The best meteorologists (outside of being good at the actual weather part obviously lol) are the ones who are clearly really into it, show that excitement, and love to share the knowledge with those watching. I get maybe some people don't care, and that's fine we all have our interests. But educating people about what is going on is so helpful so people can, to at least some degree, have an idea of what is happening even when they can't get to a newscast.
