I was at RFK for.that Monsters of Rock show. I was on the field right around where the fires were burning. The Scorpions were amazing - it was the 2nd of 4 times that I saw them. The first was on my 17th birthday at the Capital Center in 1984. I also got to see Van Halen at the same venue in 84.
I also went to the monsters of rock concert when it stopped in buffalo NY back in 88. And yes I concur, the scorpions stole that show as well. I bet they stole that whole tour. 🦂🎸🤘
