Crno Vrelo Cave - Mostar

Crno vrelo another cave near Mostar that we visited during the Balkan Cave Summit 2019. For the 6 of us the swim of app. 400m was made easy buy the use of 3 scooters. The large entrance is from the river Neretva and forms a large tunnel going down at an angle of 30 degrees. At the depth of 50m the cave opens up and form a big cathedral. From the edge, the bottom is at 90m and the top goes shallow again. Despite a good visibility and strong UW lights we were unable to see the other end. Not having our deep gases, we had to call the dive just passing 70m. Water temperature of 10C and no current made the decompression easy.
