How to make a drone with DC motor

Attach a DC motors to a wooden frame, connecting them to a flight controller. Power the motors with a rechargeable battery, and add propellers for lift-your homemade drone is ready for flight!

@Yaeesh Yusra Of course. Since that battery was having some probs we connected it with electricity using the charger given with the battery . As it was our first time ,we had some trouble with connecting the wires of the motor with the jack. But after some time of hardwork ....it was a great success🙂

I tried this with a single jet engine. It was awesome! Had it lying around from my old Boeing 747. Thing went up above the clouds. Could you explain how to make a failsafe? Because I have one spare engine in my shed and don't want to lose that one also.

They are "wooden skewers" for "Shish kabobs". (Wal-mart, Target) Note look really close and you'll see tiny black threads holding the landing gear steady, so it does fly up and hit the wall and everywhere else, Lol.

It would have a better chance of half way flying, if you make an auto-gyro, with a working prop in front and one unpowered prop on top leaning slightly back about 5-10 degrees from horizontal. Then put a small rudder on the tail slightly angled also. Lookup autogyro. They've always caught attention at science gigs.

it works with the strings attached to it ;) I made similar things and actually it is just a motor with rpm at least 30 000 and a propeller and a good battery and that's it. To make it fly it needs more things like 4 motors and a esc and receiver etc.

a single motor wants to rotate in the opposite direction as you mentioned ;) this is why drones have 4 motors and turning in the opposite direction each pair of motors
