Deb your montage is stunning. I always enjoy seeing your both. You two give me ideas and inspiration. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
I have found you girls a few weeks ago and now get nothing done.. Love you both and have been sticking for years. You give me so many new ideas.. jan from St. Louis Missouri. Crazy for your homes and all you do.. thank you.
I just love you two, all you do, so talented. My granddaughter just got married, and I haven't made her anything yet, would love to have the Marriage Fracter. Y'all be blessed.
you ladies both looked so pretty and sunshiny in blue today ❤. Liz your hair is gorgeous…..i love it ❤❤❤. The stitching is wonderful as always 🙂🙂🙂. i always enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for making the videos 🙂. Blessings to both of you ladies.
Just love your videos and love how you talk to each other. Deb your piece of Art work you are working on is just beautiful. Everyone take care and stay safe.
It's so nice to see you both today and I very much enjoyed your video. Deb, your Montage is looking so beautiful. Liz, I bought some Nurge hoops from 123 Stitch and really love them as they're a nice option other than a qsnap, but still love the qsnaps as well. Thank you so much for another wonderful video.
I have never heard of the Raggedy Ann fear. Glad you told the story as I have several from when I was growing up. I will keep this in mind if I pull them for a display. Thanks for the updates and inspiration. Thanks for the pointers. The Nurge hoop is my favorite. I have several sizes.
Liz, I had a Rottweiler that LOVED to destroy toys ESPECIALLY, ones with squeaky things in them. One time she squeaked the toy for about 20 minutes before I told her enough. She squeaked it one more time. She actually would destroy kongs especially if they had a squeaky in it or had feet or those devil ears. We had to get the ones that were totally molded & no squeaky in it for her. She was a beauty.
Great video like always. Deb, Jean Farish has a tip for floss that's all zig zag or curly. She takes a small plastic container that you could put salad dressing in; mine is a 4oz container, she cuts a sponge to fit in the container. You get the sponge wet but not dripping wet and put in the container. She then will drag the floss across the sponge to take out the kinks. The floss dries super quick and it doesn't knot as bad. I love using this tip for my floss even when I use floss drops because the floss gets curly when you take one strand out. I hope that makes sense, I'm not very good at explaining stuff. I have some Nurge hoops and I got mine from Amazon, love them. I love your gadgets and tips Liz, and I'm always looking forward to hearing what you find.
In UK we don't have many if any brick and mortar needlework shops so when a craft show was on near me I went to it, it was mostly card making but the first thing I saw as I walked into the venue was the Nurge frame . Very reasonable price so I bought one. It's great and really holds the fabric taught. I envy you the shops you have for needlecraft. We have Hobbycraft but it is very limited just DMC and Aida. I enjoy your videos very much ,Thank you . Anne
OMG Deb, you montage is stunning, beautiful, gorgeous, magnificent and I could go on and on. Deb, have you ever thought about designing patterns? Liz, I use the Nurge hoops and love them. I bought mine at the Fat Quarter shop. Great video ladies and Happy Stitching.
Always enjoy your videos. Belated Happy Birthday Liz 🎉. Deb, your montage is amazing. Always love when you bring us up to date. It will certainly be a family heirloom ❤.
What a great tip about using a needle with a smaller eye for French / Colonial knots. ❤ Oops! Forgot to say thanks for sharing projects and keeping us up-to-date on your big'un.
Farsi is Persian language. Also mouliné with e and the accent means the way the cotton is twisted. Moulin with the e is a Mill Always beautiful work as usual. Your montage is amazing and so meaningful. It will be great as a tapisserie mounted on a wall.
I purchased a couple of the Nurge hoops from Colorado Stitcher Shop. I have the green #3 and blue #2. The blue is a nice in hand size. The green is larger, and I may try it with a stand. I do like them for holding the fabric tight. I do not leave my fabric in the hoop overnight because of the fold marks on the fabric.
I had what I thought was a beautiful oil on black velvet painting of Tweety-pie, the cute yellow bird that drove the cat nuts. My boys about 5 and 7 at the time, were terrified of it. I couldn't hang it anywhere. I've never had a dog that enjoyed the water, but my MinPin is beyond terrified. I think something must have happened to her before I adopted her. I love Nurge products. I have a wooden lap stand by Nurge. Without it I wouldn't be X-stitching due to an overuse injury to my left wrist. Yes, you can do too much X-stitching. 😢
I use bobbins for my floss. If I run a damp paper towel over the floss, the creases disappear. The nurge hoops seem to be popular. It sounds like the work like the Morgan hoops.
I’m new to floss tube watching and your is one of my very favorites. I’m watching your new and old. It looks like your taping in a shop. Do you have a needlework shop? I used to own a cross stitch shop in the 80’s. It was a fun business.
Thank you ladies for another wonderful video. All of your stitching is beautiful. I’m glad you had a lovely birthday Liz. I love your crab finish in the tin, it’s very cute. Debs montage is looking amazing and the doggy addition is gorgeous. Enjoy your stitching over the next few weeks. Love and blessings. Xx
Deb, I hope you will share how you eventually organize your DMC. I'm sure you will. Will you have a drawer for each color, or several in one drawer, or just the more popular colors, etc...... Thanks for another great video, ladies.
I cannot express the great LOVE for Deb’s montage. It is breathtakingly beautiful and a TON of work! Mind blowing for me! Thank you for showing the Knot work, Liz by Teresa Lehman, I used to do candle wicking back in the day…might give this a try! Also Deb I sooo Love your spread in Country Sampler, your home is amazing and gorgeous. Love this video and enjoy you ladies sooo much. Grateful you are close to me…I live in Mechanicsburg PA and travel to Stitches Unlimited all the time. Thank you both for your influence and inspiration. Love ya! 😊❤️👏👏
It’s always so fun and informative to watch you ladies. 2 questions, #1 Deb, will you finish your montage or continue as probably more grand children will be born ? It’s so wonderful! #2 Liz, on your pin cushion with the mix of emery and poly fill, how’s that done? Do you make a pouch for the emery, a rookie here, curious minds! Thanks ladies for sharing
Liz, that pink frame is so cool, thinking of buying one. Kim on Fat Quarter Shop showed different hoops one day, had that one.😮. Loved your Montage so very much, Oh!!, pretty, Deb. Always a joy to watch you two ladies and what you have accomplished on your projects. ❤😊
Enjoyed stitching with you this evening! Liz, if you don't mind sharing, what tasks is your dog training to help you with? I love watching them work. Years ago I did search and rescue training with my yellow lab. Working dogs of all types are amazing!
I just love Teresa Layman’s Designs. I have been doing them off and on for 15 years. The designs are fantastic. It is just like coloring, but with thread. It is so relaxing and who doesn’t like to be a Knotty Girl… lol 😂
Again inviting you both into my home has brought me joy. Sometimes when feeling little down and your floss tube comes up and lifts my spirit. Thank you
I love watching your videos! You are both so creative and your personalities blend so well! Deb would you be willing to chart the squirrel that you freehanded? I’ve never found one as cute as yours. Liz I know that you lived in Maine and I live there now. A friend and I are doing the summer Quaker but changing “summer” to “Maine”. I haven’t started but will someday soon I hope.
Happy Belated Birthday Liz, Charlie is so lovable and adorable. Love seeing what you are working on and your progress, thank-you for all the links to the different shops. It is always a pleasure to see what you both are up too. I love the hot weather even the humidity does not bother me.
Hello from Charleston! As always your stitching is inspiring. I am curious about how Deb stores her seasonal home decor in ‘offseason’. I am trying to come up with better organization so it is not a chore to decorate for the season. My favorite is fall and Christmas. Any tips are appreciated! Keep those needles flying!
Hi Liz and Deb, I enjoyed watching your video. Happy belated birthday Liz. Farsi is a Persian language. It isn’t Arabic. Arabic is different. Farsi is spoken in Iran ( Persia ) Liz your new dog is adorable.
The one caveat on those Nurge hoops is trying to get the crease out , even after a short time. Seen several youtubers complaining about them. Also crushing previous stitching.
Great video! Whereas I have been stitching for a while, I think it’s wonderful that you take the time to explain cross stitch lingo! There are so many stitchers who do not have an LNS so they look to you tube for guidance. You have graciously supplied it! Keep up the good work!
Another great episode ❤ Deb, the montage is beyond amazing! Liz, I also love the Nurge hoops. I get mine on Amazon since I get free shipping 👍 I usually stitch in hand, but when I need a hoop, they are my new favorite.
I just recently found the knot projects too. Thanks for sharing what the printed fabric looks like. I hope to see your progress on this project. I'm the President of Molly Pitcher Stitchers. We look forward to seeing you at some of our events. 😊
You both always show such lovely needlework projects! Deb, it was so nice to see your montage again. Liz, I like your idea for stitching parts of the Summer Quaker piece by Lila in different ways! Hope you both enjoy your get away with stitching friends. Regarding dogs and water, my sister had a border Collie who absolutely loved the water. She had no fear whatsoever, and we're talking salt water here. When she was my brother's dog, they'd take her for a swim in the Gulf of Mexico when they were stationed in Mississippi, and when my sister adopted the dog later, they'd bring her down to Sandy Hook, NJ where she would enjoy a dip in the bay. They had to keep a careful eye on her, because she was so fearless and would try to swim out too far . So Liz, I don't know if all border collies like water, but this one sure did😊. Deb, I did email you my address a few weeks ago when you did your stitching video and announced my name as the winner of the Elizabeth Potter Clark sampler, but I will email you again in case it didn't get to you the first time. Enjoy the end of summer ladies😊
Happy belated birthday Liz! I love the kitchen addition to your montage Deb! Have a great time at your getaway retreat! Thank you for sharing your love of needlework.
Deb your montage is beautiful. Liz I love your finished pin cushion. Liz I found a floor stand by Gus Creations he has a RUclips showing what it looks like. I can sit in my recliner with my feet out and my scroll frame on it. I can easily reach to do all my stitching and see it all clearly. Oh you can also use hoops and stretcher bars. I bought a nurge hoop about a month ago and I love it for my small projects. I have finished one of my three Shepherds Bush Christmas Stockings. I am half done with my second with one more to go. I miss you all when you get videos out.
Here in South Yorkshire, England, the sun has vanished, too. Always look forward to your podcasts. Will watch later when I go back into the house, currently sitting in the greenhouse stitching as the light is much better outdoors.
I love the story of the Raggedy Ann dolls. When my oldest daughter (who is in her fifties) was three years old, we purchased a Raggedy Andy doll at a bazaar. The Ann doll had already been sold. He has always been Raggedy Pete. This daughter has a few sets of the dolls. A few years ago she made me a giant set of Raggedys which sit in an antique rocking chair in my front room. My granddaughter (who is about to give birth to her first child) just hates those dolls. She insists that they're evil based on some horror movie she saw. When she comes to visit, she'll sometimes throw a blanket or her coat over them. I'd love to buy a cute little set of Raggedys for Baby Santiago, but I'm not that mean. Love your show so much. I keep contemplating a montage to honor my late husband so I love to see the updates on yours. Liz, I always enjoy your "twinness". I'm also a twin. We're both cross stitchers and crafters.
Hi Liz/Deb Just an FYI for you. I have those Nurge hoops all the sizes. the smaller ones are nice. however the larger ones are very difficult to get tight and for me the fabric did not stay tight. as a resul;t have gone back to my trusty hardwich manor hoops. OH Liz, have been meaning to message you. Yes I did get the frame and thank you so much. I had totally forgotten about it and was quite surprised when it showed up . so thank you so much. You both a working on some amazing projects thank you for sharing and taking the time to do these videos. Hugs
So happy to see y'all again. Deb, your montage is absolutely beautiful. I do have a question. How long is your scroll rod? I am working on a very large haed (Reader's Paradise), and it needs a longer scroll rod than 30 in. I can't seem to find anything any longer. If someone makes scroll rods longer than 30, please let me know. As always, I am looking forward to your next video.
Wonderful to see you both again. It makes my day when your new Flosstube show up on my screen. Deb, thanks for answering my questions about Quakers and Quilts. Your piece is lovely. But I do have 1 more question. The pattern calls for using all 3 strands of the Valdani on 28 count. Do you remember how many strands you used on your 32 count linen? 3 strands seem so thick but then the coverage on yours is perfect. Thanks again for answering. You are so helpful to us new and returning stitchers.
I love that you are who you are and that your amazing and fun personality comes shining through in your videos!!
Deb your montage is stunning. I always enjoy seeing your both. You two give me ideas and inspiration. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless

A wonderful visit with you both. Lovely stitching on your montage Deb. Liz some lovely stitching and threads. Blessings and happy stitching.

Hi Liz and Deb, I enjoyed watching your video. Happy belated birthday Liz. Farsi is a Persian language. It isn’t Arabic. Arabic is different. Farsi is spoken in Iran ( Persia ) Liz your new dog is adorable.
So love your montage!!! I know so many that love Nurge hoops but they hurt my hand when holding. 🤷♀️ I don’t know why I do better with Q snap.
It has been over 90 here in Florida for almost 2 months now, but I’m loving it. Have fun on your retreat ladies
Wonderful video! You guys have been busy! Love seeing all your works! Have fun at your retreat/girl time! Happy stitching!!❤
Another great episode ❤ Deb, the montage is beyond amazing! Liz, I also love the Nurge hoops. I get mine on Amazon since I get free shipping 👍 I usually stitch in hand, but when I need a hoop, they are my new favorite.
Farsi a dialect of Arabic good job Liz ☺️
I just recently found the knot projects too. Thanks for sharing what the printed fabric looks like. I hope to see your progress on this project.
I'm the President of Molly Pitcher Stitchers. We look forward to seeing you at some of our events. 😊
What is Molly Pitcher Stitchers? Where do they meet?

My daughter says our dogs are just getting the kidneys and the liver out when they tear up their toys - a little yucky but funny! hugs
Lovely to see you both back. The montage is looking awesome Deb. Happy Stitching to both of you 🤗
Happy belated birthday Liz!
I like making new fall craft quilt items and cross stitch items for my house.
Hugs
You always furnish good information pertaining to threads and stitching, as well as beautiful stitching. Thanks again.
Just found your channel and I love it. Thank you. ❤❤❤❤
Love the nurge hoop, have already bought 2. Thanks for all the helpful tips in this video 💕🪡
I got my Nurge from Amazon but I like supporting local shops, if they carry what I need. Looove the montage!
Great to see you two together again. I ordered the summer Quaker book. ❤️
Thank you
I love my Nurge floor stand too, its light enough to bring outside if I want to as well.
