Bob Mann I use iMovie on MacBook. It’s quite user friendly and easy to use. Ryder says thanks! 😁

Brother, How to save slow mo by the gopro apps. Please explain.

Was the initial start mute without sound on purpose or is my PC having a glitch ? A small suggestion, next time you put a title of framerate etc, do try and read it yourself to see if you can really read that whole line in .5 seconds. I feel bad to tell a so called "film maker" this. The text overlay could have been longer instead of that meaningless mute clip at the start of this video. Other than that the footage was great and so was the test too.

So, on top of Amos's question... from what I think I understood, you MUST record the video in the slow mode feature on the GoPro itself, then use a software program on the computer to edit the capture video into slow mode?? Is that how it works to capture & play slow mode? I'm new to this, was thinking of grabbing a gopro 7 black. Thanks in advance.

Kraft T. So the video I used is not taken in a “slow motion mode”. It’s taken normally at 1080p 240fps. The higher the FPS(frames per second), the more you will see “clearly” when you slow it down while editing. I use iMovie to edit my videos so all I do is put the normal clip in the movie and slow it down 50%. Let me know if that helps & makes sense!

dude, your video on 720p60fps is broken, but 1080p60fps is fine... wtf (check 0:08 for reference)

I just made a short clip at 1080/240. I can play it back in the camera in slow motion but when I play it back on my computer, it plays aback at 240 fps, normal speed. Can you help?

Amos Soma what editing software do you use?

    • @amosjsoma

@@KeeganJasper Thanks for your reply. I dont. I don't like any kind of digital editing and have never gotten into it. I bought this camera thinking I could make videos, download them on to my computer and play them just like I do with my other camera. I have the free Paint.net that I occasionally use to make minor adjustments to prints but that's as far as I go in digital editing. I guess GoPro got me on this one. None of their promotional material said anything about having to be a digital editor to use this camera, at least not that I saw. I hope I don't have any more nasty surprises awaiting me.

@@KeeganJasper - I should add that based on something I saw on one of their support pages I downloaded Handbrake but have no clue how to use it. I'll have to get with Google and RUclips and see if I can learn how to use that program, if it does what I want to do.

@@amosjsoma Download their Quik software for easy editing of your GoPro footage. I don't use it, since I like more advanced editing software. However, it seems to be a very beginner friendly environment.
