I know you have probably seen this a lot but I really do think it would be great if you end up reacting to all the other endings for this game as there is quite a few and they all add their own emotions and story into each of them and it would be great to see your reaction to each of them, especially the majority of the community's favorite which is called "Blood brothers". There is also a video of all the endings on the official life is strange RUclips channel if you do decide you want to watch them.
so if anyone is still curious, I just asked her on her twitch stream whether she is going to react to the other endings and unfortunately she said she has no intention in watching them :(
@@joshuabrennan1883 bruhhh 😭maybe she'd consider if we recommend it enough?? i was so curious to see her reactions bc the endings are so drastically different
I was waiting for you to realise that was David 🤣 Fun fact: if you choose the sacrifice Arcadia bay instead of Chloe, when you go into David’s trailer, you can find a photo of max and Chloe on the wall instead of the photo of David and his war buddy. And in the conversation David has with Sean, he tells you that him and Chloe have reconciled and actually love each other like father like daughter. and when David gets a call, instead of it being Joyice, it’ll be Chloe telling David about her and max being in NY. It’s so damn cool.
There are some very loud people who hated this game, and some who didn't even try to engage with it at all. But for me, it was an absolutely unforgettable, emotional, and gorgeous experience.
The first one together with Before the Storm are still my favorites, but this is the only one I've actually replayed because it's so much more ambitious, wrt the narrative and the gameplay, endings, and the 'guide Daniel's morality' mechanic.
@@Renoistic Yeah, I think even if you didn't end up connecting with it as much, you can tell the game is very earnest, and really tried to be ambitious and not just reiterate the first game again. It's something I wish Deck9 would do more with their LiS games, but that's just my opinion.
It was a really good game but also really emotionally draining. I also felt it railroaded you into situations you were really trying to avoid by playing smart, and that got frustrating at times.
Probably because it's a goofy mess. The game wants to talk about things it barely understands like the wall. Like the wall, why is it there? I dunno, racism I guess lol - when in reality is because in the "north" people don't try to cross illegally. Episode 4 in particular is offensive to anyone who has more than 2 braincells left - everyone in that small town already knows Daniel is there and no one reported it to the police? I won't even go into the racist part of the episode because it's laughable how poorly done it is. Yes fellas, rednecks will inspect your car and ask you to sing if you stop by their properties and have a little tan. The worst offense of all is how Sean is prosecuted when the autopsy can prove he didn't touch the officer but the game never cares, the French developers think that if you're brown in America you get automatically arrested or something. I don't "hate" the game anyway, I just think it's hilarious and completely tone deaf, it has also aged very poorly. Easily the most poorly written LiS game by a mile, it's clear they just wanted to talk about a hot topic at the time.
As some people already written - you raised Daniel "too well" - so he made the decision he did. Love when you play these story driven games and the way you play them - taking your time!
Yeah, what I love about the ending you got (which is the same one I got and prefer) is that Daniel finally takes full responsibility for his actions and basically gives Sean the choice to be free. Much like how in the first Life is Strange, Chloe at the end gave Max the choice to save Arcadia Bay over her. Throughout the story, Daniel doesn't listen to Sean so for him to have finally shown growth even as a kid with that ending was very well-developed imo. And tbf, Daniel never wanted to go to Mexico since he would have to overcome all the cultural barriers, doesn't speak the language, etc. So with that ending, it may not be the best scenario since he is still monitored but he's still technically free and is at peace with that decision to give himself up and accept that actions have consequences. And sometimes, the best scenario for families is to separate and live independent lives to be truly happy. Maybe one day when the circumstances are different, they will see each other again.
This is the exact ending I got. It completely broke me I can literally never pick up this game again because I know this game will always make me cry😭 I feel myself liking this game more than the first mainly because I can relate more to these characters and it hits me way more emotionally
It's easy to miss when they get a new voice actor that doesn't sound anything like David did in Season 1. If the Season 1 voice actor didn't want to come back, they could have at least got someone that has a similar voice...
in my opinion, you got the best ending, they both had a life and they will always be brothers. i got the lone wolf ending so i think you got it good lol
I got the lone wolf ending also and felt devastated lol, after everything sean went through. I had to reload episode 5 to get the blood brothers ending 😭
i’m still soooo beyond glad you played this game! literally my favorite in the franchise; and i know that’s not a popular opinion for some people, but it’s true!!
The ending you got is my second favorite. There are 3 hidden traits Daniel gets more or less of depending on the choices you make. 1.) Morality - this determines how daniel treats others and following the rules of society 2.) Brotherhood - this determines daniels relationship with sean as in how much he trusts and listens to him 3.) Power instinct - this determines how comfortable daniel is using his powers. The more you let him use them the higher it gets. Telling him that its dangerous etc. Lowers it. A lot of people think in order to get low morality daniel you have to "raise him poorly" which is simply not the case. You can do this by simply allowing him to use his powers whenever given the chance and not belittling him or telling him to stop when he does. I didnt kill anything or anyone, didnt steal, and didnt even agree to the heist and still got the low morality ending i wanted. What it comes down to is letting daniel becoming comfortable with his powers and not being afraid to use them when he does. For instance in episode 2 with Chris if you kept the secret from him and at the end he runs in front of the police car daniel will use his powers to save him because he has high power instinct. I like high brotherhood low morality daniel best because even though he may lash out on lisbeth for example he will listen to sean when he tells him to stop or not do something. Loved your playthrough!!!! ❤
Omgsh! I knew you would get this ending or the redemption ending based on how Daniel was acting in this last episode! You basically taught Daniel to follow the rules of society as opposed to teaching him that you and he come first as brothers, so this took you down the path of separation or redemption. Since you picked to cross the border, he refused and you kept going. If you had chosen to surrender then Sean would have gone to jail for 15 years and Daniel would have lived with Clair and Steven and seen Sean when he got out of jail. When I played, I got the blood brothers ending which I think is honestly the best. But I think the separation ending is in 2nd place for sure! At least you didn’t get the Lone Wolf ending, which is HEARTBREAKING! Love your channel girl!
The pictures and the final scene with Daniel really hit home. You did a good job raising Daniel and that’s why he made the choice he did. Always love how invested you get in these stories; I couldn’t agree more with your thoughts on video games at the end of the video.
this game works with fraternity and morality points, depending on how you "raised" daniel this final choice of him accepting or refusing stuff will change plus u should take a look at the other endings and react to david's trailer and overall stuff that changes when u sacrifice arcadia bay as well
Loved, loved, LOVED your playthrough of this. One of, if not, my fav lis game. So powerful and so grateful to witness someone feel the emotions of the game so authentically.
oh my god i’m not ready for this although i’ve seen all the endings a million times😭😭😭😭i’m scared lmao loves your playthrough, thanks for caring ab our sweet boys 🥲💗 loved the first aid kit at the start btw! much love kasta
Thank you so much for your playthrough. I always enjoy the way you do these. I am so glad you love LiS. Life is Strange 2 was never my fav when it came out. But, having watched playthroughs recently gave me a new appreciation! And, more your playthrough made it more enjoyable. I can't wait until you play the rest of the franchise.
I ended up getting the same ending and was kind of mad about it at first, but seeing this whole journey again with fresh eyes after a few years, it may be the best ending for everyone. Daniel got to live with the family he longed to connect with and Sean got the freedom that he came to appreciate through everyone he met on his journey. Obviously it’s gotta be hard to be away from his brother, but everyone is safe and the family is mended more than it was at the start of the story.
The best ending is the one where they both get accross the border imo. Thats the one i got. But you got to be a bit more lienant with his powers to get that ending.
Great gameplay 🥹 You made good careful choices throughout the gameplay and you're detail oriented as well, I'm satisfied with the ending and I'm going to add this to my fav! 🙂↕️♥️
This is my favorite ending for sure. It´s the most bittersweet I think, and it really shows the difference between Sean's and Daniel´s life experience and how they relate to the family and friends they meet on the road. Daniel doesn't have the same baggage Sean has when it comes to Karen, Claire, and Stephen which allows a healthy bond to really form. On the other hand, even an understanding Sean can't completely ignore the scars of past trauma and loss. Connecting with other lost and wandering souls (Cass or Finn) gives Sean some of the only joy he experiences on this long road trip, but it introduces some jealousy and friction between the brothers. In that final moment before reaching the border, when Daniel is reflecting on past holidays with Esteban, he is thinking about everything he is leaving behind by following Sean all the way to Mexico. For Sean, however, having nothing but memories left of a parent is nothing new. Deciding to ask Daniel to get them through is actually at odds with how he has been raised at this point in a way if you get this ending. Crossing the border in that moment is at least as dangerous as robbing Merril, arguably more, which many people choose not to go along with. Sean has admonished Daniel all this time for misusing his powers but generally opts to use it when it seems right or necessary. However, Sean has been on the run for so long, so focused on getting to Mexico with nothing left in this world besides his little brother, that he has actually started to take Daniel and his powers for granted. It's that moment as a parent when you realize your kid has grown up and is making decisions you wouldn't, but on an accelerated and compressed timeline. In a way, this is Sean's reward for doing the right thing for Daniel at the cost of his own morality, for sacrificing everything and risking his life to protect him and give him a chance at happiness. Despite all the horrible and terrible things that happened to them and the questionable things Daniel did, he still managed to raise a brother with a sense of right and wrong and who has a deep bond with his family and friends. Daniel's last gift to Sean is safe passage to Mexico, but he knows that he can't continue to hurt people with his powers for his own gain. In the end, we do see that he still uses his power discreetly for good just like Sean taught him. The cherry on top is the photo of Sean (and hopefully a friend), getting his own second chance thanks to Daniel's power. I get why people love the ending with both Sean and Daniel in Mexico, but I find the ending actually pretty dark. I don't think its a question of morality per se,but it seems like a brutal life. They are essentially always under threat in a legal purgatory/gray area as international fugitives, and Daniel is getting used to being quite violent with his powers dealing with gangs and such. I also feel like its not what Esteban would have wanted, he left Puerto Lobos for a reason.
To be honest, out of all the endings this is the happiest one in my opinion. There are some interesting endings but if you had surrendered there I just see it as such an unfair punishment for Sean. He's living his life in Mexico and Daniel can always go visit.👌
I just want you to know your play through made me SOB. I love how you progressed through this game, taking your time and making sure to see every little detail. I'm so excited to see how you play the other life is strange games! ❤

We've probably already told you, but Before the Storm is normally played after Life is Strange. It makes sense, given that it's about the storm, so it's linked to the first game.
Found your channel recently(ish) (like a month or so ago!) what an amazing journey, your playthrough was thoroughly enjoyable, whether it's your insight to what happens, to how enjoyable and fun you made this, the 5 episodes went by so quickly! As for my favorite Life is Strange games it has to be 1, Before the Storm and True Colors, really looking forward to Double Exposure next week!
You raised Daniel too well...I think this ending in a way is the best as it allows Daniel to live the type of life that he always wanted with a family, friends, and structure and Sean got a lifestyle of more freedom similar to his time with the drifters in episode 3.
@@Undercapsule When I first played this when it first came out I thought Blood Brothers was the best ending. Sure Sean and Daniel made a good life for themselves among the crime in Puerto Lobos, but at what cost to their character? Now I think Parting Way and Blood Brothers are tied for first.
Daniel jumped out of the car in my opinion because he wanted to face the consequences of his actions, the reason they were in that situation to begin with was because of him and since then his powers had only caused destruction and dug them even deeper. I think it was a bit of foreshadowing from David when he told Sean he thought it was best for them to face the law instead of running from it, which was a indicator that either both of you would surrender together or or one of you would.
also daniel having the monitor was more for Sean i believe since daniel was able to see the blonde kid and go to school and see his mom. i think they suspect sean as the mr.explosion
I'm super excited for Life is strange before the storm 😁✨👍 Also that wolf shirt is adorable 💖 Ooo! I love the energy and excitement in the intro as well! I truly love it!
Such a phenomenal game, I place it above LIS 1. How you raise Daniel, it matters so much, done bad leads to the catastrophy. Other endings video is a must watch.

I love rewatching lis play through This story though is one that’s hard for me to completely finish rewatching such a great heart wrenching story between these brothers the family and friends just so real even with Daniel’s powers in play I’ve never seen this ending with this game had me completely surprised Ty for the great play through
That’s the ending I got! What a fantastic game. Super underrated. Was eagerly awaiting your reaction to David! I strongly suggest going back to see what image is on his fridge if you chose the other LiS1 ending.
3:09:49 Yes Daniel can still see his mother, we saw earlier in this ending a picture of him at Away with his mother. The ankle monitor is likely there just to stop him from rejoining Sean at Puerto Lobos, at least until his majority I guess since it was stated by a cop in this episode that Daniel can't be charged for any crime since he is a minor
Oh, and I'm sure someone else will mention it, but you should look up what the David stuff is like if you sacrificed Arcadia Bay. You see a picture of Max and Chloe, and it's clear they came and visited David in Away, and Chloe has an actual relationship with him (she's the one who calls him on the phone in that version).
Now compare those choices throughout all episodes in LiS2 to all meaningless choices in LiS1. I love LiS2 so much more than the first game. Both stories are great, imo, but the second one really takes your choices into account throughout all episodes and they all matter at the end.
This is my favorite story in Life of strange series jsut damn loved this playthrough, & I know there’s other endings to this ending but now I gotta play the 3rd game never have
I hope you know that you got the best ending possible in my opinion. You chose the best option. Even though they're separated, they get to have the life they wanted.
@3:03:17 i think when the choice uses blue blinking effect, it involves daniel's power, so you might be right, somehow daniel could do a miracle. but he's a fugiotive, no player wants him to get arrested, but it's his destiny. justice is so unfair. and not only in fictions. punishing you for crimes you never committed.
I've never got that ending so it's new to me and I'd played it through three times. You put a lot of effort in to relationship between Sean and Daniel though, obviously the key
Ah, you got my favorite ending ☺If you teach Daniel to be good and bond with him, Sean's choice to cross the border seems to go against the morality he's been taught. Throughout their journey, it's clear Daniel has never wanted to go Puerto Lobos and is tired of never having having a choice. As long as he and Sean are together, neither will ever be free, and he starts to realize this in Rules ("maybe this power is a curse", "why does my power always bring trouble?"). He at least wants Sean to be free and gives him that gift, fully expecting to be captured. Jumping out of the car was the first mature adult decision Daniel has ever been able to make on his own. It's bittersweet and heartbreaking, but both brothers are free in the end and have what they need to live in peace. I also love how the tree at the end shows the reverse of the wolf animation, with the smaller wolf chasing the bigger one, hinting at Daniel's desire to be reunited someday. 😭
This is definitely not my favorite ending, the best one is where daniel accepts, thats the one i got and most ppl say it’s best one i wish she got that one.
@@UndercapsuleEhh, the Blood Brothers ending is not worth sacrificing the remainder of Daniel's childhood and innocence imo. I know most people want them to stay together, but Sean was the one who put Daniel in danger by running because he didn't want to be separated, and while I can understand his reasoning 100%, it's not good for a child as young as Daniel either way. He needs a proper home, friends, a family environment, none of which Sean could provide, which is why he and Daniel's relationship suffers along the way. He's forced to go along with Sean constantly with no choice in the matter. To me, Daniel seems miserable in Blood Brothers because both of them got involved in what seem to be gang wars, and they're still both looking over their shoulder at the next danger Daniel has to save them from, so it's the same as when they were on the run in the US anyway, it's just exchanging one hard life for another. They're "free" physically but not mentally, and the way Daniel looks through Sean's journal, in which Sean wrote a bunch of "ugh we have to go on the run again because of Daniel", I'm sure he wouldn't feel too great lol. But that's just my perspective on that ending. I just get the vibe Daniel isn't happy.
@@UndercapsuleDaniel hated the idea of going to Mexico the entire game. sacrificing his relationships, innocence, education, and everything to go to Mexico is not a good ending. It’s not fair on Daniel, especially after finding out Daniel would not get any sentencing in the US. They’re literally stealing millions from banks, have gang break-ins in their house, and never escape the life is crime in Mexico. Daniel does not deserve that
Sure they’re rich, but it isn’t even clean money. Sure, they’re not running away from cops, but they have to constantly look over their shoulders because of gang break ins. Our job was to protect Daniel. Sean and Daniel can always meet up in a third country when he gets his house arrest tracker off
Thanks for this wonderful playthrough! I always enjoy your perspective on games. I feel the ending was bittersweet. I wish they weren't separated, but I'm glad to see them both happy and doing well. Also I love the soundtrack in this game. I watched your archive video on 6 years on Twitch and partner. I don't have Twitch, but I still want to say congrats to you. Cheers to you and the community you have brought together from both youtube and Twitch. I'm glad to be part of this community and wish you the best!
I personally loved my ending. I chose for Daniel to use his power and he got out of the car and took his time using his power. It was such an incredible scene. Then they casually drove through together, leaving behind the destruction and hopefully just unconscious people lol. They started an auto repair shop together. There was a moment where these gang members tried to kill Sean and Daniel used his power to scare them away. They ended up enjoying a couple of beers on the beach in the final shot. I really loved that ending and considered it a happy one! Lol Then I went back to see what would have happened if I surrendered. Daniel refused to let me do that, locked the car doors, and floored the gas pedal. Sean was yelling for him to stop, but Daniel ignored him. They drove through the cops (kinda like they did in this video) and they made it through. When Daniel was celebrating he looks over at Sean and he was shot in the neck and was bleeding out. He died right there. Ugh I'm so sad for that ending and happy I didn't choose that for my first go round. He ended up on the same beach hanging out at Sean's memorial. Some gang members wanted to mess with Daniel but he scared them away with his power. Oh and his hair was blonde!! What was that about? Lol
Many nights I get high and binge watch your videos (lowkey the best way for me to unwind after long days). I especially love your FF series' - masterpieces! Thank you for all you do, Cataclysm.
if i were playing i would surrender because it's one thing to be wrongly accused but it's another to turn fugitive, and it only make things worse. maybe daniel stayed to negociate sean's freedom, as we knew he was too young to be in jail? i can't believe this is what daniel wanted, to be separated from his brother. maybe there are different ending according how you played previous chapters? but each chapters looks-like a standalone game so i don't think so.
I have absolutely loved your playthru of this game I am genuinely shocked you chose the cross the border. This game has 7 endings and none good, they range from less painful to absolutely painful
Life is strange 2 is my fav and so underrated great gameplay! I have a couple questions for you.. 1. How did you come up with your RUclips name and what does it mean I need help trying to figure out one for myself. 2. Where did you get the chair that you sit on for these gameplays from? I am looking for one for my space.
1. Haha, my name happened as a result of incorrectly reading the name of something else. It doesn't really mean anything as far as I'm aware 😆 2. The chair I currently sit on while I'm playing through games is a Haworth Fern office chair. It's quite the comfy chair
Hi Kasta! I have just finished watching you LiS1 playthrough and it was amazing revisiting the game 7 years after playing it, with you again! I pray that you play LiS Before the Storm... And for LiS2 I have never finished it but I will watch your playthrough now.
I don't know if you read the comments, but it's a really good playthrough, with some interesting thoughts on the various themes developed in the game. This kind of immersive let's play is pretty rare these days on RUclips, I think.Thank you for doing that. Keep in mind that the LiS team at Don't Nod (the french studio who've made these games) ,the original creators of Life is Strange, only made Life is Strange 1,Captain Spirit and Life is Strange 2. They will not come back kto the IP,they're now developping their own new narrative IP,Lost Records. The first game will be released in few month,it's called Lost REcords :Bloom & Rage, there are two video teasers for the game. Not sure if you have already seen it or not. The other LiS games,Before the Storm ,True Colors, and the next one (i am very skeptical about this one for a lot of reasons) are made by another studio,Deck Nine. Also if you like these kind of games, don't forget that "Tell Me Why" ,a 3 episodes narrative game made by Don't Nod is free (the full game) on steam this month ,so don't forget to add it to your steam library...you should play it,it's very good.
i have just been spending the whole weekend watching the Outer Wilds series and have really enjoyed it. I have a recommendation for a game to look at. The remake of Riven is coming out on the 25th and I feel like it has a similar feeling of discovery and wonder as Outer Wilds. Both stories center around very scientifically minded characters. The whole Myst series has stayed with me over the years and I would love to see you uncover and explore that world.
3:00:43 Part of me was hoping that the wolf brothers would have run into max and Chloe, and just maybe max being willing to help Sean and Daniel by saving their father, preventing their whole ordeal, guess not
Awesome a new Life is Strange sequel is coming out this is really a surprise but I'm here for the ending of Life is Strange, have a nice Saturday evening Kasta and Miss Ginger.🐾🐈😼🐾
Hi, I have been enjoying watching your playthroughs of life is strange. I have played all them about 20x lol, love the stories and evoke of emotions. I really hope to see you play True Colors
i wish the game came with 752 different ending on 63 different game files. like "if you played like this, put disc 27", ok" game continue on disc 72". then it's digital it could be doable, but very expensive, like 70 game in one, each time you play you have a diferenbt experience. lof of game promises it, but in reality is way too expensive, so you only influence small detail and maybe on the very last episode you have 2 different ending and you're happy. it's easier to do with a book, cause less expensive, actually. i'm saying this beacause i want an end with cassidy obviously. another where the reach mexico, antoher where they stay with their mum in new york, etc etc.

I've never seen a play through with this ending and it's tragic they got separated but I think Daniel had a better child hood and at least Sean had Cassidy
3:09:09 I always wondered why the events on the border were not referenced on other games, it was a huge deal, if the latest game will feature a supernatural murder, wouldn’t the government of the LIS universe think it was due to someone’s powers??
I'd love to watch that you play the Before the Storm. Rachel and Chloe's story. Not so deep as the first part and only three chapters. And the bonus episode is great too. (young Max and Chloe)
I know you have probably seen this a lot but I really do think it would be great if you end up reacting to all the other endings for this game as there is quite a few and they all add their own emotions and story into each of them and it would be great to see your reaction to each of them, especially the majority of the community's favorite which is called "Blood brothers". As some people already written - you raised Daniel "too well" - so he made the decision he did. Love when you play these story driven games and the way you play them - taking your time!
W
It completely broke me I can literally never pick up this game again because I know this game will always make me cry😭
I feel myself liking this game more than the first mainly because I can relate more to these characters and it hits me way more emotionally
"Facial hair: it's like the makeup for men" Loved your realization of who "David" is🤗
It's easy to miss when they get a new voice actor that doesn't sound anything like David did in Season 1. If the Season 1 voice actor didn't want to come back, they could have at least got someone that has a similar voice...
Ok
This is easily the best life is strange game for me personally. So relatable with many things and the story is genuinely good and well written.
in my opinion, you got the best ending, they both had a life and they will always be brothers. i got the lone wolf ending so i think you got it good lol
OH my God I am so sorry you got the Lone Wolf Ending, that was actually the WORST ENDING, I got the Redemption ending.
@@wesker26 yeah I just sat there for 30mins just contemplating life after those credits rolled. Hell of a game by the end
I got the lone wolf ending also and felt devastated lol, after everything sean went through. I had to reload episode 5 to get the blood brothers ending 😭
Wolf brothers forever... Awooooo! 🐺 Thanks for playing
i’m still soooo beyond glad you played this game! literally my favorite in the franchise; and i know that’s not a popular opinion for some people, but it’s true!!
The ending you got is my second favorite. There are 3 hidden traits Daniel gets more or less of depending on the choices you make.
1.) Morality - this determines how daniel treats others and following the rules of society
2.) Brotherhood - this determines daniels relationship with sean as in how much he trusts and listens to him
3.) Power instinct - this determines how comfortable daniel is using his powers.
the wolf shirt is adorable 😭
Love your channel girl!
excited for life is strange before the storm
We want it soooo bad🎉
The pictures and the final scene with Daniel really hit home. You did a good job raising Daniel and that’s why he made the choice he did. Always love how invested you get in these stories; I couldn’t agree more with your thoughts on video games at the end of the video.
I love that the theme music of LIS1 plays when it crosses over with LIS2. Makes me a little emotional, honestly. ❤
The studio behind LiS 1 and 2 are doing a new game called Lost Records, you should play that one too when it comes out!
It's not lis but the studio who makes.lis? Interestin
Yeah, they don't have the rights to LiS any longer. Instead it's the studio behind Before the Storm that developed True Colors and the upcoming one.
I liked Before the Storm but thought Colors was disappointing so I'm very interested in seeing what the original studio will do with Lost Records.
I love LiS2 man. It's so good
this game works with fraternity and morality points, depending on how you "raised" daniel this final choice of him accepting or refusing stuff will change
plus u should take a look at the other endings and react to david's trailer and overall stuff that changes when u sacrifice arcadia bay as well
I just asked her on her twitch stream and unfortunately she said she has no intention in watching the other endings :(
Loved, loved, LOVED your playthrough of this. One of, if not, my fav lis game. So powerful and so grateful to witness someone feel the emotions of the game so authentically.
oh my god i’m not ready for this although i’ve seen all the endings a million times😭😭😭😭i’m scared lmao
loves your playthrough, thanks for caring ab our sweet boys 🥲💗
loved the first aid kit at the start btw! much love kasta
Yess i love before the storm, you get to see a little of chloe’s past and rachel!
Also the farewell bonus episode kasta has too play
These endings always make me cry 😭 Loved watching your play through, you're always so thoughtful and I really appreciate that
Also I'm seconding everyone asking you to react to the other endings (if you have any interest in that of course)!!
Watching you play this was great! Looking forward to the next LIS game playthrough when you get to it!
This is The first time that I watched a full playthrough
I ended up getting the same ending and was kind of mad about it at first, but seeing this whole journey again with fresh eyes after a few years, it may be the best ending for everyone. Daniel got to live with the family he longed to connect with and Sean got the freedom that he came to appreciate through everyone he met on his journey. Obviously it’s gotta be hard to be away from his brother, but everyone is safe and the family is mended more than it was at the start of the story.
The best ending is the one where they both get accross the border imo. Thats the one i got. But you got to be a bit more lienant with his powers to get that ending.
Great gameplay 🥹
You made good careful choices throughout the gameplay and you're detail oriented as well, I'm satisfied with the ending and I'm going to add this to my fav!
AYYY Kasta’s rocking the Rachel fit
To be honest, out of all the endings this is the happiest one in my opinion. There are some interesting endings but if you had surrendered there I just see it as such an unfair punishment for Sean. He's living his life in Mexico and Daniel can always go visit.👌
I just want you to know your play through made me SOB. I love how you progressed through this game, taking your time and making sure to see every little detail. I'm so excited to see how you play the other life is strange games! ❤

Very excited to see your take on true colors, it's one of my favorites for sure. Even got a matching tattoo the main character of true colors has 😅
We've probably already told you, but Before the Storm is normally played after Life is Strange. It makes sense, given that it's about the storm, so it's linked to the first game.
i love how it took a while to figure out who david was, it made me giggle!
I’m so sad she got this ending i wanted the best one for her 😭
I think she should’ve allow Daniel to kill the cougar to achive the best ending ughh 😭
@@Undercapsule When I first played this when it first came out I thought Blood Brothers was the best ending. Sure Sean and Daniel made a good life for themselves among the crime in Puerto Lobos, but at what cost to their character? Now I think Parting Way and Blood Brothers are tied for first.
@@DJB3NNYB it is the best ending tbh, also the way it shows daniel’s power is so cool
@@DJB3NNYBtrue
😭😭😭I’m so happy they are bringing max back YESSSS
Daniel jumped out of the car in my opinion because he wanted to face the consequences of his actions, the reason they were in that situation to begin with was because of him and since then his powers had only caused destruction and dug them even deeper. I think it was a bit of foreshadowing from David when he told Sean he thought it was best for them to face the law instead of running from it, which was a indicator that either both of you would surrender together or or one of you would.
I'm soooo excited for the new Life is Strange!🎉
also daniel having the monitor was more for Sean i believe since daniel was able to see the blonde kid and go to school and see his mom. i think they suspect sean as the mr.explosion
Ooo! Love the energy and the excitement in the intro! Love it!

I love rewatching lis play through
This story though is one that’s hard for me to completely finish rewatching such a great heart wrenching story between these brothers the family and friends just so real even with Daniel’s powers in play
I’ve never seen this ending with this game had me completely surprised
Ty for the great play through
That’s the ending I got!
You got the best ending! Daniel gets kinda normal life while Sean instead of rotting in prison can live freely with Cassidy
Now compare those choices throughout all episodes in LiS2 to all meaningless choices in LiS1. I love LiS2 so much more than the first game. Both stories are great, imo, but the second one really takes your choices into account throughout all episodes and they all matter at the end.
This is my favorite story in Life of strange series jsut damn loved this playthrough, & I know there’s other endings to this ending but now I gotta play the 3rd game never have
your commentary at the end is absolutely beautiful, amazing playthrough throughout!
I hope you know that you got the best ending possible in my opinion. You chose the best option. Even though they're separated, they get to have the life they wanted.
ommggg I did NOT see that coming, I was sure you'll have a different ending !! to understand you'll have to look at the other endings :))
I remember the first time I got here I couldn't help but be reminded of Cosmo Canyon.
i played the first game when i was 13, and am now 21. the new game is something i never thought we would ever get. i am BEYOND excited.
:D Loved the reaction to finding out about David.
I've never got that ending so it's new to me and I'd played it through three times. You put a lot of effort in to relationship between Sean and Daniel though, obviously the key
I think you might be the youtuber I watch who will play LiS Double Exposure😊
Most I seen Kasta cry in all her vids. 😭
I’m so sad she didn’t get the best one where they are all in mexico 😭😭😭
I personally loved my ending. I chose for Daniel to use his power and he got out of the car and took his time using his power. It was such an incredible scene. Then they casually drove through together, leaving behind the destruction and hopefully just unconscious people lol. They started an auto repair shop together. There was a moment where these gang members tried to kill Sean and Daniel used his power to scare them away. They ended up enjoying a couple of beers on the beach in the final shot. I really loved that ending and considered it a happy one! Lol
Then I went back to see what would have happened if I surrendered.
I have absolutely loved your playthru of this game
I am genuinely shocked you chose the cross the border.
It doesn't really mean anything as far as I'm aware 😆
2. The chair I currently sit on while I'm playing through games is a Haworth Fern office chair. It's quite the comfy chair
Congrats on getting one of the two good endings!
Hi Kasta! I have just finished watching you LiS1 playthrough and it was amazing revisiting the game 7 years after playing it, with you again! I pray that you play LiS Before the Storm... And for LiS2 I have never finished it but I will watch your playthrough now.

at least the second half of the chapter is quite captivating, with interesting choices to make a s a player.
This is by far my favorite story in the LiS universe. Your playthrough was awesome, thanks for sharing!
i have just been spending the whole weekend watching the Outer Wilds series and have really enjoyed it.
I'll see about adding Riven to my never-ending list of games to maybe check out!
3:00:43 Part of me was hoping that the wolf brothers would have run into max and Chloe, and just maybe max being willing to help Sean and Daniel by saving their father, preventing their whole ordeal, guess not

Please watch the other endings, they are quiet different and meaningful!

3:09:09 I always wondered why the events on the border were not referenced on other games, it was a huge deal, if the latest game will feature a supernatural murder, wouldn’t the government of the LIS universe think it was due to someone’s powers??
