  • Every worldview must in some way answer the questions of Origins, Meaning, Morality, Destiny, and Identity. In this video I discuss those five primary questions as well as four categories for the various worldviews you may encounter: Theistic, Pantheistic, Humanistic, and Naturalistic. While Pantheism is a type of theism, it is very dissimilar to the types of theism that we normally think about with Monotheistic or Polytheistic worldviews, so it has been given its own category. Naturalistic and Humanistic worldviews are usually Atheistic (though there have been people that try to combine these categories, but usually fail in making a worldview that is coherent and without contradiction). The combination of the answers to these big questions as well as the central beliefs of the individual about God, Man, and Nature largely determine how the person will view everything else in the world (the lens or filter they see everything through) --that is, their worldview.
