Ive tried the normal Garnier BB cream which felt very good on the skin but would get oily very fast.then after the one for combination/oily skin came out i got it and i'm quite pleased on how it lasts.its indeed very watery in the tube but it gives a surprisingly good coverage.
I even use it instead of foundation.

Tarte's BB cream is my absolute favorite! I set it with powder and it lasts all day long without any touch-ups or anything. I would highly recommend it and it's the perfect amount of coverage for spring/summer.

Hi April, thanks for posting this video! I totally agree with you about CC creams. I also have oily sensitive/acne prone skin and haven't had much luck with BB because of the lack of shades (I'm filipino too). I recently bought L'Oreal Nude Magique CC Cream in 'anti-redness' (green). It does help to even out my skintone and gives a light coverage. I love that the green cream counteracts redness and turns into a light foundation. You should try it one day:) I like it!
Olay is very moisturizing and sheer to medium coverage. If you apply extra it can get to almost full but I recommend appying a setting powder cause it causes a little bit of a shiny dewy look like in my demo. :D

I try to experiment and try out drugstore products because they are cheaper than expensive brands but will definitely try to do a Sephora Haul and review video. :D
My favorite BB cream is also Tarte, & my overall absolute favorite is the smashbox CC cream!! Life changing stuff, I also have oily, acne prone skin with hyoerpigmentation. I think you'll love it, I bought it during the sephora chic week 15 % off sale, loved it so much I ran back to get a back up before the sale ended!!
That's so interesting! I liked Missha before too because it was so raved about but I think it was mind over matter and a couple years later I realized it was honestly not the best BB cream for me. It was just too thick for my oily/combo skin.

It's a great primer under foundation but honestly it has excellent coverage as is. I recommend to still put a setting powder to hold it on and you're good to go! :D Hope you like it!
You were right about the maybelline BB i have dry skin, and I love that stuff. You're so intelligent, April. Its nice to see a makeup guru who knows more than just what their specific skin needs are. :)
Honestly the Garnier BB cream is my favorite BB cream I've tried but I've only tried Garnier vs. Maybelline.
Definitely apply moisturizer before foundation and usually it will do the trick. Hopefully this helps! I think you might like a BB cream since your skin is dry. :D

Thanks so much April I am surely going to try the eye shadow primer. Also a very good dupe for the hoola bronzer is the "NYC smooth skin bronzer in SUNNY" in the copper color packaging. Also please be careful with the photo ready bb cream I used it for an entire week Nd my forehead broke out so bad !!! In small little pimples on my forehead, it almost looked like rosacea, much love thanks a lot can't wait for the next video :)

Thank you April, this Video helped a lot. Unfortunately I´m allergic to SPF in Face products and as all of the BB Creams I know have an SPF, I can not use them. But still I liked your explanations, never heard of CC Creams before - at least not on the german market ;)

I use the garnier BB cream and for me it does like a CC cream because my skin has less little spots or anything like this since I switched from my foundation to my BB cream for the summer! I really recommend it!
you can use over a moisturiser, instead of foundation, with powder! I use mine with just powder on top xoxo

The Garnier one sucks if I wear it for like 4 hours my face will be oily and will feel gross. I would not recommend it

I really like the Garnier BB cream! I think it gives pretty good coverage and makes the skin look natural with a hint of dewy without the oily because I'm oily like you too, maybelline is a tad too dewy for me. I have the new formula for oily/combo skin and I love it a lot. Thanks for this review April, love you so much

You are totally right and I'm totally the asian opposite, I like too look tanned and waay darker than my usual color. Sometimes I tend to purchase foundations one shade too dark for me hahaha!

I understand what you mean but I was looking at the camera the first 4 minutes of the video then looked at the view finder because last time I filmed I wasted so many footages cause I had lipstick on my teeth! LOL!!! I always have weird things happen when I film from one eyebrow not filled to lipstick on teeth or eye boogers and what not hahaha! :D

I really like the skin 79 bb cream, i know thats its a korean bb cream, but my skin is very very light and has a yellow undertone... And here in brazil its hard to find a foundation color thats fits my skintone.... I find that interesting cause im not asian, but asian makeup is always flawless on my skin! :)

I dont know what everyone else thinks, but in my opinion April looks best with the Garnier BB. Her skin looked made up yet fresh and lite.
I have dry skin and I've been using the Maybellene (totally spelled that wrong) bb cream for a while now and I love it:)

BB all the way! I hated putting on foundation for years, so I actually didn't and my skin got better over the years but now using the Maybelline BB cream I feel like my skin is perfect.

lol they are just random diamond candles which I honestly don't like which is why i have them burning on a spring day hahaha trying to use them up so i can empty them and use them as containers :D

Indeed, I only had tried Garnier's before and didn't like it (plus it's a bit too dark now) and now experimenting with L'Oreal's BB cream. So many out there but I think I'll go back to Maybelline soon. Good luck with your search! ;)
