- Опубликовано: 3 авг 2024
- These are a few minimalist life habits that help me keep an organized physical space and a clutter-free mental space, even though I'm not an extreme minimalist by any means! I have plenty I need to work on cough my closet *cough*, but the small habits that I currently have in place make a big difference.
I wanted to challenge myself this week to make a video that is b-roll only to make it more engaging, and I really like how it turned out! Let me know if you like this slightly different format :)

Well that is the first person I have heard say unsubscribe if you are not getting what you need from her channel. She also never ask for you to like and subscribe. Was refreshing. I think at this point people know how to subscribe and like.
The Bliss Bean Totally! I really appreciated that. I'm new to your channel, and hearing you say that had me hit subscribe. You seem like a very humble person. ☺️
Jen agree. This is the first video of her that i’ve watched the fact that she doesn’t ask you to subscribe makes you more curious
I've heard one one more channel say it, shes the coolest
i love the fact that she doesn’t say it!! it’s so unnecessary and most people subscribe only when they want to
couldn't have said it better myself.
THANK YOU! You can be a “minimalist” without having that stereotypical minimalist aesthetic. Minimalism is all about having things that have meaning to you, but not so much that it is hindering your life. A clear mind equals a clear space, and that looks differently for everyone!
True.
i think minimalism is also about having the minimum of items that make your life work. for instance, if you like baking and you do so often, you probably need several baking trays. however, maybe you don't really like cooking, or you don't cook as often, and instead, you have 1 pot, 1 pan, and 1 saucepan and it's enough for you, despite having 10 different baking trays. i dislike it when people suggest there's just 1 way of being a minimalist, and suggest that having a limited and set number of any item is the way to go, because they don't know the needs of each household where hobbies and interests extend past makeup, skincare and reading.
@@TheBlissBean Speaking of stationery and journaling, some people feel they can organize their thoughts better if they use several agendas, planners or notebooks. Others feel that 1 or 2 of those are more than enough. But this is because the brains are wired differently. My concern is what do i do with the used agendas/notebooks... Like, i don't want to throw them away because they have stuff that used to be important to me. I guess i can keep them until old age, and then use them to make fire, or instead of TP ;p
hear hear. I am always a bit shocked to see those white rooms, without any pictures, paintings or COLOUR anywhere. Why is everything greige, from the bedding to the kitchen? To each their own, but clinical does not calm my mind.
I love how realistic your minimalism is instead of the all-white, empty space we've taught to believe in.
It's all about the things you value and keeping things in place that makes it less is more.❤
I totally agree with the “more friends” part. It does feel better when my feed is for the things that I care about
exactly! i just wish people wouldnt take offense to being deleted, many times (for me) its not that i delete people as a Frak you but i jsut dont communicate with them via that, its rarely personal, but some people forget that high school is OVER lol and that i have their phone number...

2 tide computer files (ss, photos)
3 uniform morning/night routine (incr mental space by making routines you don’t need to think about)
4 updating budget daily (keeps things accurate)
5 keep important papers in one place, review and toss unnecessary papers
6 toss items from your past
7 permanent vs. in transit/incomplete items (file away all in transit items into one in transit tray.)
8 cut down list of people you follow
9 tidy as you go (put things away as you use them)
10 do less (reach a level where you like what/how much you’re doing, keep things simple)
Thanks
Thank you. I'm glad that I'm at least doing 5 and 9 frequently 😶
her: I cringe everytime I see someone have unopened emails. me: has over 6,000
Nadine same....
When you have 1,300...
Nadine my mom has more then 70,000
My work email I stay on top of, but my personal email is a mess. I only open what's important and leave everything else unread. Do you know how much time I would waste every day opening every single email? 😂 I ain't got time for that.
just so you know : having that much emails has a real impact on carbon emission !! not trying to be moralistic or something but it is a fact, google it :)
You'll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine. Habit will sustain you whether you're inspired or not. Successful people are simple those with successful habits. We get to reach where we are now because of what we constantly do productively each day.
This advice is inspired by John C Maxwell, Octavia Butler, and Brian Tracy whom I really look up to. This is not from me but I strongly agree with their statement that's why I want to share it with other people. I give full credit to these motivational speakers. I'm really sorry to not have stated this previously. Spread love guys. ❤ Always keep safe!
Happy Forever Inc. ok dude it’s fine , the person’s just told the fact and there’s nothing wrong with that. About crediting people , it’s not that a big deal nowadays.😅
@@nithyasreesathyanarayanan5611 I am a fashion designer. I certainly DON'T want anyone copying my original style without my permission and without giving back credit to me. If everyone is like you thinking that it's not a big deal then I will lose my job. Crediting people is very important because this helps me to keep my job and my income. Don't be selfish and please give credit back to the original creator whoever he/she might be. As a fashion designer, I honestly don't agree with your point of view here, and I believe no one does because not giving credit back to the original designer is just universally wrong, so I think you really do get paid to defend Cass & Bran's plagiarism.
Happy Forever Inc. how much time did you spend on all of these comments put together
(An estimate)
F.B.I. How much money did you get paid from Cass & Bran to write this comment here??
@Happy Forever Inc. bruh its not a big deal chill tf. She said sorry. Get a life
Did I just find a fellow minimalist youtuber who is also an army 😻👋🏻
Omg this is so awesome 😭😭😭
Aaaaaarmyyyy
Yaaaaass
was looking in the comments to see if i was the only one who saw that
Yes^^
I'm always trying to get my life together and sometimes when I search for inspirational videos they just seem too movie like to me, like they are just doing all of those things for views, but actually yours just showed up on my for you page and I was like, lets give it a go, and I actually enjoy it so much, thank you. You just kept things so simple that just told me that I can make those little changes to try to help with my anxiety
I’m so happy that you don’t only surround yourself with neutrals. I have been practicing minimalism for 3 years now and I have never gone grey
If you are interested in minimalism and thought-provoking videos, you might enjoy my channel as well 🌿
Hahaha. People always say that I throw away 2 much. I had this major declutter few times already and I'm finally reaching a point when I feel like I can start my minimalistic journey.
I really want to focus on quality over quantity idea now. Getting one pair of expensive, long lasting pants sounds so much more satisfying than getting few crapy quality pants from New Yorker/H&M.
Also this helped me a lot with my unhealthy obsession with make up😊
As someone who is ‘attempting’ to step into my minimalistic journey, this just really summed up why! Quantity over quantity 🙏
I feel like I’m like you! Minimalism is different for everyone. I use to buy tons of phone cases, candles, shop a sale just because, bought clothes I didn’t need and etc. I got rid of it all. I still buy those things, but I have two candles, 4 phone cases (one is a charging case) 5 pairs of shoes, and I think my clothing is minimalistic 😂 minimalism has made me happier. However, I’m going to take a page from your book and do some email clear out. I’m terrible at cleaning out my emails. Work and personal emails. 🙈
this is absolutely my favorite video
Honestly, I think we're on the same page right it's is so refreshing. Also, I've been mentally thinking of the concept of fixed and in transit items. It helps me tidy and manages my tasks. It sounds like a book I'd read. Great video!
The moment i saw cooky i'm like "let's be friends"
same
number ten is definitely what i need to work on, since starting uni ive gone through a period of exploration trying new societies meeting new people going new places and i feel that those are things that i will continue to do but i need to scale it back and cut out what isn't the best for me.
I just decluttered my wardrobe a week ago and it felt so good I continued in my room. Had a lot to throw away. Thank you for your tips and tricks ! Btw this style of video making is really nice. I enjoyed watching this one as every one before, but now with the voiceover you get like so much more info. Well done girl !
This is probably the best description of minimalism I've seen. It's so clear that everything you do is to make you happy and to create more value in your life rather than create an aesthetically pleasing space to collect more likes and subscribers. Thank you for being yourself!
"BTS tour expenses" 👀👀👀
when
I heard that😍
Literally same 😂
The most realistic and genuine advice on minimalism I have heard to date. Clearly done a lot of learning and realization. I was always interested but scared away from minimalism because the style and decor just really wasn't me. I always felt like, when I tried adopting it, that I lost my personality and a sense of who I was. I like to have a variety of clothing because my style constantly rotates. I'm also more alternative/gothic so there's a lot of things I wear and use that don't really appear 'minimal'. But I too have come to realize that it's the mindset that matters - not that you only own 3 white tshirts, a black poloneck, a pair of beige shoes, a bamboo toothbrush and one potted plant. So refreshing to here you say this. I feel like i can really start pursing this now without feeling like I'm completely changing who I am.
Woooow your skin looks so Good! Could you film a skin care routine? ☺️ Inspirational Video ✨
This is the first video I've seen from your channel and can i just say, what amazing aesthetics! The content is so darn accurate, relat-able and engrossing! Love it. good luck ;)
Yeeees!! I'm glad I've found you!! I always felt weird about being interested in minimalism at my short age, but now there are no regrets at all 🙌❤
Letting sentimental items go is kinda hard for me. But thinking about your statement that letting them means you can move and filling your life with new beautiful memory make me rethinking to sort them off 💖
That was such a beautiful video! I do clean my downloads every 2 weeks or so, and yes it helps me feel more clean and organized. I love your vibe and how honest you are. Keep going!
Thank you : I enjoyed this. Nothing revolutionary, but well composed (in the visuals and philosophy) and down to earth.
I love your humble and sweet approach to minimalism! :)
I loved this video! I share your view about minimalism because at the end of the day, every step we take to feel mentally better is still something we should celebrate. Minimalism and mind clarity are journeys and most importantly, they are personal.
I find your attitude refreshing. Minimalism is subjective, and a journey that is different for everyone.
Immediate subscribe, your voice is calming and i can tell you’ve worked so hard for making your life how it is. You are a beautiful person! Thank you for sharing your life through media
4:22, who else puts tape over their computer camera? 😭😭😭😭😂😂😂
got to hide from the fbi 🙈
Me? Lol
What a brilliant idea!!
The camera in my gaming laptop doesnt work so I am kinda lucky lol
this is absolutely amazing! I have been interested in minimalism for a long time and the last couple of weeks I decided I really want to go for it. I have been cleaning up, thinking about what kind of changes I want to make, but I don’t think I could ever be a minimalist with like 15 pieces of clothing and this video really made me think: but you don’t have to be such a minimalist. Thank you for that, because that is something I need to stay motivated. Love from the Netherlands.
Just found your channel today, I'm really impressed by the quality and advices you give!
I love that freeing mindset you have. I do too and try to apply it to every aspect of my life, but sometimes find it hard. Might sound random, but you motivate me to be more creative and to write more music and just get it done rather than want to do it ✌🏼
This is a great way to start a year! 😊
Thank you for this video 🥰🤗
I really appreciate your wisdom & your journey. It's real. Your young & I admire your thoughtful mindset. Your way ahead of most people...including me @ your age. Keep on fighting the good fight.
Thanks girl. This really helped me. It’s good to see a young person like me doing great things 💖
*me still having pencils and toys from 8 years ago*
same
It’s so hard to just throw them away.
Girl, you are amazing!!!! Absolutely!! You've given me so much inspiration and motivation right now!!! This is the first video I watched on your channel and I already love you!!! Thank you for everything you do!!
You’re so mature for being such a young lady. It’s amazing.
What a good video! You deserve so much more visibility and I'm sure it will come! Thanks for your excellent work, you reflect exactly what you develop. it's always a nice (and relaxing) time watching your videos :) keep going ✨
First video I’ve seen from you and WOW just WOW, I subscribe
This video is so good! I journaled while you were talking and will definitely do some of the things you told.
Thank you! Your video really helped me and I really like your style, your vibration.
So good, one of the first videos I have seen where OP tells to delete the used work. I find that so important, same as: every night after work delete your temporary files and clear your cache. The temp files can bloat your PC with dead weight so quickly.
Your videos are always so beautifully done.
This inspired me in so many ways!! 💕
I just discovered you the other day and loooove your content - you’re such a likeable person!!
thank you very much for the video! so good :)
Phenomenal, inspirational and insightful! TYSM Queen! Keep up the good work :))
Thank you so much for the helpful information in this video, I definitely plan to implement some of these tips into my daily life.
Omg your video is just sooo perfect from shooting till editing man~~
You are such a source of inspiration.
You know what, this video is so calming, so refreshing and so encouraging. Thank you very much for the work you do. You bless so many people. I am a mother of a tiny baby and our lives definately look very different (I didn't realize how much life actually changes when having kids until I got one myself) but I can still get inspiration and just a positive vibe from your videos. I must also say, I hoooooooope that if you one day will have children yourself, will continue to do RUclips, casue I think your tips will be very much needed by many mothers....
Love these tips! I have been wanting to start making small changes in my lifestyle to become more minimal and this was the perfect video. Thank you :)
this video is SO well done!!
This video has inspired the beginning of my minimalism journey. Thank you so much
this is a first video i watched from you and oh! so nice! so refreshing! many good vibes. thank you
the in transit tray is such a good idea! my biggest issue is mess: even though i don’t own a lot of things it still seems to get so messy in my room every week and eventually it gets to a point where i have no idea how it got so bad. Thanks for the idea :)
gracias por cada cosa que enseñas. Me gusta este tipo de contenido, lo encuentro bastante inspirador, eres de las pocas personas en YT que consumo constantemente porque encuentro verdadera utilidad en lo que haces. Gracias, gracias, gracias.
Nice insights. Thank you, you're such an inspiration 😊
Girl!! I just found you and I was captivated by the whole video!!!😍 Your film skills and shots and angles are perfection!!!
Wow! I didn’t even realize that I already do most of these! This is such an amazing video, and it’s really inspired me 🥰
Thank you
I love your practical, down-to-earth and relaxed attitude. I'm glad you're not one of those people who strive to put out only picture-perfect, Instagram-worthy images of minimalism. You can adopt and tweak minimalism practices any way you want and it's great that a young person like yourself understands that.
In this quarantine days ...Thank God ... Some videos like U is there which very good to watch ... Stay safe .. I completely can relates U ..
Helpful video. Loys of key takeaways and was easy to make my own. Thanks for sharing

Hello! I just discover you, and I must admit this video inspired me so much! It 's not just the things you say, but also your aesthetic! 🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿
Thank you for this. When I first read about minimalism, I wanted to do it right away but I struggle to. I always want to keep things specially when it has memories. But I grow older, I'm starting to learn to let go. And this video inspire me even more to just keep going! More power to you!
@@TheBlissBean yaaayy! Thank youuu!

dang you really have helped me and I am definitely looking up to you for advice from now on because this is the most educational lifestyle youtube video I have actually watched in a while so thanks!
@@TheBlissBean no problem
Thanks for sharing, I like your mindset on minimalist habits. I was telling my friend last week that I have things that I really love and enjoy regularly and then other things that I either forget about or just really don’t seem to like much. I plan to start clearing out all the things in my room that really just take up space and stress me out.🤪
Anyways, have a nice weekend!💖☀️
Thank you for sharing us your journey towards minimalism
Wow this video really help me out✨ i keep many things and then i have like cero space, and this video help me clear out my mind🦋
I just really need to say this: YOUR SKIN IS HELLA GLOWING GIRL!!✨✨

This was much needed, thank you!
These were so unique and helpful for me!!
You are my big inspiration💛💛💛
Well this was super refreshing! First minimalist video that does not make me feel bad for small changes I have made. Most videos are like "no you have not done enough. you must own almost nothing"
Thank you for the inspiration! ...I think I am good at throwing away things I don`t need, but very bad at decluttering my mind.
Omggg I've reading Sapiens tooo ain't it like the best most mind-opening book everrr🥺🥺❤️❤️
Made me smile, hope everybody is having an amazing day/night/afternoon!
