Make up pallets and powder stays good for years. And i think that for somebody who wears foundation everyday, it won't be hard to clear out the container in less than a year.
Sunscreen of that size isn’t uncommon here in New Zealand where skin cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in the country. I’m always surprised when I visit Asia and sunscreen comes in tubes smaller than toothpaste. Also, banana boat sunscreen (the brand in the video) sucks.
@rachelleong1270 if doesn’t work as well as it says it does on the bottle (eg SPF rating). So people end up sunburnt. There’s also the benzene scandal (benzene causes cancer and they added it into the sunscreen), and labelling scandal (charging double for the sports version even though there is no difference in the formulation). But mostly because the sunscreen doesn’t work. Don’t buy banana boat.
@ small bottle may be good for sensitive skin on your face. But if you have to apply it everywhere on your body twice a day 3-4 months, it is a very expensive way to go. I typically have 1 tube for face, 1 bottle for body, another bottle for the kids
Bacteria transfer… the top dirty thing is our smart phones. If you’re not sharing your make-up, keep it clean and dry and do not see any irritation on your skin after using it, it’s likely the make-up is still okay, I‘d say.
we don’t put smartphones on our faces, do we? And no matter how you try to keep it dry, if that thing expires, it’s almost guaranteed that it’ll cause your face to break out
@ we as in normal people. Who the heck did you see rubbing their face with their phone like makeup? At most, people’s phone fall on their face and they pick it up. No one is rubbing and beating their face with their phone like they do with makeup
@faridahalani7316the phone doesnt go on the face but the fingers and hands that do do. Like everyone touches their face and its not guaranteed that people always wash them before touching and even for those who do wash if they properly washed the bacteria off
I'm also here for the fun ruining party! Inhaling most powders is actually a huge health risk! For example talc is a common ingredient that is very unhealthy when inhaled, but there are many more. But thank you for these videos Mia
Cosmetics also have 2 different expisry dates one is real expiry date when it expires no matter it sealed or unused used other is when you opened it you have to use it within specific period
@@mayl4152 Ofc it does; e.g. the open-compact icon on Sephora pressed-powder eye shadow reads '6M' bcs it has a 6-month limit after opening. Exercise care: Your face depends on it
Here in Chile theres a really good brand called PROSOLAR thats aimed for construction workers and miners, is sold at a hardware store. One liter of product, rich and dense, protective function proven for 4 hours straight in summer. Sweatproof, waterproof and no stains. If you have to work outdoors with a large group of people you need to buy one liter sunscreen. 25usd aprox. Maybe because we're close to the ozone hole that Chilean and Australian spf is stronger.
Palettes like that used to be super popular at the very beginning of the online beauty community (like 2008). Now the popular stuff is so much more expensive.
I would totally do that if I had enough friends who used the same product as me! 😂 This would be nice for a school play or dorm- a bunch of us getting ready at once; but I don't wear makeup that often and these things have a shelf life...
As a hoarder since childhood… That stuff’s going to expire. My 15-ish years old eyeshadows that survived are alright, but lipsticks definitely don’t last long.
powder products dont really have a expiration date cause its dry while moist products that consist of some sort of liquid will easily become a source of bacteria habitats especially after long periods of time even if kept well and sanitary
Instead of plus size makeup, they should make plys sixe clothing. From, what I know, there is little good plus size or even average sized clothes available in most Chinese stores
Me learning in the 2010s that investing in lots of makeup to "save money" actually tends to lead to ending up with a heap of expired, unsanitary makeup. This consumerist trend; (Unironically though, suncreen is the most reasonable one there, it lasts a lot longer, and is actually pretty regularly sold by the litre in Australia because it totally is used up before expiry, for health reasons)
I mean for family use its awesome. Like the powder which she wants to share with all her friends, and the huge bottle of sunscreen. But a huge puff or lipstick isnt worth it imo.
Its cheaper yeah. But I'd be concerned about the hygiene of let's say foundation. Powders and shadows less so. But I've had some real bad experiences with that random bottle of foundation that fell behind my vanity and has gone rancid before I somehow thought it was a good idea to try it on 😂
mostly only wet products or products containing liquids. Others are fine to use but its honestly fine as long as it doesnr irritate then skin cause makeup is putting on bacteria and us humans already do so at am extreme rate daily aside from extreme germaphobes
Id also like to remind y’all of expiration dates on makeup! I ignore the hell out of mine, but if you bulk buy you gotta be vigilant w it; sharing products also introduces sharing your germs, I feel I’d rather share a .5 oz tube of germs with mom rather than a 5 oz and even then I still don’t share with the lady 🤷🏽 if you burn through makeup and think bulk-buying is the way to go all the power to you. But be mindful of the product condition
Lol, that massive pump bottle of sunscreen is completely normal in Australia. Schools, kindergartens, daycares and sports events/orgs use them a lot, but you can literally just buy them at any major supermarket here. If you go to one of the massive, all-day music festivals, they almost always have free sunscreen stations set up, usually close to the entrance.
I feel the sunscreen one is useful if you get into direct sun exposure like me..... Otherwise all the other products can't be that useful for one single person due to the expiration date 🙃
Pass it down to the next generation? I mean, even with clothing sometimes it's difficult to pass it to your child/grandchild, since size and trends can change a lot But that a whole different rabbit hole with make up, from expiration date to different skin types/conditions, there's a lot of things that make it difficult to pass it down, especially It'll be decades from when you bought that makeup to the time when our kids can wear it (except if you want to treat it like a heirloom ig xD) And I'm pretty sure Our kids don't want to wear old make up, just the idea of wearing old make up every day, I don't think is a good idea in general :"D
They make products smaller because it can contamination issues Having a foundation that big... And the way they were using it... It's contaminated first use
I already saw that giant loose powder I just forgot what it is called 😭 Edit: I try searching on Taobao the found it HAHAHA it is called Kryolan loose powder
😅 makeup goes bad you know lol some women fail to use the normal size makeup all the way through before it goes bad please don't do this it's not as good an idea as you think it is 😂😂
It is cheaper when you need to share it. But it is an extra if you wanna use it for normal daily use. You have to remember the expiration date
The product expires when I expire
Right@@mushmush4980
@mushmush4980 sorry but I have sensitive skin, some expired products can be poisonous😬😅
Make up pallets and powder stays good for years. And i think that for somebody who wears foundation everyday, it won't be hard to clear out the container in less than a year.
@@mushmush4980 I agree ❤

why does banana boat sunscreen suck?

small bottle because its good enough quality not burn my eyes off

All the brands suck they test on animals
Expiration dates and bacteria transfer exists

@faridahalani7316 Who's we? Last I see, ppl def make their phones touch their faces when in calling time
@ we as in normal people. Who the heck did you see rubbing their face with their phone like makeup? At most, people’s phone fall on their face and they pick it up. No one is rubbing and beating their face with their phone like they do with makeup

Its all fun and games until you checked the expiration date 💀
It's China, stuff is probably so toxic that the expiration date doesn't matter.
I'm also here for the fun ruining party! Inhaling most powders is actually a huge health risk! For example talc is a common ingredient that is very unhealthy when inhaled, but there are many more. But thank you for these videos Mia
Not too mention when these products become expired in a year😂
fr, most makeup products have harmful chemicals that will go into your bloodstreams tbh
Merci josuke
do any of these girls realize cosmetics have a *shelf life* ? lol
Cosmetics also have 2 different expisry dates one is real expiry date when it expires no matter it sealed or unused used other is when you opened it you have to use it within specific period
Excluding sun screen expiration dates for cosmetics are kind of bs, powders and eyeshadows especially
@@Shifting_memes exactly i still use powder form makeup that ive had for years with no issues

In Australian the sunscreens are that size, its a family botttle thats why.
They are also more useful.

the only product that makes sense in this video is the eye shadow pallet with a big number of colors, the rest is insane
It makes sense when you wear 1 inch of makeup every day every night.
i mean, the sunscreen is just a family size bottle.
Coastal Scents and Morphe had pallets like that in 2010 or so.
The expiration date tho 😂😭
Although honestly the sun screen looks like it will be a life saver because I use mine every day
A big version of suncreen would be *HEAVENLY* 😭
Doesn’t every country have them? Very common in NZ and Australia
@@apalyna2173 nah they stingy out here
It's a good idea if you use it before the expiration date, I really hope no one is using expired makeup
I have rhe 150 pallete. We found it on amazon super cheap and it was super pigmented !
Post the pallet link thank you

Before I clicked on the video I thought it was gonna be chinese plus size women's makeup trends or something 😅not that the makeup is plus size itself
@AGK1999FE omfg 😂
Chinese people humor is something my friends should learn
Me learning in the 2010s that investing in lots of makeup to "save money" actually tends to lead to ending up with a heap of expired, unsanitary makeup.
This consumerist trend;
(Unironically though, suncreen is the most reasonable one there, it lasts a lot longer, and is actually pretty regularly sold by the litre in Australia because it totally is used up before expiry, for health reasons)
This is actually smart if you use this stuff daily
Lol, that sunscreen is normal sized here in Australia. I had a bottle like that when I was growing up.
Passing the expired products to next gen lol
I would worry about the expiration date, apart from that thank goodness this is the new trend
some of them might not be good for daily use for its sizes but yeah most of them would be 😂
The overconsumption here is WILD
It's so unnecessary and wasteful, most of this stuff will expire
They seem to be sharing/makeup artists..
@joecalamari.Fair but their targeted audience are def not MUAs... Gonna be such a waste
I would purchase the huge powder as I go through them quickly. I would also purchase the giant lipstick so I can place it on my vanity.
I mean for family use its awesome. Like the powder which she wants to share with all her friends, and the huge bottle of sunscreen. But a huge puff or lipstick isnt worth it imo.

This is a silly trend. Makeup expires. I don't even finish up my regular sized products before they expire.
Honestly as someone who likes to do makeup looks with tons of colors that palette isn’t that crazy.
Do they realize that most makeup products expire year after opening?
mostly only wet products or products containing liquids. Others are fine to use but its honestly fine as long as it doesnr irritate then skin cause makeup is putting on bacteria and us humans already do so at am extreme rate daily aside from extreme germaphobes

ok so for eyeshadow pallets i kinda agree. i dont want multiple little palettes that are just gradients i want a high quality rainbow

Sunscreen like that is normal size in Australia...
Expiry date, bacterial transfer and i can't carry my monstrous giant lipstick to work.😂😂
Becauae they expire.😅
It has the added "Comedic Relief" value into it. ie, Happy Vibes.
This is all fine until you remember there is an expiration date.
I HAVE THE SAME LIP LINER
I would like to remind people that SIZE MATTERSS
It spoil quick though and get contaminate
God I love unfettered consumerism
I need that size sunscreen!! The only place I saw you can buy that in America is Amazon, but also Amazon doesn't deserve buisness if I can help it
Thats noemal sunscreen in australia 😭😭
I feel the sunscreen one is useful if you get into direct sun exposure like me..... Otherwise all the other products can't be that useful for one single person due to the expiration date 🙃
The only things I need is the palette and the suncreen. The sunscreen is an absolute best.
Expiry date left the chat
It's all laughs an giggles until it expires
Omg i do the same thing. I buy from wholesale sites.
I kinda need that sunscreen size, to be a regular thing. Not gonna lie...
Plus size makeup…😂
Don’t forget the product will get expire too!! Sometimes I can’t even finish the opened product with normal size for two years
What about expiry date?
I cannot believe products even exist in this size.. Costco needs to bring some of these over to Canada like the sunscreen
I was waiting for the eyeliner 😂
Ngl It’s smarter then those miniature version that are going viral for a while now on the Western side
I have that eyeshadow!! Its like $15
It reminds me of the Barbie and the dreamhouse makeup
This just looks like consumerism. No one needs that much of a product, especially ones that are hard to share like lipstick

This is a horrible idea for so many reasons that I dont have the mood to type.
You do have to remember makeup expires though so you will eventually need to replace them even if they are unfinished
Buying in bulk and safe storage works well fr me
Whao!! Also, fun.
Reminds me of barbie dreamhouse series😂
It takes me years to use the regular size bottles.
Idk if I'm wrong but don't makeups have shelflives? You'd eventually need to restock before you could use up all of those anyway
Everyone gangsta until the product expires💀
"you only need to buy for a whole lifetime"-you clearly haven't seen me apply makeup, especially powder 😂
I need that sunscream 😫🤌🙏
They make products smaller because it can contamination issues
Having a foundation that big... And the way they were using it... It's contaminated first use
What's the expired date for those bulk products?
That's normal size sunscreen here in australia
Yes.. it will nice after it expires😅
Barbie was onto somethinggg
Make up expires, one cannot pass it on to the next generation 😂😂😂😂
Uhhh you know makeup expires right, ain't nobody passing that down from generations...
Well....the expiry date should last long !😂
Watch the pimples grow with this trend people, makeup also has an expiration date!
I don't know what they're going to do when it expires😂
y'all talking about expiration dates like most people don't keep using their expired makeup years after
Watch those giant products go bad before you finish it 😅
China making plus size products go trending, but not plus size clothes.
I live in Australia and that size of sunscreen is not uncommon lol I'm pretty sure like every household has at least one of those😂
But makeup expires guys don’t forget that!
I can't even finish a makeup product in small sizes
Remember kids, makeup expires too!
I already saw that giant loose powder I just forgot what it is called 😭
Edit: I try searching on Taobao the found it HAHAHA it is called Kryolan loose powder
I want this! Can somone comment me a link?
I don't think you could pass it on to the next generation because it would go bad if you buy a big one then wouldn't go bad😊😊😊😊
Help, the sunscreen bottle is just the standard family one where I’m from what 😭
I hope this won’t be a new trend in western tik tok
😅 makeup goes bad you know lol some women fail to use the normal size makeup all the way through before it goes bad please don't do this it's not as good an idea as you think it is 😂😂
Did anybody think about the expiration date? Most of these? Don’t last more than a year? You gotta throw it out after 12 months to 24.
When they realize makeup expires🤣🤣
"Expiration dates and bacteria were invented in 1676"
People in 2024:
😂😂😂
Cosmetics is okay...how about people there normalize normal clothes which they consider to plus sized 😊
