What Is The Difference Between Hue Saturation And Luminance In Lightroom Classic?
How can you improve your color grading in photos? Using HUE, Saturation and Luminance.
firstly, go to Develop panel and drop down to where you can see it says (HSL/Color)
You can see 8 color bands.
HUE is what color it is, if we go over to the slider to the right or left it changes to a different color.
Saturation is the purity or intensity of the color.
Luminance is where you can change the tint of that color. Increase more white or black.
HSL stands for Hue, Saturation, and Lightness. It is a color model that is used to define colors in terms of their hue (the color itself), saturation (the intensity or purity of the color), and lightness (the brightness or darkness of the color).
In the HSL color model, hue is represented by a number between 0 and 360 degrees, with 0 being red, 120 being green, and 240 being blue. Saturation is represented as a percentage, with 0% being grayscale and 100% being fully saturated. Lightness is also represented as a percentage, with 0% being black and 100% being white.
HSL is often used in computer graphics and web design, as it provides a flexible way to define colors that can be easily adjusted and modified.
