@@skelett9221 No it's not. The game was such a hit in Czechia they actually recreated the attack on Skalitz! They even killed some guy named Henry's parents!
Ngl when I first realized that the places existed and I looked it up on google maps the first thing I felt was a sense of creepyness due to how little everything changed after 620 years - I mean the dev team only built stuff that was documented to have existed back at the start of the 15th century.
Fascinating that it has stayed so similar. Meaning people from Henry’s time and then on have kept living their humble lives matter there and procreated. Now people from all over probably live there, I wonder if there’s people whose family have lived there since the Middle Ages
Nice to see some stone structures still standing in the middle of modern towns. On the other hand far from towns out in nature you can find remains of prehistoric forts in many countries. They are in my experience mostly stone rubble below a cliff, at least 1000 years old. These were more like Vranik probably. They are typically in the middle of nowhere inside dense forests just like Vranik. Though not built sturdy like castles you see Vranik's walls still standing in KCD. Well on it's way to become rubble in the next couple of hundred years maybe. Interesting to think about.
This is definetly on my travels bucketlist luckily im your next door neighbour ;) i would really love to see all these places in person, one of my favorite games
Are they staying in Bohemia? I think they should be in France during the 100 years war. The Hussite wars is when they start using fire arms so not sure if that would be a good sequel to a medieval game
@@verde629I'd rather see them dive into the conflict between the Teutonic order, Poland and Lithuania. It's somewhat smaller in scale and fits the theme of the game better as far as I'm concerned. Witnessing and maybe even taking part in the Battle of Grunwald would be awesome.
