This one my favourite too, but need to say, Capoiera not only best BBC Rhythm and Movement (or Dancers) ident, it's one of best BBC ident ever and even on a par with BBC Balloon idents! I like how they use guitar music there, that why it so relaxing, classic guitar has always been a relaxing musical instrument. It's only my opinion though.
The later BBC Oneness idents just cannot match to how good this logo really is. The BBC Oneness idents and the Covid-19 socially distanced variants are just boring, even though one of them DID make a reference to the 2002 - 2006 idents, which was a surprise when I found that out. However, the BBC should at some point bring back the Rhythm and movement idents, they have a lot more movement and action going on, unlike the present idents. I'm glad that this ident is your favourite, as well as mine! Are you a logo fan like me? I hope to hear back from you very soon!
@@joelharris1335 Oneness idents shows that how not to save on design of channel, I am really want Oneness to be ditched in 2021, but BBC probably don't care about it. Even if some idents have movements (probably the exception in Oneness set) that doesn't change the fact that Oneness is terrible and just a ripoff of Rhythm and Movement. It's will be a cool idea if BBC temporary return the Balloon like they brought back 1991-2001 set on BBC Two in 2015, just imagine: balloon flies across the UK in Full HD or even in 4K. Yeah, I'm some sort of logo fan. I really like to watching how logos or idents change over time, it's just like a history but a bit different.
I agree with getting rid of the Oneness idents once and for all! For people who are interested in TV logos like you and me, they have nothing much going on and they are pretty boring to be honest. Having the Balloon in either Full HD or 4K would be a great idea. That would really show the BBC is a worldwide orgainsation and it would also be a great way to represent the company. Bringing back the Rhythm and Movement idents would also be a good idea, this would make people want to get off the sofa and getting moving. Also, having the Capoeira ident done in either Full HD or 4K would be even better - it could go very well with the relaxing music and the City of London skyline.
I don't think this set of idents are bad, it's just that it doesn't quite fit BBC One, especially coming after the atmospheric Balloon idents. If this was used in BBC Two, it would have faced less backlash.

This has to be the best BBC One dance idents! Not only the calm and relaxing music, the London skyline as the backdrop certainly gave me memories!
