Ok so the reason why people are talking about scath and aoko is because lore wise in fgo scath is literally an aoko face, which is mentioned in one of her bond profiles. The most I see that is unironically when she uses her NP and that’s it lol, other than that I don’t see it in her normal art.
summer Skadi ascension 1 and Aoko's first
Imma do a quick lil lore drop of what I know. So Aoko is actually a pretty big deal in the wider Nasuverse, she’s the one that inherited the fifth magic. Lemme expand and mention that magic and magecraft are two very different extremes. Magecraft in an offensive manner is akin to a handgun. Versatile, easy to use (for most mages,) and gets the job done…
True magic, which is what Aoko has, is like an ICBM. Magicians are insanely powerful and Aoko is no exception with the domain of her magic being the manipulation of time. We don’t know exactly how far that manipulation can go, but if I remember right, she was able to move an event from one point in a person’s timeline to another. (Anyone who has more context on that, feel free to correct me.)
Tl;dr: Aoko’s absolute insanity in lore.
To provide more context, she moved a close friend of hers death waaaaay into the future while also borrowing that friend's time to temporarily age herself 10 years so she became extremely strong and more experienced.
So yea, Aoko is busted.
Her kit is so versatile and complicated that it's somewhat hard to find all her use cases. But when she works she works really well. I'm glad they made such a unique servant and didn't just resort to more 3 turn farming looper. This means she won't step on other servants shoes and can be used in a variety of different team comps.
Honestly, her main weakness is just that she fundamentally isn't a TA servant, but she instead is a really broken midrange CQ servant that can carry an entire team with her to the finish line one way or another with her busted lineup of supportive skill. if you don't particularly care about minturning, she is ridiculously fun to use
the problem is people spamming “shes broken” when she just isnt.
When people say Aoko looks like Scathach they are referring to their bunny girl outfits.
or summer Skadi ascension 1 and Aoko first
No, it's their hair, they had the same hairstyle and also similiar color.
To me, I don't see the Scathach resemblance. I do see the Skadi resemblance because they both have kinder features in their faces. Scathach is almost always stern with her facial expressions.
I just wish that she had that white shirt and blue jean outfit, its so simple but also fit her so well
I love the proto Rin. Aoko is such great and strong character.
I feel the same about I shall survive using poitions. The anime was made so childlish. But the manga and novel are gold
Aoko Aozaki uses the Fifth magic. That makes her one of the strongest in the entire fate series.
She took 5 minutes and threw it into the future causing the heat death of the universe using the 5th magic
Goetia's Ars Almadel Salomonis uses a FRACTION of the fifth and we saw what that did. A FRACTION!
AoE face cards are the reason I now want her and summer BB. I sure hope NA server doesn't get an EoS before her release here
Super Orion with Super Aoko buster card 😩
sooo... where zelrech
He's two CEs already
I didn’t know Aoko was a fan of T-posing and worshiped Rome, the most beautiful city of humanity, as well as being the teacher of a Celtic dog
Mages sure are weird, huh
Can’t believe they added Limbus resource mechanics to an FGO servant. Wonder if this is indicative of more complex character designs with stack management in the future…
1:35 I am glad you noticed too and I am surprised no one else called it out too
If you want to see more of resemblance, go look at Aoko's designs in Witch on the Holy Night (her face is rounder in Fate/Grand Order, for whatever reason).
Finally got he np2 today, she's really fun, prob will be my fav servant
Oh, I'm looking alright.
Losing that Buster when going Super hurts because her Buster is AoE
In my opinion what hurts the most is her Buster and Extra Attack having the damage cut in half. I know it's AOE, but taking 50% of the card damage is going too far
Yeah, and like, even with the append 50% you'd think it would make up for her lack of normal dmg on the extra....While it is cool and aoe works good on buster crits...the extra's feel super weak. Sure mine is only np1 but from what I have seen even at np3 her aoe extra's are still weak
Her 50% cut gets offset by a single magic bullet. And yes her damage does have a tendency to fall off a bit on her extra. But let me tell you that it has the potential to hit like a noble phantasm with stocking up on magical bullets.
@@Swonestonethat's not how the math works, with a single magic bullet she does to 75% instead of 50
Ok serious question: how do servants get a body? The people who existed in history have a body and I get it. Since Akasha has all kinds of records it can also have records of the past and of the said servant. But what about fictional servants? Where do they get their bodies? Like Artoria, or Cu Chullain?
Because Artoria and Cu and basically all mythologies are true in Nasuverse. It’s even a plot point that the Artoria got summoned in FSN are actual living Artoria at the end of her life got teleported to modern time (via contract with the world). So she can’t turn invisible/immaterial like other but also retain memories of events from FZ
Purely fictional servant still exist in fate verse but their case are like algamation of different stuffs. For example Kojiro Sasaki is a fictional legendary swordman made up by Musashi. So the Kojirou in FSN is actually just a random ghost of an unnamed dude who mastered the technique, because Kojirou doesn’t exist he was summoned and given the name Sasaki Kojirou instead
Anyway, the bodies of servants are made from mana so they can turn invisible (Artoria is exception). So for fictional servants they just get a new body similar to their fictional description.
@@NeinKyori but they are MYTHS and by definition cannot exist in reality. So how the fuck does a mythical character get a body? No matter how well a character is described it's just impossible to give it a physical body. Like how do you know artoria had a face like that? How do you know if she had a light skin colour? For that matter her skin could be even whiter. As for Cu, why is his clothing like that? Why is it blue? Or a tight suit? It could be a loose garment.
@@yesman7675 Again, mythology are REAL events in nasuverse
There was a Cu Chulainn who lived in Ireland in the past. There was a King Arthur who lived in Britain
As for fictional servants like Kojirou, a body is made from mana based on description of their legends
Shirou Emiya power is literally creating physical sword from imagination (copy existing one is better but he can actually made original stuffs like his bow).
So obviously a nigh-omnipotent grail can do much better, like creating physical body of fictional character based on descriptions in legend.
@@NeinKyori ah okay. You mean to say that Artoria and Cu actually existed in the nasuverse so they've got their physical bodies? Makes sense. The servantverse servants however...
Aoko's Aoko's...
Who would you say is dead, aside from Jekyll?
Broke: aoe face cards foreshadows summonable u-olga marie
Woke: aoe facecards fireshadows summonable solomon/goetia (cope)
Ironically, Aoko is useless in multicore as she’s married to a kscope.
I have no idea who she is. If she’s already taken, then I’m staying away. Cute tho
She’s not taken.
She’s obsessed with Souji though. Not in a romantic way just kinda obsessed still.
I think she’s good, just also balanced out by there not being many servants that can utilize her to her full potential. Koyanskaya can only buff her one buster, Artoria caster seems good but can’t help with skill cooldowns. Best servant to work is herself at the moment.
You CAN lock her into using her aoe buster card, but you’ll have to stamp which one will stay the same with command codes. If we get more characters with skill cooldown reduction that should help a lot.
I’ve been running her with Koyan and Castoria, it works decently well. Merlin might be a good partner for stall tactics too
I feel like Tamamo could help with cool downs.
Meh. I don't really see it. Feels too gimmicky and would rather use someone else to accomplish the same things with less hassle. She is cute though.
Imma pass on this chick.
I don’t know Jack shit about her character and her kit doesn’t particularly interest me
Good luck to anyone rolling for her though
She’s the prototype of Rin. But being a magician means she has access to powerful magic. She uses the fifth magic, true magic.
@@alexanderlowery1471
Neat, still passing on the Gacha though.
@@Alexzander1989I beg you to actually play Nasuverse games.
