just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.

My biggest irk with ETFs is the lack of optimization. Large changes in any given stock in the ETF can drag your portfolio down. But in general, ETF or not, I think the stock market isn't showing any sign of slowdown and I want to invest about $60k but I'm not so confident about my abilities yet.
I have greatly grown more than 45% this year already, though my FA has advised we diversify going forward. But safe to say a growing market does not always mean that the economy is smooth-sailing, but yeah, we can as well enjoy while it lasts.

Cathie wood is capricious. She hailed nvidia, sold out most of her investments, left $200 million on the table, now she begins to compare nvidia to cisco and touts tesla and palantir. Can she ever be straightforward. Nvidia will soon shoot up again to her chagrin.
She often says 5 year trajectory but ARKK is down over 5% if held for last five years. SP500 was the winner.
She’s better at talking than investing.

Another great video, thanks! I think the market is over-heated. And I am concerned that people are focusing less on fundamentals and just chanting the mantra of dollar cost averaging and driving the market higher without considering fundamentals. It is a catch-22 for me. I mean I like stock prices going higher but I also hate buying over-priced stocks and ETFs. Personally, I have stopped buying growth ETFs- they are ridiculously over-valued. Dividend stocks and ETFs are a little better but they are still over-valued. There is some hope with small and mid caps. I am not sure they are undervalued but at least they are less over-valued..This pattern offers a valuable insight for strategic planning. Despite these trends, i have delve deeply into active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 442k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Kelvin Hurdle, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape

AI stocks will dominate 2024. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I know someone who has made more than 200% from NVIDIA. I'll also take any other recommendations you make.

I like Cathie and had money in ARK, but I decided I wanted to do my own research and ended up looking into just the top companies in each of their funds. The CEO of Invitae did not impress me. I have a little bit in CRISPR still, but there really is no company like Tesla.

Kevin, great interview. I'm part of Cathie's Weekly Brainstorming Group. By the way, you should upgrade your backdrop. There's better ones out there like ones that fit over poles that are like sleeves. They don't gather like the ones you are using.
Given how dismal ARKK's performance has been ever since the Fed raised the interest rates, one shouldn't be surprised, I suppose, that Ms. Wood doesn't have good things to say about the Fed. She also gets SBUX situation completely wrong. (SBUX is suffering a boycott by certain demographics since Oct, last year.)

they're saying your fund is bad over the last 5,6 year horizon. The 5 year time frame is that you always raving about.... your fund gains like 2% over the 5, 6 years while other funds gain multiple times over the 5,6 year window. You sold nVidia like 5 years ago for some other stocks that drastically lost values over the same time frame....

Trump anti-EV's? I don't know about that, Trump is just going to drill more to be self sufficient is my understanding of it, I don't think he is against EV's.
He once made disparaging comments about EVs and that nobody wants them, but he has definitely had a change of heart and he has even talked to Elon Musk numerous times and now I think he sees that we are heading towards an EV world and he doesn't want China dominating that market.
I think he will do everything to reduce the price of oil and probably phase out the ev tax credits ASAP but other than that, he knows EVs are a great boon to the US economy and he would not stand against that.
Trump is for EVs if that's what the audience in front of him wants to hear. Trump is anti-EV in front of a different audience. Audience appreciation and money.
Just a couple of weeks ago Trump offered to let the oil industry write his environmental regulatory changes if they donated a billion dollars to his campaign. I expect he's hit up Elon for a big donation with the promise to support EVs.
