great racing guys ...i wann come visit
You are welcome to come
This is brilliant! I'd like some information about the trucks: make, modifications, bodies ... do you have any resources, links, etc.?
Chassis... Any 1/10 2wd mid or rear motor buggy. Battery must remain on the chassis centerline. No material may be added to the chassis but you may remove material to lighten it up.
Body. Any 1/10 scale American manufactured sedan body from 1960 to present. McAllister Racing has a ton of bodies that fit this class. All 4 tires must remain under body. All bodies must be at least 9 inches wide. The body must have the windshield . Rear window and side windows must be removed.
Spoiler... 1” max height. will be measured from deck lid to top of spoiler. No preformed spoilers allowed. Made from flat stock only
Motor... Any 21.5 5.40 brushless motor no 4 pole
Electronics... Any ESC blinky mode only
Tires ... 1/10 rubber buggy tires only no foam tires allowed
Drivetrain... 2wd buggy chassis with gear box transmission only
Batteries...Any 2s Lipo 7.4 volt battery. No high voltage packs
@@WRCE2020 Thank you very much for your detailed answer! Although there is not such RC scene where I live, I'd like to build such street stock rig just to bash around. There are some cool looking bodies out there! AE recently launched the SR10, which seems to be exactly that class. What about short course conversions? Aren't those too big?
A also think about misusing one of those recent drag cars (DR10, 22S Drag, Drag Slash), because they also offer a lot of bodies to choose from. With a bit of trimming and other wheels/tires it should work fine and look good. Do you have any experience with drag cars on dirt tracks or bashing? Nobody seems to do this, but the bodies look pretty nice.
Cheers!
@@mikefeit7177 thanks for your reply. Shortcourse 2wd is the bomber class, using vintage bodies as well, most people at the local track are using Traxxas slash 2wd brushed !! It is fast you can check my other onboard video racing that class with a brushed slash 2wd. Nastruck is 4wd Shortcourse trucks with any SC truck body.
So I wouldn't be able to convert an old junk nitro rc10gt1 into the street stock? Cant afford to buy a buggy and I bought a 4wd short course I can't compete with cuz everyone around me is apparently brushless. Need a more rtr out the box class to bring more folks in I think.....
Can i ask why are the windows have to be removed?
Great racing! I was on the edge of my seat!
Thanks for your support! We are so glad that you like it
THE ORANGE 01!
This is really awesome! Subbed!👍😎👍
Thanks!!! 😃
I race thunder trucks and SR10 now 🏎️🏁🏆😆👍
Just got into drag racing now this!😁😁
The fun never ends in RC stay tuned
Damn that looks like a lot of fun. What chassis are they running? I'm looking into the Team Associated SR10
They run any 2wd buggy chassis 1/10
Me too its definately my next RC!
That was fun

Now, that was awesome. 🤩
13 hour drive from Nashville? Might have to take a road trip!
You will love it!!!
@@WRCE2020 Talking to some buddies, I might bring a crew. Is there an official website with race and lodging info etc? Thanks budddy

That's their facebook group, check it out
@@WRCE2020 Rocking, thank you!
Really nice category. What is the most common chassis used?
1/10 2wd buggies, Team associated b5m or even the b4 ....
Kick ass!
👍👍👍!
This is cool, is it drag racing bodies on stadium trucks?
They are 2wd buggies. Also Any 1/10 scale American manufactured sedan body from 1960 to present. McAllister Racing has a ton of bodies that fit this class
@@WRCE2020 Thanks! The front tires looked wider that's why I thought they were stadium trucks. After I posted the first question I subbed and looked at your other video with the Tekno 410 that had the 55 chevy body on it. This is awesome!
Wanting a new transmitter but I'm stuck between the ix12 and nx10 spektrums which would you get? Also seen alot of reviews on radiomaster tx16
The race got really intense @1:15😂
This guy reminds me of the hindenburg crash lol
Surviver series
Super stock I love it
Thanks for watching!!
sick
THANKS!! My fellow RC let's keep racing
Anyone know the body used on the yellow truck in the thumbnail?
Parma body #1247
These are bombers at my local track, not street stock
13.5 or 10.5 class?
13.5
Cool 😎 like from France 🇫🇷
@@jspeedrc no like from merica
Surprised no one was triggered by the general lee car, lmao
We do this sort of thing here in Northern California except with real cars. 100, 200, and 400 lap races. And in October 2020 we went to Texas and participated in a 600 lap enduro.
That level of racing is one, if not two, tax brackets above 95% of the average RC racing enthusiast I'm willing to bet. Walk around the pits and see how many car owners filed a 1040EZ in the last decade I'd be interested in those stats.
Ol Duck here is a Lone Star 600 Vet. Swinging his big D over here so all the 15yr old racers know who's in the Big Show.
If I did oval racing I think I would get dizzy.
You can have a great time!!! It is very fun .
Logan I raced oval in 1989 I love it
What's the beeping the lap count? More annoying than those people who had their cars too close
1/8th scale? 4s?
2s battery 1/10 scale.
@John Lujan Yes they are , the body makes them look alot bigger. Regardless they a fun to race
@John Lujan they have sc street stock. It's essentially 1/8th scale haha. That's what I run. Open esc Open motor
@John Lujan yeah I was too until a friend and I said Let's try it. Then I got hooked from the competition and I can't even bash anymore. I get board to easy jumping ramps until it breaks or speed runs down the street lol. To each there own my friend. Give it a try sometime
@John Lujanhaha. Yeah thats even worse.thats why I can't get into all these speed runs. Snooze fest lol. I need dirt amd ramps if I'm bashing
Imagine brushed motors with 21T on it and 10000mah 7.2 to 7.6 that would easily be a death 100 laps, a little slower but that extra brush would allow the motor to last all that. Also it would be like an stamina race... of course cooling coil will have to be added thats a lot of heat... othet than that this on brushless is awesome
Indeed, power starts fading drastically when the brushed motor gets hot. You can check it out the onboard video on this channel , we were running a stock slash 2wd titan motor
@@WRCE2020 I'll definitely will, keep up the awesome content 👏
Yep you tricked me into clicking with the thumbnail. Thought it would be some exciting racing.
Thought wrong.
sorry to hear that, we do have an inboard 360 video a lot of racing action .
This is my local club track. Just 1 of many classes we run. The racing and the fun we have is priceless
@@DirtbikeDad 100% agreed
Buggy based 2wd street stocks look more scale sorry not as bulky as the slash bodies. Y'all flying though for a brushless 2wd slash on dirt I have a highly moded lcg slash built for open modified or A mod of you call it that with a sipple.speedshop body and stock power system in it and completely moded suspension ECT from dirt works or custom works the one Tony Stewart owns and it holds it own against purpose built sct a mod class
YES, agreed 2wd Street stock are more scale looking. The first time I saw them at the track, In couldn't believe it was based on a 2wd chassis. Really ?I have never seen that car. Do you a link to check it out?
