    Awesome Job. Unfortunately it will not work on 4.27. Basic Foot IK System in UE marketplace is a good alternative if you're on 4.27. It works well combined with ALS mounting system as well as others.

      Just a heads up to everyone, it doesn't work in UE5 because Power IK isn't compatible with it yet

      you haven´t change the collision channel to IK channel. I had the same problem and this fixed it.

    I have watched videos in the past that go into TOO MUCH detail about all the exact math, like two 20 minute segments to get just basic foot IK. Idk how you managed to cram this all into 9 minutes, but your amazing!

    when the character stands on the slope of the dune and faces the higher side, the knee turns inwards in a strange way... any ideas how to fix this? Greetings!

      @@CYPHERNATURE Yes you uncheck the rotate feet to ground checkbox.

    If someone after tutorial have the character floating in the air, try to set "ignore" on "CharacterMesh" in the collision preset of the new IK collision that you have created for this tutorial ;)

      I DID IT BUT STILL FLOATING. I USE PARAGON CHARACTER SO THE ABP IS DIFFERENT FROM THE EXAMPLE.PLEASE HELP

      @@TolisPiperas82 Check the Static Foot Offset below Offset Feet Position, by default it offsets the feet by 4 but setting it to 1 seemed about right too me.

      @@KaitheArtGuy This video uses Power IK which is fairly outdated. I would suggest looking one up on Foot IK using Control Rig.

      I fixed this, putting IK channel default response to ignore, then on blockAll and blockAllDynamic set IK to block.

      @@jd-foo Yeah its a shame too. This is one of the biggest issues I have with Epic games. Setting this shit up in UE5 without this plugin takes so long, you can find hour long tutorials on it when it was easier before to just use this node. Its rediculous

    Great plugin, you have any idea how to fix the bugs though? The leg bends oddly when one foot is on a flat surface and the other is still on the slope. It tends to do this at the top of slopes and stairs. Also it seems a bit jerky as well. You have to let the character sit there for a while before it does it but you'll notice the leg on the top flat surface will start swaying left to right and slightly inwards as it moves towards the character's center.

    If it doesn't work for you, make sure to enter the correct pelvis bone name in the character slot (for me it was hips) 5:23
