a spell game like Diablo, in 3D some people are confused and thinks its a FPS because it has guns and only focuses on guns like Destiny ,these people want to shoot things and hate Bunny's existence , like my friend cried last night, (he loves COD, Halo, etc, etc, )
Me I dont play with guns I play with spells until the intercepts , then its a gun game sort of
People also seem to think the maths is like a MMO like WOW, all diminishing returns , which again is a mistake the Maths is more ARPG than a 20 minute boss fight with a tank and healer which again confuses people
I found that i die too fast even with hp amd def modules maxed. And i aint even hit hard mode yet. Soloing the campaign cuz there aint no players around sucks ass. Call it skill if you a salty ass. I may not be the best gamer but i play games and have not had such hars times in others.
Hey you! Thanks for your comment. I definitely havent hit the ending of normal mode yet like you did so I can't confirm that yet but I'm sure it's not a skill issue. Probably a game mechanic that failed to inform players on how to survive better.
Are there less players around when you hit hard mode? What about matchmaking? I'm curious to know. All the best to you!
I can't say much for hard mode because I just unlocked it and haven't played it much yet, but dying has never been a problem so much as the DPS checks being a pain occasionally, mostly the big bosses and I still managed to get through them all. If you are dying with maxed health and defense mods, I dunno what to tell you, because I didn't even have that, I had a half leveled HP mode through the whole thing, and was using bunny, who is considered rather squishy and didn't have a huge issue with dying. I guess I would suggest a different character like Ajax or something.
@@goodkarmamonk im at the end of the campaign. Im soloing the purple missions and there are simply too many mobs. I would say thats the issue. I have modules on my guns followrd some guides too. I think it is simply soloing as theres never anyone in the lobby at the time i play the game so i end up soloing it. The final bosses where you public matchmake are easy i never die in them.
Bunny is just too fast to be caught 😂😂😂
Have you also done the 'prestiging'? Or give the character more (like +20) modding space?
I'm running out of idea because me myself font know it yet because I'm not at the end of the campaign yet. Sorry brother, not trying to be a smartass but maybe this can help.
