People look for solutions and they dont wana go through understanding what is going on. Ot everyone is as smart as you so you need to chill when you look at videos, especially that you have not offered any solutions or shared anything useful, at least i did and i had to explain it. my backup camera Screen is within my mirror. I had the same issue, and this gave me the Idea to just flipped the mirror over. No idea how I didn’t think of that myself lol

I have a Focus 2012, and the camera is upside down but the left and right is still correct, so reversing is really easy for that part l, it just would be nice to fix. This won't work for me. I saw someone else mentioning this below.
Hello, I just bought a 2011 Edge and the backup camera is upside down as well. Also, does the trunk door open and close automatically? I seen in your video that it did. I used to have a Flex and it was automatic but this one seems like it’s not. That’s what the sales guy told me. Tbh I don’t think he knew anything about the vehicle
My 2014 Ford Edge camera would sometimes not be available or upside down or work fine. I saw a video to reset the camera on my touch screen. Touch the setting icon to the right of home on the touch screen. Then chose vehicle settings and then camera. there are 2 settings,shut them off then back on. worked on mine. Don't know if it will stay fixed or not
Really?! I've been looking for a while and the best anyone has said is "replace the camera", but my hunch is the camera doesn't control that. It makes perfect sense! I'm trying this on my parents' car tomorrow when I see them. Thank you in advance!
I have a 2012 ford edge limited, the backup camera chooses when it wants to work properly, sometimes it displays upside down, sometimes it says camera unavailable, or it works with zero issues. It’s truly annoying especially because we have dogs that are stupid and insist on trying to stand behind my vehicle as I start backing out so I depend on that camera so as not to run them over. I do know ford sync is ran by Microsoft so maybe I will try to reset and update my system and let you all know what happens. If anyone has any solutions please let me know.
I’ve done this but my horizontal is inverted.

The picture was corrupted but once you remove it u will know what i mean
Ok so take the panel off and flip the camera around then jimmy rig it back on cuz there will be some trim that has to be cut for some reason

It's at least a temporary fix... I just did it. Only thing now is that although it's no longer upside down, right and left are reversed.
Mine is right-left reversed as well!!
The only thing about doing this is everything is backwards when looking at the screen another words when looking at the screen if it looks like your going to run into something on the right side and you steer to avoid you will run right into it bc the right and left get flipped for some reason!

When making a video you have to keep in mind not everyone is as smart as you and not everyone is ready to go into the fix, especially those who are mot handy

This is a used car salesman trick. It will not solve the problem. It reverses the left and right and makes it seem okay, but it’s not a proper fix
Pull the camera fuse. Put it back it, fixed

It doesn't, i have already checked. Not salesman fix, just not paying for ford's fault which includes millions of them.
It used to be upside down, now it's not, Frack.
Plus having a camera is better than nothing. If someone doesnt like this they can go to ford and spend $700

@@nasnas9336 take a minute and just watch your video. It's absurd. You mention you're a car dealer like 8 times, say a bunch of other nonsense then finally explain how you fixed it in 30 seconds. Everything else but those 30 seconds is crap. And, yes, I did find the answer elsewhere.

@@nasnas9336 Cute emojis. My 11 year old uses those. So, I did find a solution on my own, I bought a new camera like a normal human being. I didn't flip around a broken ass camera like a frickin hack. Pull yourself together, you're supposedly a car dealer & you're pulling this shit? Yikes
