Your playstyle as of these recent videos is quite different, jarring even. I'm glad it's working out. Never thought I would see Black OR Yellow played this way.
I think i realized what blacks theme is supposed to be. It's value. Whether theough drawing cards, generating markers, or free play cards, the whole point of the color is to generate value. Unlike other colors that revolve around aggression, big bombs or hardcore removal, Black has a little bit of everything because it's trying to generate value.
You'd have to explain what your idea of "value" is in this situation because it seems like, with the exception of marker generation, what you're describing as "value" for Black's identity is something that every color in the game can do. Marker generating is a mechanic unique to black, but other than that it's a Jack-of-All-Trades color that revolves around comboing. In my eyes, "value" is generated based on how well you play into a specific playstyle. For example, Blue in most cases wants you to keep a hand size of 7 cards. If you're at 9 cards and you pop a Galick Gun, you get the buff, but you don't draw. You lost value.
@@MacBEASTyo23 value is in card games is best described as 'generate the most out of your turn to slowly build a consistent advantage'. While this sounds like it's what everyone wants to do, it's not. Many strategies prefer to remove the opponent's cards instead. Others prefer to defend for most of the game or ramp and rely on late game big bombs. Others prefer to play extremely aggressively (sacrificing value quickly in exchange). A good example is in Blue, at 2 energy, playing Videl is a value turn, and playing two cantrips a defense turn. The best way to describe value is 'slowly but surely generate small advantage'
I run a similar list, playing 2-3 10x kames for buu, and some girus for annoying 1costs ^^. Against red - except jiren- I feel like I am being ahead all Game long, but sometimes I play around too much and lose by just not making enough pressure on opponents life. Love the leader!
I have a UB next month and I will face a really good Jiren / baby / Beerus / zamasu and maybe Goku gt. Do you think this deck can win all of these matchup ?
Ew, what the fuck? Why play the game that got so fucking bad that they had to rerelease a new version from scratch? Do you even understand the levels of failure a game has to reach for that to happen?
