Thanks for the review this helped in my decision on which watch to go with. One question though, the S62 brightness seems way lower than the S70.. did you have them both at the same level?

it looiks that way - however the s62 in the sun looks much brighter- i was surprised by this because indoors it can seem dark

Hi! This is a great question because I don't my camera/sun out did justice for the S70. The S62 I had it on max brightness while the S70 I had on the lowest setting (to conserve battery). Back when I was using the S62, I thought the screen was really good in the sun. I can confidently say that the S70 looks exceptional in the sun with it's brilliant colours, significantly improved over the S62. My only gripe is that the screen doesn't stay on entirely (goes into a faded mode) while golfing. My friend's have the S62 and you can notice the difference immediately.
What did you end up deciding with?

The S62 screen was great at the time, but now that I've had the S70 for some time, I'm glad I made the upgrade. While the S62 is still an amazing watch, side by side you can see the S62 is a bit "hazy" and not vibrant like the S70. Agreed, indoors it is darker but still clearly visible ;)

What Watch face are you using with your S62? Thanks in advance

Hello! For the S70, I’m using one of the default watch faces. If you select watch faces on setting, scroll to about the middle options. I customized the colours.
For the S62 I used a custom watch face by using the Garmin IQ app.

You missed out the most important difference. S70 is an AM OLED panel while S62 is a cheap LCD. While both are overpriced(as Garmins usually are) S62 pricing is ridicuous with that cheap crap LCD. Doesnt even seem like it's IPS seems to be TN or VA. Apple watch / Galaxt watch have been using OLED since 5 years ago at even lower price. BTW, I had/have both.
