GOT7 has always experimented with different genres for their b-side tracks which is one of the reasons I like them. Present: YOU is definitely one of their best albums so I'm glad you're checking it out 😊
I read that JB pushed for this song because Jyp suggested altering it but jb didnt want to change it. Hopefully they do a performance video because their performance on MNET showed just how amazing the dance was.Yugyeom used to be a house dancer before becoming a trainee and you can tell he choreographed alot for this song and its really fun to see. Its so clean and on point
Hmmm JB meant his single, sunrise, i think. JYP wanted it to have more tempo but JB pushed for it to stay the same.
I though so cause its very random to see someone with good house dancing skills and you almost dont see it in any other mvs! Bless them for showing off house dancing.

Nah its not for this. It's for JBs solo song called Sunrise. Which is part of this Album. JYP wanted to change the style a bit but JB said he preferred it the way it was and I agree. I love his songs 💚 im glad he could be confident in his songs
What amazes me the most is that GOT7 have Lullaby in 4 versions in different languages. The instrumental is the same but the different languages creates a different feeling to it, if that makes sense.
Yeah and it still translates to the same thing so every fan can atleast sing along to one of the song

PD, if you ended up not listening to their b-tracks, I will actually cry. Like I teared up thinking again people sleeping on their talents, especially Koreans. They chart sooooooo bad on Melon for this comeback while this is one of their best work ever.
Do you know how many people missed out on their b-tracks, which is where ALL of true gems are. Whenever people say “I wish they do more of this and that” it just hurts my heart because they have been doing these for the longest time, just not on the titles.
PD, please tell us how you think about their b-tracks. Like, people can dislike it AFTER they hear it, but I just want people to at least give them a chance cos I ensure you won’t be disappointed. They wrote pretty much most/all of the b-track songs on their albums since Hard Carry era.
I feel that about people saying that they should do this or that (music-wise)...they say these things because they never listen to the full albums!!! ugh

i completely agree with you. GOT7 has always expressed their want to produce their own songs and show their audience their true colours. i definitely think this was their best work so far but it has been a work in progress starting from 'You Are' and im so proud to see them maturing musically and yes they seem so happy now doing this work.

Kia Kia I know what they’re saying but I do not feel that way about GOT7 rappers because its natural for them. And what I mean by that is that they were not forced to do it like other groups who feel the “need” to have a rapper. They have been rapping all along, and it’s part of GOT7’s style.
Kiara Rose I agree completely with you. Got7 has its own style that is the union of their seven individual styles. Even if they are all different somehow they still fit perfectly together. GOT7 has one of the best discography in my opinion
I absolutely love their rap line for their individuality. They not trying to sound like everyone or how everyone should sound. And the thing I love the most about Got7 is that they don't find the need to go with the trend, they're always experimenting and challenging themselves to show more of themselves through their music. And they compliment each other so well.
What i love about GOT7 is that they chose their own path rather than going for what the public want. Their sound is far from trendy and mainstream. But they've come so far with their own music and style.
I see people say they could be way popular is they made trendy songs. I say because GOT7 has such an impact they're going places with the music they like, and lots of fans are enjoying this genre me included. One day new generations of kpop will get inspired from them.

Chorus drops "OH!". This was def my reaction too. I really like what they did in this video and the direction they are going in, feel like we are getting to enjoy unexplored interesting sides to them now.

I LOVE THAT YOU TALKED ABOUT GOT7 RAPPERS SO NICELY. I think you’re really gonna like this album it’s pretty style diverse and the boys showed their individuality on their solos while making a great fusion out of it.

I totally agree on you with the voices! But i think it goes for all the members, every single one of them has a recognizable unique voice and they are all so talented with it! There music is the best for me, you are really missing out on the bsides. Got7 is very diverse, present:you really is a present :D

Lullaby is definitely a better version of look. You should give the B-sides a look since they took an interesting route this album by doing the title track in different languages (spanish version kills it, as a spanish speaker I vouche for that) . My one thing is that I feel like the B-sides on this all sound similar to the title track which makes for a great funky dance album. Personally I think the B-sides for the 7 for 7 album(which included teenager) was their most diverse and fun.
Thank u for appreciating the rappers in GOT7. They're always criticised as below average rappers but they're so good considering they're all foreigners

I totally agree that this is by far the most appealing and the most suitable song to the group’s unique color in the kpop industry.
Especially that they have their own solos in the album. I think that really helped a lot to let the fans know who they really are.
Each has their own specific vocals and music genre preferences and it’s not an odd mixture because when they collaborate into one song, it just goes so well and sounds so soothing.
Yes I also like Bambam mark and Jackson voice because it’s unique and different. If they sing more I’m sure their song would be more popular.

Is it just me that sees movie references? The flying car from Harry Potter, the bookshelf from Interstellar, maybe the talking bear is a TED reference, not sure... I'm pretty sure the other sets are also movie references, but I can't connect them to anything I've seen. I really thought PD would see it.... Can't be just me, right?

What I found so amazing about this music video is how it connected the MV teasers for their solo tracks with Lullaby.
Jb is inside the cabin from his solo.
Jinyoung is flying a car that looks like the toy in his solo.
Jackson made it.
Mark is on his way.
BamBam woke up in the picture that was in his solo.
Yugeom has his solo dancing and the chairs he is sitting in from his solo.
Youngae has the bear from his solo.

Yes PD! I don’t stan GOT7, just because their music hasn’t really appealed to me so far. But this song is so good, I think this might be the push I need to start stanning.
I see a lot of comments about not getting Mark’s dream. I see it this way: he is a really simple and chill guy and the dream looks like he care about the environment. At first he is in a big city and as he moves around, the city transforms itself and grows plants and trees. Humans keep on destroying the environment to build stuff and here it’s the opposite, Marks destroying the city to go back on a much simple and relax way of living in harmony with our planet.
I think Mark's dream is to be successful. If you'll connect his scenes to his solo song, it is more of having the success of his life. There is this saying in korea that "To walk in path full of flowers." which means to be successful or to have the success you deserve. So his scenes is like in a flower/nature. I've learned from some fans of idols because they always give that comment or wish. Sorry for my bad english. This is only my opinion. :)

I completely agree. I feel like this is the best they have come out with it. I hope they continue to grow from here. They have definitely found their sound and style. It's really nice to see their own colours and see them grow. Great reaction as always PD! I think you'll really like the b-side tracks. All of the members have solo tracks too which gives a nice look into what their individual colour looks like.
They keep getting better and better every time, they are working their way up doing what they want in such a magnificent way. Everytime I keep looking forward to their new music
I'm so glad you enjoyed this PD!! the entire album is arguably their best work. Lullaby is actually produced by the Full8loom producing team but all the b-sides & solo songs (yes, got7 has 7 solo songs this time!) are written & composed by them. It's such a smooth sailing, each song draws you in. I truly hope you can do a listening party for Present: You! If not, I hope you check it out on your own because it's definitely worth it :)

I agree, I think this was their best MV. This is also one of my all time fav songs by them. I love the direction they're going in. The sets were beautiful in this.
Watching this again in 2021! I love Lullaby. This era was huge and still is huge! They won 7 times on Music shows! Huge! The song/music/mv legendary! Also the album it was on had 4 versions of Lullaby which they did for all their Ahgases around the world. Korean,Spanish,English and Chinese. Perfection! I adore Lullaby! Always will! you really should listen to their albym it's a full album and all the members have solos in it , and there's four versions of Lullaby : korean , English , Chinese , Spanish.

@@Sivzram to my knowledge they are still top 3 internationally. Their last world tour went amazingly well. I went to the Barkley center show and it was sold out. And their vlive ch is in the top 3. Its bts exo and got7 on there.

Like outside girl groups, its hard for the General public to know bg by name unless you are big bang lol dkdktv did an on the street interview thing in seoul and thry talked to this guy who doesnt like kpop but knew bb and was like "ofcourse i know big bang, who doesnt?' Lol. I hope got7 gets more known in korea cuz they want that but i mean they are well known in other asian counties especially thailand. Im half thai so i love that lol
I love this song. In the beginning i wasnt much of a fan because it was so out of my musical comfort zone, but i began listening to the other versions of lullaby. The english version had me hooked. The spanish version was so unique i love how they cute the words up to make it fit the beat its so cool and their accents is so nice to hear. The chinese verion i really like. After listening to the other verions, i came back to the korean version and i was hooked

It’s really exciting to see them go for their style versus the style given to them also their solo songs on the album displays each individual.
3:36 "oOoh yugyeom, fuck" *MOOD*
As a vocal major, I recognize all of the directions the chords would typically go, especially the vocal line and harmonies. The music is wildly interesting, but still the chords/vocal phrasing resolve just enough to satisfy and keep the song from becoming too abstract. Vocally this music gives jazz vibes with their slides and choice of strength/breathy tones. I absolutely adore this song, especially how it keeps it fresh by ending the last repeating lines downward rather than jumping up like most of the song.
'If You Do' is still the best GOT7 song but 'Lullaby' is their 2nd best
My bias youngjae rocked my world when he first sang the chorus. Beside that, they really did improv, the only sad part is that they could've shown the world much sooner these songs if JYP would stop writing shitty music to them, and they now have their own team which really played a huge part in this comeback and I can't wait for more. Guys Stan the real MVP here, THEIR FREAKING TEAM.

Thanks so much for this reaction! I believe each individual dream concept ties to their teaser music videos as well as their solo songs (produced?) On the album. Youngjae's mv in particular was so beautifully haunting and sweet. It made me cry.
Not only did they drop an amazing song and music video they also took said song and recorded it in FOUR languages. Two of which they really had to learn and take the time to perfect.
This album is amazing, it's hard to not to dance when listen Lullaby and the other tracks. I hope this comeback is making them happy and they're getting more appreciation. 2 things that I always learn from GOT7.
1. they are unpredictable
2. they always improve and brave to experiment new thing
Those are just 2 of million reasons that make me only love and stan them. It's pretty regretful that you didn't listen b-side tracks including all of Japanese albums and JJP, you will C their true color by individual and when they mix together as 7 members including how much development they are.

thank you for reacting to got7...got7 has finally found their sound and even though they've always worked on their music they now have more freedom and are showing their own colors and they blend so well... please show lots of love and support for this comeback they deserve so much and they worked so hard and even gave us international fans a different version of the title song. they really went hard with this album and releasing the title song in four different languages please check them out and support got7 a talented and amazing group and they always have something new and fresh for each comeback.
I LOVE this area! Look was so good and I didn't know if I would like a track from them more. But this fucken killed me. Love this pop disco/funk thing they are going for. It's a little retro and just fun.
