No one writes music like this at all anymore, smart melodies, complex chord changes.its amazing how dumb music has gotten these days,i wanna puke ....I've always wanted to learn this one along with" biggest part of me "and "your the only woman",thank you for this!!
Love your teaching style. Good personality. Fine taste in music ( Bad Co , ARS , etc ) Might be my favorite instructor on YT. Glad you used the acoustic on this. Thanks 👍🏻
Tonedr I have a year and half to go before I can retire. I have a guitar and I have been playing since mid 70's. I am going to have a lot of fun playing with plenty of time. Please stay fred up as you are in your music it really helps keeps life's challenges under control
Gotta agree on how well you did and presented-and that sweet walk down. My 16 yr old daughter has pretty much stolen my main guitar, but my backup might get tuned to an open chord she can fart around with behind these chords-very cool!
Dan McConnell really appreciate you checking this out and thanks for the very kind post - had to smile when you said your daughter has your guitar! Hope you both get plenty of playing time, your friend, dale.
great band for sure...i've pulled out of LLB, great several years being on the beginnings of it and core band but time to do some other things that i just didn't have time work working up that material.
Many thanks! What a beautiful song. They have a flawless live performance on RUclips from The Midnight Special (remember that show?) from olden times. Super talented group! Thank you for sharing this video.
Right on man! Exactly the right chords & bits to get this one correct even without keys. I had the "blocks" but not the nuances, darned pianists lol. Thank you very much! Your Collings sounds _wonderful_ btw..
Man U got ur Shit together!!!! Every one of your vids I watch for guitar instruction is so spot on!! I just go straight to ur vids now days cause there always right and well taught....Thanks and All the best.....J.
Thank you. What a great ear. You've even got the voicings down, too! To top it off, you teach the pretty fills at the end of the video. Nice job. Really.
I'm so sorry it took me so long to find this! Really nice job Dale! Really loving this on acoustic! That bass walk down on acoustic reminds me so much of "Lady" by the Little River Band (Not to be confused with YOUR River Band!) LOL Always a pleasure Dale! Thank you!
KP11520 haha! thanks for sharing music and visiting my channel - it is greatly appreciated and it's always great to hear from you! Hope all is good your way and keep on pickin! your friend, dale
Thanks for another amazing tutorial, I would like to ask your recommendation of your preference of acoustic guitar strings and set up. You have such a fantastic soothing tone. We all really enjoy everything you post!
+My1969chevelle hello friend...thanks so much for checking this out and i appreciate very much the kind post. I use Elixir Phosphor Bronze light gauge and a Wegen mando pick - both of which i feel helps 'darken' us an acoustic guitars tone. your friend, dale
I have an epiphone that has the same tone as your guitar. Of course bone nut and saddles were the first changes made. Crazy thing is i had an original 62 gibson which i bought out west and brought to humid climate and problems began. Since Gibson had such a back log of repairs i traded it regretfully. 25 yrs latter i stumbeled upon an epi of the same model. It was used for $50. To this day it is my fav. And the only guitar that even comes close is a $1500 taylor
hello...thanks for the very kind post and for checking this out! i play it pretty hard. I've had it for over 10 years now i to my ears it sounds better all the time. If i had to say what my best sounding acoustic was at this time i'd had to say this guy. I play it out all the time - thanks for your interest.
Good lesson, I cannot believe I was missing chords ,like years . Sucks because I should know better .This is cool without vocals .add Fret board gymnastics shreddin!
Nailed it!! Awesome lesson man....but I'm concerned I see the numerous guitar cases behind you. The first step is admit you gotta a problem brother lol Good job with a great song thank you!
