    The problem with answering a question in front of a crowd that is waiting for you is Anxiety
    - You start thinking about what everyone else is thinking about you
    - You realize that the entire class is waiting on you
    - Then you see that you aren't thinking about the question at all
    - Which then makes you even more anxious
    - You know that you are able to answer the question but the only thing stopping you is the fact that everyone thinks that you are stupid because you are taking too long
    This has been a problem for soooooo many people.

      Lol. If that's the case then may be the law isn't for them! As a lawyer they will be required to go in front of court rooms and the media. What their classmates think should be the least of their worry. It's going to be a lot worse in the real world. I say hit the ground running. Start them out in the environment they are going to be in. That's how you find out who the serious ones are and who are the flakes! I'd run my classroom the same way!

  • @Neillionaire

    If I'm being honest, season 1 is by far my favorite season of the show. Don't get me wrong, the later seasons are still good, but they just don't compare to season 1 for me. The classroom scenes are just amazing and I wish we got more of them. I'm not going to get into spoilers like some of the other comments, just in case there is someone unfamiliar with the show reading this, but the main reason that the show got worse for me was that my favorite character was drastically changed by events that took place and it made them far less likable and interesting to me.

    • @coltonhunt6543
      @coltonhunt6543 6 лет назад +38

      I agree that Season 1 might be my favorite as it had the best mystery and the best pay off to te mystery revolving around who killed Sam and who killed Lila. After that, while the acting from the cast still remained strong, the stories started getting a tad too complicated for their own good to the point that the fact that the characters going to class largely started getting overwritten by too much of them trying to cover their tracks.
      That’s probably why I liked Season 4 as the main case at hand (Annalise’s class action) didn’t get swept aside by Laurel trying to bring down her father.

    She really sucked at explaining what mens rea means. She just translated it into "guilty mind" which doesn't really tell you anything if you think about it. Of course it wouldn’t. What the audience never understand is that films and TV shows are written in a technique that doesn’t really represent an entirety of reality, otherwise entertainment pieces will be boring, mundane and flat, very much like our own perception of reality.

    Well, did she really expect everyone to know everything even before the course officially began ,just because she emailed them ? What else will she do in the class then ? BTW Viola Davis was tremendous as Annaliese Keating . If HTGAWM was so interesting it is because of the way she played her role and the story.
