- Join me as I walk around RSPB Bempton Cliffs taking in a glorious sunrise after a rain shower and photograph the sea birds that visit the cliffs every spring. Gannets, Razor Bills & Atlantic Puffins are already there and I can't wait to go back in another month or so when the numbers will be in the hundreds of thousands.
Bempton Cliffs, on the spectacular Yorkshire coast, is home to one of the UK's top wildlife spectacles. Around half a million seabirds gather here between March and October to raise a family on towering chalk cliffs which overlook the North Sea.

My name is Chris and I’m a landscape and nature photographer based in Hull, UK. My love of photography is growing year on year and as my experience grows - so does the quality of my work!
My main area of focus with photography is landscapes and outdoor scenes and I have a genuine soft spot for a good long exposure. I live on the east coast, almost, of the UK and so I tend to spend a lot of my photography time down by the sea at sunrise - it’s a great feeling watching the sun come above the horizon and urge you to give it a try!

Superb video, I have to be there in July for 3 days. is it allowed to take pictures where you are at minute 6:20? we seem to see the birds well on this side?

Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it. When you get there head past the view point called “Seabird City” depending when you get there it’s likely to be the one that’s full of people. Keep heading north and you’ll see some concrete posts in the ground on your left and a smaller square block. Where I was stood what over the fence from the posts and block.
