    Beautiful work! Subscribed. Quench tank in the wood working area under a table is an interesting choice though I must say.

    You're going against the grain when you're using your draw knife. That spoke shave would be better also you can do bevel down with your straw knife and take finer cuts.

      Great observation, maybe if he would've used the knife on the opposite side of the handle and made the palm swell on the side he used the knife he wouldn't have had that problem. Sometimes you have to read the wood. Although it's a bit tricky. Paul Sellers has good tips on how to read the grain.
