I know we can LOOK Very commercial. As I say we are not sponsored by every dang bait company we talk about. I like companies like BassReaper I've met them, I'm friends with a lot of these guys and they are just that. A guy. Small businesses. Thank you for noticing thank you supporting, thank you for understanding that to live this dream you have to have help at first.
@ I would rather support small mom n pop shops and locals than the giants killing off the small businesses. If I have to spend a little more it’s worth it too me too support small local businesses. To me it’s and investment in The community
This video is pure dedication and I greatly appreciate it. Being out there in the cold to make content for us is why I admire you so much Hank. As always thank you for the winter tips and for turning me onto bass reaper, they are a really cool company that makes some amazing baits. #HUNDOSQUAD #COLDWEATHERKING👑
I have a love hate relationship with the drop shot...does it work absolutely...do I hate having to rerig it after getting snagged absolutely. Those are some great looking baits, another solid video. #100percentwatchsquad
The drop shot has been my go to techique for a long time, no matter where I have lived. Longer leaders required here in Florida. When you tied an over hand knot, and pulled the hook through the loop, that's a palomar knot. And the worm hooks work great with longer worms 7" and bigger. #tripworm #magfattyZ #olmonster #100percentwatchsquad
Man I would do pretty much the same thing just downsize weight. I prefer shorter baits from the bank on a dropshot due to the angle of the bank, rod, line.
Im not a big fan of the drop shot either Hank. I will have to get me some of that jar jelly though I want to try that stuff out brother 🎣🔥 #100percentwatchsquad
The Berkley flat worm is a replica of the shad shape worm which is a replica of a strike King half shell which started because people where cutting rodents in half and using them on a dropshot.
Hey man I’m happy you for you. You do it your way and I’ll do it mine let the bass be the judge. The only right way is the way the bass are biting. Have a good one.
Hank your the only person that shows products even without sponsorship and that is so awesome. You and Mike try and stay warm. 💯% sqad here

They are a great little company for sure. I love to highlight these small companies and this one is just a dad, mom, and son.
Good video. Merry Christmas Bass Geek
Merry Christmas Saber
Hank, I didn't think anybody popped that knot wad through the eye to make it sit below the eye for a more horizontal hook. Good tip!
Remembering your last video on blade baits worked perfectly for me yesterday. It turned out to be a great day whack'em on a silver blade bait
HECK YEAH!
I use the drop shot in the summer but have never tried it in the winter months but I will now... #100watchsquad
It’s just so good to sit it over their heads and leave it there
Great info. I don’t drop shot much gonna do more 100%WS Great video
Yeah I’ve been picking it up more and more
Thanks for always have a great bait and a great way to explain how to use it merry christmas
Thank you we didn’t get to in-depth it was cold 😆

I can see that a longer leader works great around all that grass. I like it when I'm around BIG Boulders or if the bass are suspended on structure.
What would you do if you was bank fishing with that set up
Man I would do pretty much the same thing just downsize weight. I prefer shorter baits from the bank on a dropshot due to the angle of the bank, rod, line.

It’s the best I’ve used and again I’m not sponsored by them
6lbs fluoro is key.
Yup

Thank you Bob!
A Polamar not a uni
Damn I can not believe I said Uni. Dang it. How did I not catch that.... UGH!!
Looks like a replica of the Berkley flat worm

Also never use those worm hooks for drop shot
They work just fine when you need to be Weedless.
@ you can rig an octopus hook weedless as well
I disagree. If you want to use a worm bigger than 7" use a worm hook. Longer leader. Bigger worm. Bigger fish here in Florida.
@ I’ve used 9 inch worms with a size 1 vmc drop shot hook never has an issue
