I used to install car stereos. This is a pain in the ass. (and I now own one of these)
don't forget to check the amp fuse under the hood next to the battery! 30amp fuse on mine.
Is it possible to isolate the CD player power from the radio power? My CD player is an aggressive parasitic draw, and I dont/wont use it any way. I have it rigged with a fuse switch which I have to remember to turn off each time I park for a few hours which erases presets, such a pain in the ass.
Thanks a lot... I have CDs stuck in my stereo. Will that cause a battery drain?

the factory amp doesn’t work well with aftermarket radios i took it out and hooked the wires up to a 4 channel amp

It's the wrong radio for the car. This model radio doesn't work with an amplifier. You will need a radio with cassette which will work with the amplifier.
