Doesn't look like a terrible first attempt. Looks like a good test run to get feedback. I wonder how many years until they implement a quick release handle, gasket for water resistance on the drawers, and strong drawer guides to support the weight.
this new rolling drawer tool box actually comes with a quick release handle and they also decreased the height of the handle when its retracted. with that its finally possible to open the lit all the way up even with boxes attached on top of it instead of unstacking ur whole rack to reach anything inside down there at the bottom of the rolling base. the only downside to what ive seen so far is in my opinion the missing handle at the front of the bottom. this is pretty helpful for lifting it up sideways to get it into the van that way

Just sold my rolling base because I hated having to unstack everything to get to my tote with the most storage. I'll keep an eye on this one but I'm kinda over the packouts red color is a thief's wet dream

Really hope they took into account new construction jobs. Majority of the time we’re on dirt, rocks and mud until things really get rocking and rolling. Since the wheels are on the bottom I pray they’ll still work on uneven surfaces and different environments aside from a solid foundation.
I got most of everything of packout, started early so I paid a fraction of what they are now except for some recent drawers. I don't even use the rolling base box at all, I use it on one of my stacks just to have mobility, but I'm happy with the dolly base and mostly drawers. I will be getting this though. I may have to take a 2nd mortgage for what it will cost. Whoever imagined that one day plastic tool boxes would cost more than the tools they hold!

I really loved Milwaukee's even though they were a bit expensive but the one thing that kept me from pulling the trigger was that they did not offer a deep drawer box like that.. I considered Ridgid and huskey and while ridiged is solid enough their selection or styles was a bit too limited. The husky one had essentially every box I needed and has great build quality (especially compared to their cheap tub system) but I was holding off hoping that Milwaukee would come out with one or these..

I prefer my stuff to be bone dry, i mean is it really that much on an inconvenience to pop a couple boxes off? I do it every day and its never bothered me, some people just find things to worry about lol
