Christine is an amazing chef. I remember watching her back when she won the competition and being in awe. I’m glad to see she hasn’t lost her love of food and cooking.
As soon as she said she was tasting it, my first thought was “oh they’re going to be taken to school.” The thing I remember from her season of MasterChef was how everyone wanted her to taste their cooks because her palate is INSANELY sensitive, so she’ll be able to taste even the tiniest differences.
@@SortedFood Absolutely! Such an incredible journey she has been through, and what an amazing spirit to just live life how you want without letting ANY hindrances stop you. Truly an inspirational woman!
When my daughter was in elementary school (she's 22 now), she did a project about Christine. We emailed her, and she actually wrote back! She very graciously and patiently answered all of my daughter's questions and was sweet, funny and down-to-earth. So happy to see that she's still doing wonderful things!!!
This was an awesome video. As a disabled person, the way that Christine's disability was handled was so fantastic! Often the way that disability is handled in media is so awful but Sorted were so good here. It's a breath of fresh air and very appreciated! The food makes me so envious!
The only time I’ve ever felt like I used too much garlic was in tzatziki sauce. Of course there it’s raw. So that’s probably why. I doubt you can have too much cooked garlic
Witnessing Christine mention the sounds and smells of the kitchen and the food reinforce how alive our senses become when invigorated by ingredients, and particularly when one is removed.
I gotta say, as a native Texan, and Houstonian more specifically, it’s so cool to see so many of the British side of youtube coming and enjoying what we have to offer in recent years. I love that you guys haven’t focused on just bbq like many do, but instead have taken in more of the multicultural side of what our state has to offer since we do have so much influence from others on our food and culture. I know there’s a lot of gimmick when it comes to the size of things in Texas but there’s so much more we have to offer than that. I really hope you guys enjoyed your time here!

Great video! After what Chef Christine did, I’d love to see a new series in the future where Ben/Kush/Food Team make a dish, the boys get to eat it, and then have to recreate it without instructions. All the correct ingredients, plus a few curveballs, store cupboard/pantry availability if they want to riff on it a little and make it their own, then have Ben and Kush judge it
As a native Houstonian, it was so much fun to see you guys travel around the city that I grew up in! I loved that you emphasized the diversity in Houston and the different types of food.
Thanks for coming to Texas. I can't wait to see the Dallas/Fort Worth episode. Houston is the birthplace of Viet-Cajun fusion food. I grew up in cajun country, and I'm in Houston on a regular basis, and that fusion food is on my foodie to-do list. That blend of cuisines belong together.

Oh it's Christine!!! I'm glad she's doing well! She was wonderful on Masterchef. Lovely to see the boys meeting her! She has such a sweet smile and her palate/sense of smell is amazing. Her "this sounds less wet" was really cool. Also Barry and Mike having some quality time together was just lovely.
I loved seeing her on MasterChef. She was so personable and likable. By the way gents, I had commented on one your videos about a month or so ago, about not having a job. Well, good news, I started my new job Monday and loving it so far! Cheers gents!
This video is amazing. Barry and Mike crushed it with the first challenge. It's not an easy task to cook up a Masterchef created dish with no proper recipe. Ben's trained them well! But also, Barry and Mike were so adorable during the whole video - holding hands, enjoying the skyline, going parasailing together- and the way Barry calmed Mike down when he was freaking out was so sweet. It looked like they had a great time! Ben and Jamie on the other hand, looked like they were sweltering. I was seriously worried they would get heat stroke at some point. I'm so glad they had a good time and got to experience the food market and brewery and have a bit more chill time. And the team challenge was incredible to watch. Both teams did great, but Jamie and Barry were really strategic about it, playing to Izzy and Tom's tastes and preferences. Really good job!

What a road trip! I was amazed at the size of Houston - that's why I love food and travel vlogs - I get to see places I am very unlikely to see in real life. Barry and Mike eating cake, watching the skyline was really sweet and tender, a lovely bond between friends. xx
Playing catch up on Videos that I missed having just found the channel after the Sub 10 with Josh and the Mythical Kitchen team, then have to stop just a couple minutes in when I see a familiar face that had me immediately saying those boys and the team are going to be eating well this leg of the journey. Christine was my absolute favourite contestant ever on Master Chef. Watching her compete was inspiring.
That was fabulous! I'm new to Sorted and have been having a ball going through your previous RUclips videos. You're all so enthusiastic and entertaining you bring me on your journey. Thank you
Christine is a true inspiration. Maybe a future battle could be a battle where they put a blindfold on to pick the normals ingredients then cook with them
Glad yall came to Houston! At the beginning you gave us many accolades. However, you stated our city was the largest in Texas, but you forgot one of the most impressive... we're the 4 th largest city in all of America. Glad yall enjoyed your visit!!

When Barry put his hand on Mike's while they were looking at the skyline, that was sweeter than the pie 🥧😊❤

Hilarious really! Reminds me of the comedians, Garfunkel and Oats who did a song that starts, "Sports, go sports!" It's hilarious.

I agree - they mentioned it and then stopped and treated her like the award winning, super successful chef and business owner that she is.
Baz and Mike on their little friend date was the cutest thing ever.
Barry: “You can never have too much garlic.”
Christine: “You can.”

I guess he forgot the poker face extreme food challenge and the garlic puff thing

Barry and Mike eating cake, watching the skyline was really sweet and tender, a lovely bond between friends. xx
Christine! I remember watching her win MasterChef! Such an amazing chef and a wonderful person ❤
Starting the video by walking down the metro tracks was hilarious.
This series has been so fun and wholesome!
Absolutely hooting and hollering at Ben's "something like Rounders" so so so on brand for that silly fella
That was fabulous! I'm new to Sorted and have been having a ball going through your previous RUclips videos. You're all so enthusiastic and entertaining you bring me on your journey. Thank you
"What I hate about local food is that it isn't local to me". As a lifelong Midwesterner who loves good seafood, i felt that in my soul
Loving Barry’s hat, and that whole fit.
I love that Christine was on here, she was my fave contestant on the show ever. And looks like such an amazing chef
I love Ninfa’s. Glad you guys had a chance to add them to your visit.
