Honestly she carries the show. I'm not really saying that it's bad without her, but she elevates it from a 6.5 to an 8.5 by herself (this is assuming 5 is the average show ranking)
This show was a masterclass in character development. You love each and every character. You hate every single one of them. You loathe them and you sympathize with them. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM
Isaac was annoying. Annalise actually came to him broken asf, needing help and because he developed a crush on her or something he relapsed and blamed HER. Pitiful.
@yes im melody hard to describe.... Have you watched Scandal? Olivia Pope has it too?? It's not an aura per say it's more like the way they are.... (PS: this is my opinion)
If you’re argument is she’s a narcissist go ahead and save it pal. He’s literally has a degree in psychology, he should’ve seen the signs and cut shit in the bud immediately. Either way, all the wrong that happened is on HIS part, she was patient, he was the therapist. End of.
For a small period of time while watching the show, she was my hero. I think she still is. She’s such a badass. Lowkey start having Vodka and act like her
Althroughout the season, i always forgot that she's actress not a real lawyer. I always get into it that I tend to believe that she's actress and lawyer at the same time.
That is when you know, as an actor you have hit the mark. When you can make viewers forget you are acting. Some actors actually become their characters for brief periods of time. This is different from method acting, they just become so in tune with the role
Many times she hurted me, many times she had gave me hope, many time she had moved me, many times she had broken me. Every scene, she made me part of it. AMAZING acting, AMAZING series
She's the greatest actor on the planet & constantly get robbed out of awards & money due to gender & race! She needs more roles Pronto. Viola should've got 3 Emmy's for HTGAWM!Plus she deserves at least $200M for all the great performances she's done!
.Viola makes us real lawyer to look like we ain't doing enough....the series are so inspiring depending on the angle one stands.....To one the title of the movie is an inspiration to potential criminals that with a good lawyer it is easy to away free...it ain't what u do but what the prosecution can prove in court that matters....On the other hand Counsel Viola shows how law ought to be taught, how to put a good fight for ones client, and that lawyers are not extraordinary beings as they like the rest of the world are dealing with everyday realities of family, love and inter alia. By and large Anneliese Keating reminds us feminist that every person irrespective of the accidents of race, gender, status, creed inter alia ....deserves a fair hearing and that in fact we are all geniuses when we are committed to do what we love, to make this world a better place.
The thing with the therapist weirded me out. She wanted to get help and then it was like he was reliving his problems through her and then blaming her for them. That's all they do, complain when Annalise is mean, when she's nice, when she wins or loses. They expect her to be Superman and be this happy content person full of justice without any issues or flaws which is ridiculous after all the crap she'd kept them from falling in.
That’s because he was not an ethical therapist. He needed supervision for many years. But specially while attending AK. He disrespected boundaries and projected his issues on her. He also didn’t confirm the identity of her patients (Bonnie in this case) so that obviously caused conflict of interests. Yeah, as a clinical psychologist his role really made me mad. But exemplifies the reality of some professional who shouldn’t be practicing.
Sounded like an issue of projection. Every therapist are taught and made aware to be mindful of projection - he seemed to place traits he didn't like about himself into her and start to complain about them.
OMG… I am reading her book” Finding Me” ,so I am near the end where she mentions “ Annalise Keating” and I decided to recap some of her scenes… she is sooo amazing. True to her craft. Love this woman!
I haven't scene a single episode of this show... i was only introduced to Annalise Keating on Scandal. BUT DAMN, NOW I GOTTA WATCH IT. I WILL WATCH IT.

She’ll probably never know how much she’s done for little girls who are aspiring to become attorneys. Little girls who are just as complex, just as imperfect, & just as worthy of all the accolades Annalise has received. Thank you. _A Future Attorney

Viola D, my giirl, is an outstanding actor, right up there with Meryl Streep. Every person on this show can snotty-cry. The show is a tour de force and while it was beyond network TV, I'm glad all that unapolegetic and raw Blackness and Gayness was shown to a wider audience. #BravissimoEntireCast.
This show was so good watching it back in 2014. I miss this show so damn much. If I could time-travel I would go back to 2014 and fast-forward back to the present

Amen.
Humans exist in your life and work place, and social network, that exist to help. Just like her. It’s not an act, it’s a stronger empathy.
Viola Davis is honestly outstanding. One of my favorite actors without a doubt. She had me invested in this show from day 1 just by her acting alone.
Honestly she carries the show. I'm not really saying that it's bad without her, but she elevates it from a 6.5 to an 8.5 by herself (this is assuming 5 is the average show ranking)
Agree!
Yess
“And you’re BASIC!” Gets me everytime! 😅 I’m going to miss Queen Annalise ❤️
I felt so bad for him 😭
I lived for that scene
"You want me to save the world and be nice at the same time!" My FAVORITE LINE. UGH SHE IS A LEEEEGEEEEND.

Well said my friend!! I need to re-watch it for a 3rd time, too damn good!
"I'm Martin Luther Damn King! trying to blow up the entire justice system!!!" I replayed that part like a hundred times.
Tell me about it! They should have given her more of that - capping talk back and regaining control.
She says what others are scared to and for THAT she has my respect!!!!
