Look at Python and Tensor Flow. 3) Tesla is facing increasing competition at both the top end I.e European brands and at the bottom end BYD, KIA, and Hyundai. Which means without scale Tesla is being squeezed 3) The AI boom for chip companies is limited to the saturation point for building AI infrastructure. This will happen over the course of the next year. 4) the real action I believe is with Quantum e.g D-Wave systems and the emerging companies that are in the early stages of employing Quantum to solve real world problems Just a thought

Watching this, it's clear on the marketing side of things that Tesla has swapped Innovation with Exponential innovation and in doing so has been and will continue to blow everyone else trapped by traditional methods out of the water.

I saw a video of an Uber driver who drove over 126k miles within two years (I think it was a Model X). He had to purchase a new battery for about $12,000. I have had my car for 13 years and have not spent $12K on maintenance over 13 years. After that video, I stopped thinking about purchasing a Tesla. Can you add some more color to this cost?
12k 😂...I'm fairly certain there are no new or refurbished batteries from Tesla for 12k. With tax and installation the invoices being posted are much higher.
If you charge EV properly (keeping battery % between 20%-80% most of the time) you don’t need to purchase new battery with 126k mileage. Normal people won’t drive 100k miles in two years.
Actually they did predict $4000 share price back in 2019 when a share was about $300. This is before the two splits. Adjusted for the 5 for 1 and 3 for 1 forward splits, this would be equal to predicting a share to go from $20 to $265. The shares have been trading between $115-$300 range after they hit all time highs of $400.
She is one of the most controversial figures in the industry .The vast majority of the investment committees do not approve her organisation in Europe . Quite contrary ,I have invested in her products since 2020. I trade funds . I have only had the most amazing experiences with her products !! I respect and appreciate Ark with their high integrity. The 25k car likely is the same form factor as the robotaxi. 2 seater. The Reuters is probably confusing this. You can choose to own one and contribute it to the fleet of taxis or just ride share. Second version could be an adaptable 4 person, squeeze to 6 people with middle seats of a bench or something, no steering wheel, more like a minibus. Both share same battery frame, motors, etc. bus has no dash, steering wheel. Small car does. Maybe you as a customer can take control of the 2 seater, if you want.

What happened in the last 2 years corresponds to the spike. 4. Construction computers and electronics is up mostly thanks to the artificial governmental boost.
As far as safety for autonomous driving I think about $AUR Aurora Innovation. Auroras connection with Volvo and as you stated Volvos history for having the safest vehicles is interesting.

What an amazing time we live in that the middle class can have a chauffeured lifestyle. I don't like to drive at night because having had RK eye surgery in the 90s the glare of headlights makes me unsafe, but I could drive just by watching the screen in my Y because it sees so much better than I do. The new FSD update is breathtaking in its capacity to drive better than me on my best day.

The whole thesis is based on the "hope" of people wanting to buy cars with subscriptions, which is ridiculous. Nobody buys a car to also pay hundreds of dollars for applications, at least the majority of the people.

About 400k FSD users have driven a cumulative distance of about 1 billion miles. That boils down to about 2.5k miles per user per several years. That does not sound like a lot, does it?

Model Y - If Tesla were a normal car company then the Model Y would be three or four different models. So is the Model Y being number one in sales really that big of an accomplishment? Chinese EV makers are destroying Tesla market share in China. Next comes Europe. Used car prices on Tesla have plummeted in US, so there is no reason to buy a new Tesla (I drive a Model 3 but would buy a used car now). The problem with the autonomous business model is that it requires full Level 5 driving. Lidar is a backup that prevents crashes with accurate and precise mapping of distance and mass. Without lidar the accuracy required from vision processing is incredibly high because vision based systems must interpret flat representations into a 3-D model. Artificial intelligence systems are not good at 100% accuracy and Tesla cant get through regulatory hurdles without at least a year of perfect driving record, so 2027 is probably the earliest there could be financial impact. Tesla will plummet by 50% at minimum due to profits dropping 75% by 2025. If US China relations deteriorate, Tesla is an easy target for the CCP, we are talking a potential bankruptcy level event if the CCP targets Tesla. Please dont listen to Cathie, she is just wrong about everything.

Without lidar the accuracy required from vision processing is incredibly high because vision based systems must interpret flat representations into a 3-D model. Artificial intelligence systems are not good at 100% accuracy and Tesla cant get through regulatory hurdles without at least a year of perfect driving record, so 2027 is probably the earliest there could be financial impact.
Tesla will plummet by 50% at minimum due to profits dropping 75% by 2025. If US China relations deteriorate, Tesla is an easy target for the CCP, we are talking a potential bankruptcy level event if the CCP targets Tesla.
