I just passed that food cart pod where Bari is last night and considered stopping in to check out the place. Didn't have enough time though. Not too far from where I live and now I need to go just to check out this passionate chef's art. Edit: that was Nduja! I have never had it and wanted to try it (yes, I do follow Pasta Grammar lol.) Now it is for sure. That man is getting a visit from me very soon.
As an Oregonian, I am so thankful you are showcasing the food trucks. Downtown Portland used to be so nice. We would go on school field trips to downtown Portland. Now adays... you kinda wanna steer clear of the downtown area. AMAZING food though. I hope you enjoyed your time in our City of Roses! (Edit: If you're still in the area I'd highly recommend checking out food trucks in Oregon City. Many local breweries have an outside sitting area with amazing food trucks that cycle through. Oregon City Brewing Co. has Koko’s Seoul Food most of the week. Amazing Korean food for a great price. Check it out! And keep Portland weird)
9:42 - OMG.. that chicken is RAW!! RAW!!!! How did you not see that and continued eating it??? Chef Ramsey would be screaming at that truck.. IT's RAW... You DONKEY... RAW!!!!!!!!
Mikey, you need to go back and try PDX Dönerland in NE, and there are so many other amazing places! One of the reasons I really miss Portland is the food! I lived there on and off 10 years.. my car was stolen and never recovered last time I was there in 2021. I use to work a MAC’D on SE McLoughlin. Thank you for finally showcasing some of Portland’s amazing food carts!
If you like those waffles...you need to try the Belgian waffles from the state fair of Texas...those are the airiest waffles you will ever eat! Best strawberry waffles ever..
Never known any who describes the food they eat so well. He's such an an expert at it. And has one of the biggest appetites. If you wanna know how food taste with eating it, this is the guy to watch
I lived in Portland for a year and labeled it the foodie Paris of the Great Northwest. Low key, one of the best food cities in the country rivaling Chicago, Austin, New York and others.
@@CharlieBrownstudies Unfortunately our city is ruined by drugs and homelessness. The food is good....but now you always look to see if the cook is covered in scabs.
Wow your in Portland I'm in Portland, thank you truck food never seen it, since, bill and Lisa went there...when your going back PDX, I work there.hope to see ya, big fan...love your Japanese 🍙🍙🍙 trip, I'm half Japanese..be safe

@neogalt2775 no shame on mike it's his job to eat as much as possible....but like 17.99 for that one plate...like...I can buy 2 large pizzas for that price.
@amsb4dafunk558 Definetly. After covid everyone just kept raising prices anyways....what can we do about it. Luigi Mangione started it,hope America can finish it.
@@xXCigarXx Don't disagree with you and know it's his job and a biz expense. I always get a kick out of the amount of food he can put down. But for the average guy, different story, LOL.
How did you survive out of Seattle to make it to Portland, especially with your car still on 4 wheels? You must be packing walking around the ghetto streets of Portland since you weren’t robbed, múřdeřèð, nor kidnapped. People in the comments are so ridiculous.
as a slav, so cool to see slavic food in these types of videos -- feel like slavic food never gets the rep it deserves lol
Portland is my favorite city in the country. Mainly due to the food and beer selections.
I love the interviews with the owners as well

Man,I thought food carts were supposed to be cheap.
He only spent $222 for lunch, dinner and then breakfast the next day. Mikey-sized meals.😂

In
The Bay Area

For half the amount of food

Very expensive, and abusive
