Remember that “perché” is used both in the question and in the answer, it means both “why” and “because”!
Che cosa? = What? (e.g. Che cosa fai oggi? = Cosa fai oggi? = Che fai oggi? = What are you doing today?)

I travel to northern Italy 4/5 times each year since 2014. (Lombardia, Vincenza) I visit Lake Garda and participate in clay shooting competitions. I get more enjoyment by making the effort to converse in Italian. The Italians appreciate someone who tries and are very willing to assist/correct.

I study Italian because it's the easiest language to learn for spanish speakers like me and because you are so beautiful to watch.
I study Italian because my mothers side of the family was of Italian origin. They spoke dialect, but I like standard Italian. It sounds cool in the movies.

Hello Marta, how nice to see your lovely face every day and hear your happy voice. I just love to hear your magic voice and smiley face. You are true teacher, you are true human. Thank you for teaching us this gorgeous and beautiful language. I will tell you why I decided to learn this beautiful and gentle language. Probably many would not believe to this story, but I am sure you will believe everything that I have written, this is the truth story. Almost 33 years ago, I fell in love with a very sweet girl, we had a very good life together, our relationship was very strong and I would never have thought that something would happen between us to separate us. And so, it happened, we fought and argued, as it happens in married couples, no, we were not married, but, once, we both made a stupid mistake, after another stress happened between us, we parted. After a very short time, she married an Italian, and I, later, married an American, and we parted to different parts of the world. All this time, everyone arranged their life in their own way. But for so many years, each of us quietly searched for each other. Due to the fact that our surnames were changed with different spelling than original, it was difficult to find each other. One day, 33 years later, in March 2020, I just came back from Rome, visiting my friends, I received a message from her and found out that she had finally found me after many years of searching.
During my visit in Rome, I was actually about 30 minutes away from her house. We were both so happy with each other, talking on the phone for hours and hours, later we didn't even count the time spent on the phone. Because of the pandemic, we could not meet, but all this time we continued to talk on the phone for 10-12 hours every single day nonstop. But somehow it happened again, we had a fight again, she changed a lot over these 30 years, devoted more time to loneliness, went into depression.
On one of those happy days, suddenly she decided that she no longer wants to talk to me, blocked my number, left all social networks and disappeared. I have learned through mutual friends that she is alive and well, she is still playing golf near her house, but something has definitely happened to her. Now she is 64, I am 72, I continue to think about her and love her madly, I am sure that she loves me too. I tried to find her address, to write a letter, to find out why she tore everything up. Therefore, I gave myself my word to learn Italian and while I can move around, can breath and walk I will fly to Rome and find her and ask, Perche?

I miei genitori dopo il conservatorio di Leningrado fino alla pensione hanno lavorato al teatro di Taschent (mamma era la prima cantante, soprano drammatico e papa 'faceva il corista, coie' dirigente del coro). Quindi sono cresciuta dietro le quinte, bambina del teatro. Ero destinata a studiare l'italiano che e' diventato la piu' grande passione della mia vita. Sono arrivata al livello abbastanza alto e ogni giorno mi esercito per mantenere la forma linguistica.
