Love it. 200 yards, and it recommends a PW when you want to hit 5i. The virtual caddie is basically saying, "You're not that guy!" When you stop playing hero golf the scores are better. This solidified that I need this watch to remind me to play more conservatively. Thx.
What is interesting too is that it tell you on the watch where the ball will land knowing you to help you set up the next shot. Something that I would not do and then proceed to play hero golf
If you ever make another video and are up for a 3 hole comparison, you should hit a provisional off of the tee to see how your original ball would play vs how the caddy tells you to play. I'm curious how that would turn out and that'd be an awesome video! You'd definite need to go when it's completely empty outside.
I'd be deleting all club data and start again. Also, what I do is put in a few extra shot options as a selectable club (chip, punch shot, mishit, bunker shot etc) so if you do duff a shot etc it won't throw off your club distance
This is my first smart / fitness / health watch... EPIX PRO I just ordered this watch in sapphire cause i am an avid golfer.....its was a huge selling point for me,, plus i wanted an everyday smart / health / sports watch all in one...lookin forward to getting it.....great video....cheers from Canada
That is awesome. I wear this watch everyday. I am actually on a trip right now and left it at home and am wearing the Fenix 6 and I already miss this watch. It is so much more than a gold watch. Thank you for your comment I hope you subscribe and join our community
I don't understand. The premise of your video was to use Garmin's Caddie and hit all the shots it says to hit and then through the video you decide not to. The 3 hybrid / 9 iron was confusing. The it says to hit a gap wedge and you hit a 9 iron. Next it says pitching wedge and you hit a 7 iron. What was the point of the video?
I bought the Garmin S62 golf smartwatch, but when I plug in the connection cable, it keeps asking me to unplug and replug the S62. The setup was an ASUS ROG laptop with Windows 10. Even after unplugging and plugging the cable in again, the device is not recognized, and the S62 keeps spinning. Then I switched to the S70 47mm watch, also on the ASUS ROG, but changed to Windows 11, and the same thing happened! No matter how much I unplug and plug it in, it just keeps spinning. The S62 doesn't work on Windows 10, and the S70 keeps spinning on Windows 11. It seems that it's an issue with ASUS and Windows 10/11 compatibility.
Did you properly setup your data first before you made this test? Also, the watch takes into consideration your dispersion/lengths/accuracy… underestimating maybe due to your history?
Did you pair the CT10’s and play with that combo? Also, what if you have an R10 and accumulate much more data from the range within the Garmin golf ecosystem? Would that give you a major jump on training the virtual caddie?
Yes. I had the CT10 from my S62 set that I got earlier this year. It took 5 minutes to pair and it was good to go. I love it! I think it does give you a major jump on the virtual caddie because it the data is more accurate for each club
I love how you start the video saying you're going to do everything it says....and by shot 3 you proceed to do whatever you feel like regardless of what it says lol
The Garmin S70 is a nice golf watch but there isn’t anything special about it. It has a lot of wow features but after several rounds of use, I don’t use any of the features other than distance to hazards and the green. The virtual caddie is a complete joke and the wind adjustment is questionable at best. It’s hard to recommend this golf watch to anyone at its current price point. Garmin should include the green contour feature that currently has an annual fee of $100 which is not worth it. The green contour feature should be included with the watch or $25 annually.

I have experienced this as well.

Seriously, opening line" were going to hit everything it says" first hole nope
Same thing here… you start off by saying I am going to do everything it says and then proceed to do everything else but that 😂

Pretty sure you can move that little box on the map. And that will then change your club choice prompt
The AI Caddie feature is awesome!
Yeah it is pretty sick. At first I was Lille heat its t but after a few holes I was blown away

lol, I know,
Sounds not always the best recommendations from the watch.
At first I thought that too, but by the end I realized this watch knows my golf game better than me
No Watch can save you. Thanks for the review
Very true
