It's like when French billionaires donate to rebuild Notre Dame, and idiots got pissed off. The $130,000 Models Own polish is the same polish as their cheaper one because it’s the lid that makes it so expensive as it’s made from white gold and diamonds. The nail polish itself is exactly the same and I don’t think it actually contains gold. So I think they may have had a real bottle and the lid just appeared silver because it was white gold.
It probably does have gold. I've purchased a top coat with real gold flakes and it was like $12. The one in this video doesn't look like it has a huge amount of gold, but probably like $100-200 worth. It's crazy what people will pay for this crap (obviously Cristine got it as a joke and has the funds to do this, plus she gets to write it off for her taxes).
