    When mine just had gdemu it showed all my games but when I converted to open menu, only 8 games showed up on the menu. Any idea why it does this? I went through the open menu conversion program that sets up the card all properly.

      Didn't I already reply to this? Did you delete your original comment?
      First, make sure you're 100% positive you followed my video to a tee. You must be using the latest version of openMenu and the card manager.
      I asked if openMenu was displaying the first eight games, or just eight random games. If it's displaying the first eight, then this suggests you have a problematic disc image on your card.

    it's like you read my mind. was sifting through the Openmenu thread and wondered what RC1 was looking like, I assume this is it. Had seen that Megavolt had mentioned virtual folders which I'm curious of. I'm considering getting rid of my MODE as now Megavolt has implemented VM2 support into this and TO seem to have abandoned the MODE a GDEMU doesn't seem like the worst idea but I do like my folder setup on my MODE as things are infinitely more organised than just 1 big blob of games to scroll through.

    Hi!
    I see you have all the game covers. Could you please share the BOX.DAT and META.DAT files? I don't have a few covers (Death Crimson 2) even though I have the official latest .DAT files
    Regards

      Here's a crude instruction guide I wrote for a friend. Teaches you how to add your artwork.

      @@derekpascarella It worked! Great guide! I had to buy a new computer with Windows 11. On the previous one (with Windows 7), .NET Desktop Runtime 5 was no longer supported. I was about to give up and stick with the regular gdMenu, but platform games-lovers never give up! Thanks a lot!

      If you're using the latest version of openMenu, just press B once you have the disc image selected. A prompt will appear letting you load that game with CodeBreaker.

    is there any other way to return to openmenu after selecting a game besides abxy-start which resets the whole console? like going back to menu directly without resetting is what im asking. thanks

    • @derekpascarella
      @derekpascarella  5 месяцев назад

      ABXY+Start is the only way. Sitting through the boot sequence again isn't really that bad, is it?

      @@derekpascarella just wanted to be sure. I think it makes perfect sense to make a return to menu function.

    Porque es tan complicado agregar portadas, tengo todos los juegos con sus portadas japonesas (que a mi punto de vista son las mejores) pero no me las detecta, ahora estoy buscando la herramienta openMenu DAT editor pero no me deja ingresar el portal... dios porque es tan complicado

    what’s the difference between this and gdemu menu? i have the gdemu menu on mine

      Openmenu is still in active development. Has built-in cheat engine and vm2 auto switch support, atomiswave ROMs support and most important is open source so basically even if megavolt85 or mrneo420 drop developing it still will be possible for someone to continue their work. Gdmenu development was dropped a few years ago and it stuck at version 0.6
