Mr Latrell, I am 69 years old and every day I think of my spotter and security man from my Marine Scout Sniper days. Yea, they both died in combat. In my dreams they are 19 and 22 years old.

I do it all the time. Im training for selection in the UK atm and when i get to that stage where im just exhausted in the gym i think if i was in the same scenario as Marcus and that mental barrier is strained beyond your capacity. Theres no stopping you. If someone can go through something like this, we all have the capability to do the same, just need to realise it.

Gives me chills when he says that
“Lutrell was rescued by rangers and had all 11 magazines” meaning he was at the very front but when the shots started ringing out he was quick to run back and never look back and his afghan friend that helped him get help took him to see the movie lone survivor but when the movie needed he had so many question but immediately got sent back to Afganistán imagine profiting of the death of your comrades not only that but making it seem like it was a heroic scene when in reality it’s was atleast 11 or more men above them shooting and still they managed to take down 19 soldiers and two helicopters one for evac and another for the other helicopter tax money 🤦♂️
Mr Lattrell, I just wanted to thank you for your service fellow sailor. I understand the discomfort you may feel knowing that fellow sailors were lost. My son was over in Afghanistan & Iraq and when I.offered to hear him out, he replied with "Dad, why would I want to give you the nightmares I've been having"! As I told my son, live your life like no other& always remember them, they'd expect nothing less. My son like you are my heroes, an honor you deserve.
The difference in integrity and character between those two human beings. Matt Laure does not deserve to breathe the same air as Marcus.

Thank you for your sacrifice and service sir. I was married to a man who served 3 tours in Viet Nam and I know so little about what you people did for us when it all comes down to it. The PTSD I have, I am sure can't compare to those our combat Veterans. When he told me he got a commendation for his first kill......how the hell do you wrap your head around that? God Bless.
And here i am in bed depressed about my life, life could be worse. What these guys went through gives me so much motivation.

mMaxwell_ 007 a navy seal would slap you dead in the fucking face if you ever said that to them. Soldiers, marines, seals, operators; they protect us. They are given orders by a chain of command (including the president of the United States). It's their job, they signed up for this, they know what they're doing and who they're doing it for. These men are beyond brave. Tyranny wasn't started by god damn politicians. Yes, politicians stir a shit around, don't get me wrong. But the taliban, Isis; any radical group trying to harm us, Americans? They are the right enemy. And we will continue fighting and protecting those who cannot protect themselves from these whom are trying to take our rights and freedoms away from us and others. It wasn't a politicians choice for a jihadi to strap on a vest and blow up hundreds of innocent people. Politics is a whole different war. Is it right? No it's not, but operators do what they do in a whole different meaning of war. You can't compare their job to politics. It's a whole different level of reality and any combat veteran will tell you that. These are our enemies. Maybe you as a civilian do not understand that, but many others do. Familiarize yourself with who our true enemies are. They exist, they're not some fairytale. And I won't argue, political leaders are pieces of shit. But you know, our man Don is going to fix that for us. It's time we come together and fight the good fight. The fight for freedom.

I just finished reading the book last week and even if you have seen the movie do yourself a favor and read the book. There is so much more in the book that they didn't put in the movie. While reading the book I was training for a 1/2 marathon and this book got me through those tough long runs. God Bless Marcus and his team for giving everything they gave so that we can do what we do.
Danny, Axe and Murph laid down their lives so could enjoy ours. What a heroism. On behalf of my family, thank you!!! I will raise my kids to make sure they know this. God Bless you all.

I read his book several times and it is very motivational. Adam Brown's book as well, Fearless, is in my top 3 favorite books of all time. We can learn a lot from the SEAL Teams, a great deal of their mottos I instill in my children. God bless this man, his family and the TEAMS. 🇺🇸

Yes, actually before Marcus got on Seal Team 10 he used to be on the same Seal Team as Chris Kyle. They both went to each others book release and are very close friends due to the fact that the both are from Texas.
