I really love this video. It reminds me of my old fragrant memories with grandmother as a child. When I was young, I used to visit my grandmother's house in the countryside on holiday and spend time there. I was really happy to meet all the surroundings that I could rarely see in the urban areas. And spending time with my grandmother always made me happy too. Now, It's been almost 24 years since my grandmother passed away. I haven't been there since then. As time goes by, my memories with grandmother are becomming vague. But I'm still missing her and...my childhood. Thank you very much for giving me a chance to think of my precious things!

Very true~ Unfortunately pretty much all young people head to Seoul or other major cities. It's quite difficult to make a living farming in the Korean countryside so I can understand, but it's still quite sad :/

Thank you! It really is so lovely there in the summer. Sadly, there are already SO many empty, abandoned houses/buildings here after elders passed away...since this area isn't inhabited by young people, I'm guessing that's what will continue to happen :(

Also, it would be great if you could do a video of the makeup you use. I live in Las Vegas and the heat here is very intense and I wanted to know what your foundation routine was considering it's very humid there. In the EBS channel docu show, it said your grandfather's house is over 400 hundred years old. Not many Hanok houses like that left in Korea, as many of them are torn down.
You guys are adorable couple which made me end up with watching heaps of videos for like one hour or so :) Since I'm also having an international relationship, kiwi and Korean, wondering how things went with 규호's parents and 세라 before you guys get married. 규호 might not have typical traditional, conservative Korean parents but I wanna know how 규호 started talking about the relationship with foreign girlfriend and how you convinced them if you had to at some stage when things got serious :) (cuz Ive got that kinda parents to be honest haha)

You are a full-fledged member of Korean society indeed like I am an Asian-Canadian as we are known in Canada. I like Kimchi very much. I usually buy it at a Korean grocery store in Montreal. Aldehyde Haha, we very rarely talk to each other in Korean, it feels a little unnatural to us--almost like you're talking to a totally different person, but we do mix languages in our conversations sometimes ^^ Honestly, both of us love to travel and we get a bit antsy when we have lived in a place for too long, so we're aiming to live in different places/countries without staying in one place 'forever' ^_^ As for our future children, the only children we have planned are dog and cat children, but we'd have a to have a bigger place and a lot more time to care for them, so maybe that won't be for a while since our lives are so busy :D

My questions is what is night life like in Korea? I see a lot of shows like Roommate or even in Dramas and it seems like everyone is up til late hours, or is that just for shows? For example here in the US it seems like we go to work, go home , and don't even think about going out once we finally do get home. Seems we only go out at night if we are in our 20s and it's a Friday or Saturday...Take Care ^.^
thegeekycatgal Yup, you're absolutely right for the most part, haha. It doesn't seem to matter if they have to work the next morning/it's the the middle of the week, Koreans will still go out and drink until really late hours. I just can't do it o_o

제가 지금 외국인 친구한테 한국말을 가르쳐주고 있는데 생각보다 어떤식으로 해야할지 어렵더라구요... 혹시 세라도 한국어를 꾸준히 배우고 있나요? 그렇다면 어떤식으로 익히고 있는지 궁금해요 ! ㅎㅎ
김민수 네 세라도 한국어를 꾸준히 배우고 있어요~^^ 정말 새삼 느끼지만 한국어는 정말 어려운것 같아요.. 저도 누굴 가르쳐줄 처지가 아닌데.. 참 난감한 질문들을 많이 해서 저도 세라와 같이 한국어를 배우네요 ㅋㅋ 주로 지나다니면서 실제로 보여주고 단어들을 알려주면서 눈으로 보고 기억에 새기도록 도와주고 있어요~ 그림과 단어가 어떻게 사용되는가를 중심으로 가르치니까 훨씬 기억을 잘해요^^ 문제는 극존칭과 존칭..반말 등 정말 까마득하네요;;
