Arnold Schwarzenegger: • How Arnold turned his ...
Arnold The Early Years: • Arnold Schwarzenegger'...
It is amazing how these two complimented each other on stage. They may have had completely different builds, but the energy and life they brought was unparalleled! R.I.P. Franco, one of the absolute best!
I never saw this version before only the scenes from pumping Iron. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Your welcome
checkout that waistline of arnold....what a frame n what proportions.... simply magnificent!!
You said it
Very true.
R.I.P. Franco.
What an exciting and great posedown that was. There was electricity in the air. Both are striking their best poses. They look like human sculptures in motion. One of the great moments in bodybuilding.
Yes!!!!
Arnold lost some size and definition in quads compared to 74, but it was obviously enough to win anyway.
Arnold numero uno.
Yes, Arnold had defintely lost some size and density compared to 74.. But It didn't really matter what kind of condition Arnold was in on the day of the show.. Weider was never gonna let his boy lose, and that's a fact.. Just like Arnold didn't deserve to win the 80 Olympia
They'd never let Franco beat Arnold regardless of how awesome his condition was because he looks like he's standing in a hole.. How ridiculous would the pumping Iron documentary have been if Arnold lost to a guy who is barely 5 feet tall.
@@QueensNativeNYC Franco was never going to beat Arnold because he was never good enough to beat Arnold even in 1975 where Arnold was not at his absolute peak like 1973 and 1974. Franco himself knew it and said it.
ancora campione nel 1980 / Arnold Numero Uno
👍👍👍👍
Franco's back easily beats Arnold's. 0:30
agree
Arnold has more definition
Not actually, better definition and insane christmass tree on Arnold... but Franco was closer to camera and video quality is bad
0:40 you know this is why he lost
Wow... Now I understand. Arnold Schwarzenegger looks so supple and makes it look so effortless....so seamless, it's like poetry.
It's different this footage isn't, we can really appreciate the competitive nature, camaraderie and athleticism of these legends
Nice upload sir 👍💪
Thanks
Before this, I only saw photos of the 1975 competition from his books.
Franco was so humble the way he hugged Arnold after he won, Yet Arnold didn't attend his funeral, I think he had his reasons so I or we can't judge him. It's how you feel about a person inside is what matters...
Franco didn't have the height that they looked for. It's just like sports, entertainment wrestling, or life in general. Tall is better than short. Arnold would have lost a time or two to Franco if he was same height or taller.
Damn...Arnold and Franco look natty in this video
The one and only.
Hello 👋, i have been following
you for a long time Sir, i am from india and a vegetarian, i have read Vince Gironda's Wild physique where he has given a lacto ovo diet but it is for fat loss not muscle building like the harmone precursor diet so i have a few question would be obliged if you will answer
1. In 36 eggs diet do we have to use raw milk in half and half or boiled milk
2. As i am a Veg i cannot eat meats and i don't know what to take and what not to take
3. What does Vince Sir meant by excluding salt is it necessary
4. HOW to make my body absorb such huge amount of Protien
5. VITAMIN B15
6. During the first week can i drink 12 at once instead of dividing it in 3 doses
1:59 what kind of face is Arnold making 😂 dude is literally trolling Franco
Arnold was a master poser. Both had weak quads and hams and it’s obvious much more time was spent on upper body development because legs in those days belonged to Platz, lol!
Platz was barely lifting when these two were posing off....Platz would come in later
Platz was not even lifting in 1975, actually he was but it was not serious... Arnold had great legs from 1971 to 1974 but just did not have enough time to put all the mass in the legs specially im 1975 cause he slimmed to 210 pounds for Stay Hungry amd tha was just after his 1974 Olympia where he was at his best. Franco on the other hand never had great quads
@@MarkoMarkovina Arnold has good legs in 74’ . That’s about it, lol
@@phoenixrisin2269 bullshit... 71 and 73 his leggs were as good as 74
@@MarkoMarkovina Are you blind😂
Hey this is unrelated to the video, but I was hoping you might be able to answer: did Vince Gironda have any routines he prescribed for improving shoulder mobility? So many of the exercises he had people do put shoulders in compromising positions, which makes me think maybe he had some super effective way to warm up/mobilize the shoulder joint. Thanks!
The true sport of 'posing'!
This is how its done! Its like a chess match... not a silly dance competition
Arnold beat him like a storm ⛈
Genuine Respect and comraderie between Arnold n Franco.
Now imagine another Bodybuilding competition where the No. 2 and No. 1 celebrate the result like this!?
Yeah None!
Genuine friendships in Bodybuilding is so less these days!
Bingo
Franco just didn’t have the legs to match his upper body (his lats were amazing).
Ehh... He did more than arnold in my opinion
THOSE GOLDEN DAYS, IT WAS ALWAYS ABOUT THE RIGHT MUSCLE MASS AND PROPORTION. NOW ITS ONLY AND ALL ABOUT WHO CAN PUT MORE MUSCLE MASS.
PROPORTION OF MUSCLE MASS RESTS IN PEACE NOW, SADLY
Hear hear
It was about having the body of a Greek god
Now it’s about having the body of a ninja turtle
Both were great sportsmen and friends to each other. Nowadays bodybuilders aren't anywhere close to their's charisma.
REALLY CAN'T BEAT ARNOLD IN THIS CONDITION...MUCH BETTER POSER ALSO.
Can u upload pumping iron movie on your channel please
It’s free on RUclips

NO. That's copyright infringement, so if you wish to steal go and do that yourself
@@GoldenEraBookworm I want to see movie but how

🤣🤣😇🤣😂😂😂😂
GOLDEN ERA was amazing problem was they never held their poses for long durations. BODYBUILDING NOW poses are held for along time.
@@ConanTheCimmerian sorry but golden era didn't hold poses for long time
This was a pose down with limited time. The prejudging was held for long compulsories and the posing routine was considered as art form. That’s why Arnold and Franco took ballet. Something that bodybuilding should get back. Guys today are too big and have very little functional muscle. Arnold was an athlete. He could still sprint and play basketball. France was also an athlete and had incredible strength for a 200 lb guy.
@@ConanTheCimmerian truth
@@resqIV dude, it's a posedown!! Your supposed to answer your opponents poses with others!
@@GoldenEraBookworm Steve Weinberger in interview once said poses are held longer today , than back than because bodybuilders are bigger now.
ARNOLD HAD chicken 🐓. Legs....THIS WAS RIGGED TO..WTF .HAHHA
Did Arnold do steroids?
Yes, he started in his late teens. Steroids have been a staple of bodybuilders since the 1950's.
@@bongothom what about Stallone?
@@themanwithtwofirstnames2197
I haven't heard if Stallone ever used them or not.
@@bongothom sad face :( charles atlas and Eugene sandow had great natural builds and even they can’t compare with steroid monsters. Clean athletes pale in comparison. Lou thesz, buddy rogers, Connor mcgreggor, Drew gulak, Tony hawks pro skater 2. Darn
