Aphids don’t attract ants. Ants and aphids have a symbiotic relationship. The ants carry the aphids to the plants and the aphids make a sweet sticky syrup for the ants to eat. My solution is to get rid of the ants before I plant.
The aphids come in different colors to express their overall mood to the human. Also, they are known to send in the pink group when trying to be pleasing to female human gardener with the hopes of getting to stay. The Shenanigans. 🤦♀️ 🤓

I recently sprayed it on the cabbage butterfly caterpillars and it seems to have got rid of them, which is encouraging!

I have found mulching with tansy gets rid of aphids overnight, hope this helps 😊
oh really?! I had a tansy plant in my herb garden but it took over so I have gotten rid of them almost completely. Maybe I should grow one to mulch?
