  • Usually DDR3L branded memories are able to work dual voltage (1.35V and 1.5V), being built backward compatible. So, no matter if you use a DDR3L memory with an old mainboard that can supply only 1.5V to the memories banks, it should work without any problem.
More, a DDR3L memory can be paired with an older DDR3 memory. They would also work dual channel as well, as the DDR3L will lower it's values to match the older DDR3 memory values.

so no? 😂😂😂 jk, wow. Bummer, i want to use ddr3 in a ddr3L motherboard… not forward compatible. 🤦🏼 Thank you!

The windows only reads 1 slot filled with the DDR3 ram. which another slot filled with DDR3L Ram. Checked on the bios and HWid it reads the DDR3L ram modul but did not added to total Memory. is there Any possible way to fix it?

It depends on your motherboard. As it is mentioned in the video's description, most of the DDR3L are backward compatible. But in your case, it should be the motherboard. So check in the BIOS any voltage options. Try to play with the combinations there and test with each of your memories, and then with both of them. Just try them all.

@@ferrarimihailescu4274 Solved, I do re-check the Memory, it shown that it's a ECC memory and my motherboard didn't support the ECC memory, so I switch to non ECC Memory and it worked. So the point is my motherboard doesn't support the ECC Memory, thank's btw
